I’ll update ya’ll on the smells and tastes after drying and curing! So far both are packed with ice and smell very potent, a little overpowering still, so I want to give it some time before they’re cures and can show their true terpene profile!

Flowering is going amazing, this candy cane is growing some very fast weight and caking up with Trichome’s. The sweet and slightly minty berry smell is growing in power day by day, and I’m very happy with how the size of the buds are developing since adding the increase of 2-8-4 and fish bone meal, just a little bit, not too much at all and she’s reacting great, knowing that the candy cane is a larger auto in size makes me a bit sad with the total size of this plant, but in its young age as my very first auto I believe I probably stunted it, but after all this and how she looks now Im more than happy with the growth, yield and quality of it, just speaking now as I do not obviously know how much I Will revive from it, I’m guessing about a ounce. No small bud sites other than maybe one on a lower branch that already has a main top cola on it. The main cola is massive and packing on a lot of size. I’ve switched the light to a hour less now as I am growing 2 photo indica L.A grape and with the season change I am having to fix my temp and humidity more for the photos, so changing to a 17-7 schedule has actually helped quite a lot and also has helped my other autos veg slightly better. But all in all I’m very exited!

we just finished 2 weeks are are going into the 3 week. These ladies can EAT!! 1,000 ppm’s and no issues..looks like I have to up the ppm’s for bloom phase 4 out of the 5 are doing GREAT. The 5th one is having issues and I know it’s the media I am using. I had a different brand of soil for 1 of the banana MAC’s and it freaking SUCKS!! I am amending with Iron-Tone by Espoma to get the green back and it has some cal-mag also with sulpher ( hits all suspect deficiencies). The other 4 are in Mother Earth soil which I have had zero issues with. I will be sticking with Mother Earth for awhile. 11/6 Potassium deficiency in the banana MAC’s…kinda of a good sign. Let’s me know the plant is going into bloom phase and it’s time to change the ratios from 1:1:1 to 1:3:2. The 1:3:2 is flower girl 1 week and fish bone meal with Langbeinite the other week. I will alternate between the two for 4 weeks. Tuesday ( 11/8) will mark 3 weeks. I did defoliation and lollipoping today. This is the second one I have done ( I do the first one the week before flipping).

6/22 End of fist week in newly remodeled grow room! Clones did well with transfer from clone machine to grow rails. Got rid of the 3 inch neoprene Inserts for the sliced pipe insulation. Wrapping the pipe insulation around the root riot allows me to see the base of the plant and the root riot witch provides a good indication of moisture level in the rail. By zoning the high pressure irrigation, the pressure is running higher than the last round and I found my settings at 3 minutes every 30 min too much water. Added 10 minutes to root dry time to 40 minutes off. Seems to have done the trick and leaf curling has diminished. 😀 All set for new round. Get the last round of lids at greenbud.life Open enrolment till July 4th. Get signed up before then!

Still on the hunt for those cosmic snacks, it'll be awhile until I see some fruits but here we are end of week 1.. There's only one but she's popping! Took a bit longer than the other strains to sprout from soil but as soon as she did you could see some nice strong dark green leaves. I placed the seeds in 500ml cups with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil. These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots. My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot. As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant. Happy Growing!😃 🌱 🌿 🌲

Week 10 Hi everyone, Everything going brilliantly. Girls are gaining weight, trichomes development it's amazing. As for now some buds up to 10-20% amber and some are still almost 100% clear and milky. Leaves are still pretty green and I may keep nutrients for this week but all will depend of trichomes palette before switching just to water. This lasting on avarage for 2-2,5 day. 27/09 Day 66 All going smooth. Girls are covered with frost. Noticing some more amber trichomes. Will keep watering them with nutrients tonight and will keep observing closely their development before cutting off nutes completely. 30/09 Day 69 We are approaching final days of this amazing journey😁After closer look decided to flush this morning. Only water and Fish Shit on ratio 0.4ml per 1 ltr. Flushed with approx 3 ltr per pot. Runoff 50-100ml. Runoff ph 6.4. 01/10 day 70 It's the end of week10 Currently trichomes at some buds up to 20-30% amber 😍 and on the rest milky with small groups of amber 5% As its a soli grow we have a good few days for development. Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Day 50 - 2/1/22 - All have now received 2 rounds of Tiger Bloom +Sweet and Sticky and 2 rounds of Cal-Mag and Sweet + Sticky - and they freaking LOVE IT! Maybe it's genetics but the buds on the 2 more mature ones are fattening up nicely. A noticeable change from yesterday. I am on the right track... I gotta start thinking about the Harvest, Drying, and Curing stages! Day 70 is the general harvest day... Day 53 - 16 days till harvest (maybe) says the genetic description. So I did my first flush with filtered and Ph'd water. Almost a gallon per plant. Wondering if there will be a final push to fatten up the buds. Either way this has already been a successful grow! Note to self - be aware of the changing light to plant distance. I had the bigger one a little too close and she told me via yellowing leaves. Caught it in time but still a rookie mistake! Day 56 - gave them some FF Big Bloom. Not sure exactly why... I'm pretty sure I was thinking, finally, about micro-nutrients. Overall I started applying nutes a little too late - another rookie mistake. But this is how we learn. We go thru the process! Gonna add a couple new pics from this Windows Surface Pro 7 camera. Never used it before now. Let's see if it's better in the bright lights...
