I had suspected that these wonderful young ladies would require more time to reach peak Harvest and i was correct. Allowing these the extra week has allowed for some excellent weight gain and additionally allowing for more Trics to form and start to change color. Using my mag glass i have determined that now is the time to start my pre harvest. I have removed some of the larger leaves allowing for more light to penetrate lower down the plant, this has now allowed the lower nugs to finish of and bulk up the best they can. I feel the Harvest of the Purple Queen is imminent however finding the right moment will be more tricky. As this is the last Flowering week update i will be posting on this Strain. I would just like to say a big thank you for everyone who has been following and adding likes along the way. Growing well.

My 3 week estimate last week might be a little long. Thinking 1 more week maybe. It's going cloudy pretty quick. We'll see how the week goes. Tried to clean up a little more between branches today but the canopy is pretty ridiculous for only 3 plants(really two and a half since #2 got a little stunted from the early root rot). I really should have been more aggressive skirting out the lesser undergrowth. I left it because it managed to stretch to canopy level but it's really choked up some areas. Buds are basically laying on one another when you get deeper in. Gonna be plenty of fluff for extracts.

I had to harvest by layers due to height of the plant, so the harvest took time from day 88 to day 115, but the outcome was for sure worth it. This was may first indoor grow and presumably last for some time, but I took some great notes nevertheless. :) I would like to thank fast buds for providing me with this great genetics. I will for sure try some next next when the opportunity rises.

Grow Report by Zuppler - Week 3 Veg Phase Ayy, what it do fam? Zuppler back on the check-in with that week 3 veg report, live from the capital. Yo, these girls ain’t playin’ no more – they really startin’ to stack up, lookin' thick in the canopy like they preppin' for somethin’ big. We still runnin’ that Advanced Nutrients like clockwork, straight through that RO water, keepin’ it pure as a Miami night breeze. The nodes are gettin’ tight, leaves spreadin’ out nice and wide, takin’ all that light. I hit ‘em with a little scrog, just a lil’ bend here and there, makin’ sure that light hit every corner of the canopy. You already know I’m tryin’ to maximize that potential. Stems got that thick structure, and no signs of nute burn or nothin’. We’re talkin’ flawless execution, fam. At this point, it’s just watchin’ ‘em fill out, keepin’ the environment dialed in and lettin’ ‘em do their thing. We’re settin’ the stage for a strong finish when we flip ‘em to flower. Flushing the poundies now!!! Day 5 of flush then she's chopped!!!

Harvest was rushed due to unforeseen events. No matter though. Gave her a very rough wet trim and hung each branch from my scrog net. Drying process was also rushed and my A/C failed just before the finish line so they are a bit dry and not AS flavourful as it could have been. They have been curing for 2 weeks - 3days. Still better than anything I can buy within a 300km radius and overall one of the best bowls I've smoked in years. Important Lessons: - Accurately monitor PH/TDS/EC. - Smaller pot size (?) - Feed way less nutrients (especially for autoflowers) - More reliable and cost-effective way of adjusting Temp/RH

Today i flip the light. 12/12 for the bloom. The bright appearance of the leaves and the slightly reddened stems indicate a nutrient deficit. In this case I would say nitrogen. But I have exaggerated a bit with my fertilizer use. Accordingly, I flushed the plants today. The measured pH was 4.8. I think I slightly salted the floor. Let's see if they recover. Day 73: On the detail photo you can see very well how the stem turns slightly reddish and the stems on the leaves as well. Day 74: The plants look better than a few days ago. They are now growing visibly from day to day. Timely flushing saved a lot, I hope. Day 77: Last day of the first week of flower. It was a strange week. But they still grow.

Here comes the first Preflower Update

getting bigger each day.

Very excited to grow my first genetics from sweet seeds, they really sorted me out with some free seeds to check them out!! Week one and they have germinated fine will just keep watering for now.

Some more training nothing special. I can really see the difference with one of my plants as its less dense and has some yellowing on its leaves, so I added Bloom and Top-Max to the nutrient mix as I suspected a Zinc deficiency, but to be safe I went with the full spectrum. The soil was probably depleted of nutrients anyway,

Typical sativa trim lotsa leavessssss... Dry was pretty easy but a little slow due to dense buds, the indica really comes out there. Easy to grow likes average nuets can get large. Buds extremely dense and hard after dry very pleased
