This week has gone well, had a bunch of stuff typed out and closed my browser by mistake and now this is #2 attempt to post this week. Easy week for the plants, they have being growing well and I am impressed by the size of them. I added in some potassium silicate to introduce some Si into this grow. I decided to top them as they where starting to grow their 4th node, snipped that tip off and we're golden. They are kinda smelly if you rub them and that's fun too, Some of the hot peppers have also popped up and started growing. I still don't have anything on the Naga Morich pepper that I am hoping for. I have a feeling that as the seeds I got from these peppers where from a dehydrated pepper, they might be duds nuked from the dry heat of the dehydrator. I do have 4 vials of hot pepper seeds where the label has fallen off, I found the labels but no idea what one goes on what bottle. One out of the four bottles is Naga Morich, Having some none dehydrated seeds in my possession is one step closer to getting more of this hottie. I also found a fly out of no where, Its little wing is damaged and it more or less hops and glides unsuccessfully vs fly's but I took some videos of it. I also seen a few fungus gnats, little fuckers where not in my apartment before I am convinced their eggs survive in the stuff I buy then come out of it. Kinda annoying. PLUS I borrowed a light meter from my hydro shop, I was expecting it to be a LUX meter and that I would have to do a bunch of conversions but it was not, it was a legit Quantum Par Sensor, detecting in PPF "Photosynthetic Photon Flux" or umols/s, with these readings I can calculate my PPFD "PPF+Density" I have mapped out my tents floor into a colour coded grid of dots and mapped out the PPF at varying heights and dims. However I did not do it right and need to redo this. But once this is done I will have a functioning PPFD map with relation to my tent. This will help me tone in DLI and get it aorund a solid 35-40. Will be gearing up for a transplant next week. I try and post on Fridays but don't always get around to it. I take the pics on that date though and then try and remember what I was going to write about that week. PS Gorilla Tent Accessory's suck shit. The SCROG nets pic has the gorilla 2x4 SCROG net "black" and the Secret Jardin 2x4 SCROG net "white" beside it. massive difference in quality and size. I should have known when they state on the label its for 2x2 or 2x4, that's not even possible. Also tried out the nutrient line that's part of the gorilla tent company, Lotus, I ran it one year and it was just trash, did not work, had issues since first week and they would not correct. Buddy reached out to me and said same thing happened to him and he disliked the brand. Now starting to fatten up and are nice and frosty. Hard to choose between them at the minute on looks but the blue sherbets are definitely some big girls. Buds are dense as fuck and smell lovely. Some of the leaves are quite burnt now so they’re not the best looking lot. Can definately see the affects of the overdrive. Great product. Last week of feed then on to flush.

DAY 29: Wooohoo, it is that exciting time when we notice more of the little white hairs poking up around the bracts and the tips take on a bursting opening of growth appearance. The main 2 in flower are the Northern lights #1 and Grandaddys mimosa. Both have started to stretch and will benefit from the planned l.s.t to keep them in their best light . Northern lights has taken a very healthy S-bend in her stem as she wanted to go tall from the beginning. Her growth rate has been excellent under the light and I can see her stretching will certainly have me pushing the lights footprint limits. Grandaddys mimosa has also added a nice bit of height at around 12 inches now. A good start for stretching too. She has space and I have been removing the larfy lower growth from rhem all to not waste energy. She is a little more advanced in flower then the northern light but very close. Both of the Gorilla cookies are starting to join the party now and look like they are still in veg and pushing tips up for flowering but no signs of bract hairs yet so they will hopefully match the size of the other 2 soon enough. They are a bushier appearance than the other 2 strains so I will have to make sure they dont get overgrown by their canopies after the stretch periods. The mutant Northern lights has still remained small and hopeful but I wont be holding out too.much hope on her. I contacted Fast buds and used their after sales service to discuss the failed seeds. They were excellent and only needed a few details of purchase and a couple of pics with some info on what happened and they have now replaced the 3 that I lost. Well done for keeping true to your word @fastbuds . THE LIGHT What can I say about this amazing piece of tech. A small unit, solidly made and delivering a punch way better than I honestly expected. I thought it was going to be ok to sprout them and bring them up together then remove most of them to grow with my other lights while I flowered a single plant under it. Seeing how bloody capable it is , has thrown that plan out of the window altogether...... I plan now to grow all 4 main plants to harvest and really push the limits of this sunshine in a shade. For 150w of power , it is having no problems providing plenty of par for all of the girls to max their photosynthesis needs. All of them are in homemade super soil and the lights are their main input from my end so something is keeping them very happy indeed. In a box or cupboard , this light could work wonders on a single plant or couple of trained but I feel this would be hiding a lot of potential and underestimating its abilities. Decided to give these a few more days, was planning to chop them on day 56 but I’ll let them go till day 60. They have had over a week with no nutrition, just water. Photos taken day 59 of flower, they’re coming down tomorrow!!

In stretch mode at about 750-800 ppfd currently on full bloom nutrients. Watering about 1.75 gal every 4th day.

Hello growers, I haven't shown you my plants for three weeks, I'm ashamed, I don't know what they are like, I let one dry and it weighs 5.68g, which is ridiculous... The second is still blooming and I have the impression that nothing will happen to it. .

Week 3 started off well. Gave my plants nutrients for the first time. Lowered the water dose compared to last week and noticed more growth so sticking to less is more until the flower stage. The temperature has been consistent. This week also allowed me to top my plants. And I have seen the new stems coming out the plant. I’ve added a co2 bag hoping to see some difference. I did add a second fan in to just keep the leaves wafting but it reduced the temp so I took it out

When I brought the LED lamp closer than 30 cm, the tips of the leaves of the plants dried up, fortunately they are fine now.

We haven't had any pests for so many years and all of a sudden we have such little shit parts 😅. This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l of water. GHSC enhancer was added during a pouring (1 g per l) The tent was cleaned every day this week and the plants were checked for health. The humidifier is filled once a day. Next week I will decide how I will continue the training because I have space again in the flower tent 😀. This week I'll decide whether it goes straight into the flower tent or is pruned again. OMG! Miss Gorilla was showing her strength this week and grew a whopping 9 inches this week. The sun is shining and she is drinking 1 gallon of nutrients a day. @Fastbuds website says, "Plant Appearance This lady likes to stay low and will usually grow to a height of 60-130cm. Her growth structure is short and bushy, thanks to her sativa dominance, and will grow one main central cola, with fat side branches all around. I have tied them down to allow light in and support growth. I am feeding her 1 gallon on nutrients a day right now and @Fastbuds website said, She can take a big feed especially during week 3 and onwards." So, I am on target with that information.
