This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! This plant is growing well, I transplanted them this week into 3 gallon pots from 1 gallon pots. Structure on this plant is pretty nice and visually pleasing to the eye lol.

She's really made up growth this last week. Week ended with a nice growth spurt. All caught up it looks like.

I had alot of issues with my environment, tools, auto-watering, So I did alot of mistakes, but I could take some clones that I'll use in a next run but I wont create a new diary for it. 👋👋👋

This week starts off with 11 hours and 55 minutes of sunlight and ends with 11 hours and 40 minutes of daylight hours. It is also dipping down to 7 degrees Celsius at nights. Rain is also expected next week. I caused the stalk to re-veg in a place it was covered with the black plastic sheet. The plastic was causing such a humid situation it infected the previous cut stems sites, it was doing damage to the stalk for being put on too early. Other symptoms included drying of the stem where the starting from where the plastic sheet covered the infection site, I looked under the sheet after this and found the infection site, The infection had initiated at a stress point in the branch. The humidity caused by the plastic sheet, caused the stem to tear at two points. Another symptom was the leaves changing colors and crunching up. Under the plastic sheet was a completely lighter color of stem. This explains why I was able to LST the main cola, it also explains the nutrient burn, as the plant is craving vegetative nutrients. I will most likely get some hermaphrodite genes in the already pollenated seed sacks due to this stalk re-veg. To fix this, I removed the sheet and the new vegetative growth. I applied 0.5% hydrogen peroxide to the infected areas.(WARNING: This bud will be toxically non smokable or consumable) I fed the plant 3 tablespoons of Epsom salt, and covered it with 40 liters of pro-mix soil for when the rain comes. I also added the open sided greenhouse for the rain covering, as this plant is fighting a waterborne infection. I low stress trained the main cola, in order to create airflow, and secondary colas. If I did not LST the colas the stem rot would have reached them and turned into bud rot. The airflow created by cola LST and the hydrogen peroxide causes the infected areas to only slightly increase, infection spreading noticeable after a week. The re-veg will also benefit with the infection recovery, even though It kind of is a result of a cause. I also started feeding the plant 900ml of water in the heatwave so the water uptake content would not cause the fungus to thrive. I also raised the branch up with a support so the infection would have a hard time moving with the nutrients and water. It doesn't appear to be spreading, and has been treated two times within the past three days. I plan to treat it a few more times before the rain. I also used concrete slabs at the base to ensure the root base was warm at night . I think she will pull through this fungus infection with the photoperiodic stress shock created by the humidity of wrapping of the stem. Cannabis is supposed to die at 12 degrees Celsius. I am hoping the outcome of the greenhouse test will also determine the daylight hours the cannabis will die at. I mean I am expecting it to die when daylight hours reach 9. Will be adding photos to harvest.

9/16 - Did some light defoliation today and adjusted the LST. With the Nature's Living Soil Autoflower mix, I don't have to feed them. So these have been SO easy to grow. I just water with RO water and organic blackstrap molasses (unsulphered). 9/20 - Watered and adjusted LST. All 3 GSCs have begun to flower! They are now on their way.

Can’t find anything negative to report. Summer camp is going well. All girls are in stretch and looking like they’re going to be basketball players. All are on course to be tall for auto’s. The shortest is now the tallest, the Harvey Wallbanger is at 30 inches, the next is the 91 Grapes at 28 inches and bringing up the rear is the Vanilla Fizz at 26 inches tall. The weather has been a little hotter and drier past few days so the girls will either get a drink tomorrow or the next day. *** update August 2 Day 44 Girls are about half way through summer camp and have been in stretch for the last week. Big changes have happened with the Harvey W. Now five inches taller than the 91 Grapes and the Vanilla Fizz still being the shortest at 28 inches tall. All three girls have entered flower so additional stretch should be minimal (we will see). Lights have the option of adding different spectrums for specific effects, so added some blue to see if it doesn’t slow down the stretch (I think it will). Should help tighten up the nodes as well. Watered them once on Thursday morning with plain water ph of 6.0. Debating whether or not to top dress with bloom nutrients this next time or wait until stretch has stopped. *** video update

Drying back and plants have grown a ton, did some defoliation and cleared the tops. Apologies for the sound muffling in the video. Wish I had a trellis net to put up, would've done it around this week to even up the canopy during stretch.

I defoliated her, cut away growth at the bottom and leaves on top of the main branches so all budsites will be as much on the same height as possible, shes a bit bright of color wich my other plants dont do with same nutes and setup, i guess its genetics and all normal because flower kicks in. The defoliation also happened to keep the stretch less agressive, i will defoliate again once the stretch stopped at around week 3 when we see the white hairy balls forming.

Quinta semana de vida para esta planta, el crecimiento vertical es muy lento, por contra parece que ha ganado en robustez, las hojas no presentas carencias y parece que el trasplante ha salido bien. Para mi gusto esta planta comenzó a florear muy pronto, tengo curiosidad por ver en que se convierte esta planta, tal vez esté cultivando un bonsai 😬 El día 30 de cultivo tuve que aplicar neem y tierra de diatomeas por el peligro de aliens que aparecieron en otro cultivo del mismo armario, de momento la plaga está totalmente controlada. Continúo recuperando el agua consumida con soluciones de multi componentes orgánicos, mantengo un rango bajo de humedad en maceta con el fin de que las raíces crezcan buscando humedad. El riego inicial para esta planta es de 300ml, en base a esta cifra y mediante pesos diarios de la maceta, sé el consumo exacto de agua. 😎 DIETA SEMANAL: 1) Día 32. UPDATE: Day 2 of week 10; Friday 23rd October: Nutes in with some LST and defoliation again. Diatomaceous Earth going onto the soil tops today to beat this thrips problem.. Sticky traps to catch the live ones. Glad I caught them fairly early as the girls still look ok. Raised my LED slightly today to give the girls a bit more room to grow and tonight I’m making my dehumidifier in a cardboard box solution to get the dehumidifier out of the tent to bring down the temps to a sensible level to deal with these thrips. I had no probs with thrips until the dehumidifier went in and raised the temps too much. So hopefully these small tweaks with get me back on track. Update same day: dehumidifier in a box method built, my handy work is in the pics, will update again tomz with humidity and temps checked to see if this shit worked! 🤞🏼🙏🏼 UPDATE: Day 4 of week 10; Sunday 25th October- Dehumidifier in a box idea was total shit lol but... I found that just rigging up the ducting to the dry air outlet and leaving the rest of dehumidifier in the open rather than in a box and then pumping that into the tent works much better than having the dehumidifier inside the tent. The plants have soooo much more room, fresh air and temps although slightly higher are not as crazy.. After careful inspection, I couldn’t see one thrip today and my sticky traps have lots of little bugs stuck on them 💪🏼🙏🏼... I’m pretty sure I’m not out of the woods yet, so to not disturb the Diatomaceous Earth in the soil bed I’m going to water them via the bottoms of the fabric pots for a few waterings to really ensure I cut those bad boy thrips to shreds 🤞🏼😎 Nutes will be going in too late tonight when I water them via the bottoms for the first time.. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 10 - Tuesday 27th Oct Girls looking good and the watering via the bottoms went better than expected.. So the Diatomaceous Earth can still do it’s job. Can’t see any thrips but I know they’re still there but no way near as many as before. Buds are still really small and in some areas look like they are beginning to turn orange already, I hope my LED is not burning them. I don’t think it’s that as some of the lower buds under foliage seem to have the same. Will keep an eye! Happy days 💚🍃🌱🙏🏼
