The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all. At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Back on track today is Day 35. In the past I have fed lightly I dont like burnt tips but with the variety of strains in this grow with the co2 I bumped it up a little. Some strains like the Polar Vortex 6 are much more sensitive than some others so it was unavoidable. Other than the tips they are all doing pretty well. The Cherry kush mints in the 4x8 in my eyes is clearly a beast it had the shortest veg time and caught up to most of the big girls. Also its development has been impressive with a unique terp profile at this stage. The sleeper is the garlicane 5. I've grown most of these once or twice before but with the upgrades and the co2 that one has developed nicely and looks like it will put on some serious weight. A smaller one on where i applied 2 techniques, a double topping (Topping x3), and a bit defoliation as can be shown in the video, she ended up with 0.5 m tall, 4 main colas, and the most dense buds i had among my autos. @Weight: The weight dried was surprisingly equal in both plants, while the bigger plant ended up in 67 gr, the small one was 62 gr and with much more bud density and crystal concentration, anyway both plants were very dense and crystal poblated. On wet, the weights were 276 g vs 226 g the smaller, what is translated wet2dry in a 24,28% vs 27,43% for the smaller one FTW!. That difference is very well appreciated in the density of the smaller plant buds, while both are very dense/compact/strong, the smaller plant buds are really MoonRocks. @Trim: Well well well, this part was awesome, very very very little amount of trim material, i finish the trimming of the bigger plant in about 6 min and 15 for the smaller what is real awesome in both cases, and the quality of the trims was incredible too, very good to ice wash it. @ Final product: The final product is almost equal in both plants, the smallest one acquired a stronger taste and concentration of crystals than the taller one, while both tastes are strong grapefruit, when you smoke buds from the small one is like real eating a grapefruit and it leaves a residual taste to orange some seconds after exhaling it, and when you touch or tear up any of both plants, the smell is also very strong to Grapefruit. My friends were shocked by the strong taste and smell to grapefruit it has, really. Me he quedado sorprendido por la poca cantidad de material a pelar y la calidad de la misma, excelente para hacer bubble hash. @ Producto final: El producto final es casi igual en ambas plantas, la pequeña ha adquirido un sabor más fuerte y una concentración de cristales superior a la planta grande, mientras que ambas saben fuertemente a pomelo, cuando fumas de la pequeña, es como estar metiéndote un pomelo en la boca además de que deja un ligero sabor a naranja después de exhalarla. A la hora de tocarla o desmenuzar cualquiera de ellas el resultado es igualmente un fuerte aroma a pomelo. Mis amigos fumadores se quedaron realmente impresionados del fuerte sabor cítrico a pomelo que tiene, en serio, es increíble. Muy buen trabajo Spliff Seeds, Dutch Auto es una genética increíble, la volveré a plantar seguro!!! 💪👌👌

So starting the 3rd week of flower. All but one plant speeding ahead towards dank. The lights below LED continue at a fast pace, I think it’s the most pistils I’ve seen firing out all over place this early. However one of the OS below the HPS isn’t feeling this groove and is developing at a slower rate. The plants that are being hit by both lights are gonna be fat!!!!! The forming buds are coming together quickly and big, they look swollen before they’ve swollen if ya know what I mean.🤔😂 I love week 3 of flower its where I always hit my plants with Hydrotops Triple F. It’s not a new product I’m using however I am using it in conjunction with two of their other products this time which is supposed to be the ideal way to benefit the plants when using Triple F. Development has seemed quicker during this grow especially from the period of switching the light cycle up to now. I’m happy. Temperature still a problem though a bit. Looking awesome going through week 3. But one plant is so much slower than the rest, I think she stretched a little too much when it was time. It still looks very strong and is covered with flower sites but they’re just not developing at a rate anything like her sisters flowers. The phantom OG in there with them are super fast. Maybe that’s making the Orange seem slower to me too🤔😂 all looking great in there anyway and am loving every moment I get to get in there with my girls. Very productive 3rd week 3 out of 4 growing at an accelerated rate, the 4th is looking fine too, well looking great actually but a lot slower with flower development.

I've defoliated a little as I go. One of the watermelon candy has a flat stem (Fasciation) I've been trimming the leaves as they are growing in abundance on the affected branches. The black orchid smells so good it's very pungent and captivating, I'm really looking forward to trying it now.

👉Day43- buds getting fatter and fatter every day :) i can just watch nothing to do rly..:) 👉Day44-Did little deformation and changed 22h>21h lighting since i saw info abt this strain 20h is best they say..... Week or 2 and will change from 21h>20h sleping time so they can rest little bit loonger🤣🤣👍 👉Day45- spoted calcium deficiecy onley on the biggest plant od 3..or 4 leafes.... 😣😪 overall all is well :) 👉Day46-flowers start to smell rly rly nice!!! U can alredy smell that orange/citrus/sweet strong smell when u smell it closely💚🤗🤗🤗💚 👉Day47-2flowers had sings of heat strees(expected that!) so i change height of lap for 10cm,reorganize positions of flowers,so the lower buds are in the middle..... and change fann position, they also kinda stopped rising in to the high white&blue sky!! Height info:cca 85,cm 70cm,66cm,64cm,64cm and the farthest bud away from lamp is like 65cm 🤗👍 👉Day48-flowers flowering rly good :) little calcium deficiency..and did kinda big deformation .... nothing to do now anymore rly ......can just water them every 2days and wait :)🤗🤗 👉👉Have fun mates and be safe!!!😷🤣👍💚

It was a nice experience, It helped me with some things that I didn't know before. It was hard at the beginning because the plant was on a bad situation. But thanks to some fertilizers everything changed, also with love and patience. Good production but it could have been more. Next times will be better, now we have to be thankful and ready to continue😜

🌿 Schönen Sonntag & einen entspannten 1. Advent aus der richtigen Zeitzone =) 🌱 Wochenupdate Diese Woche wurde echt viel gefummelt 😄 Im Fokus standen Canopy-Aufbau und selektives Entlauben =) Bin da wirklich pingelig und könnte das den ganzen Tag machen… echt schlimm 😅 Was ich jetzt schon sagen kann: Blueberry Cupcake hat mit Abstand den krassesten Stretch hingelegt. Purpz hat ihren Platz auch relativ gefüllt, performt echt gut und ist fast gleichauf mit BBCC. Notorious zieht auch, soll aber wohl etwas später definierter drücken. Mir gefällt ihr Wachstum richtig gut. Guzzlerz macht sich auch echt gut für ihren schlechten Start. Ihre Sides gehen mittlerweile richtig steil. Ein paar mehr Triebe wären nice gewesen, aber da lag sicher auch einiges an mir.. :D Abseits meiner Dummheiten lief alles absolut smooth. Eine tolle Veg und richtig gute Stretch-Phase bis jetzt =D🔥 🌿 Pflanzenstatus & Training Ich halte die Canopy aktuell noch flach – für zwei, drei Tage =) Anschließend steht das Verteilen auf die Meshes an. Danach dürfen sie endlich nach oben =D Die Richtungen sind grob gelegt, erste Ansätze sieht man auch schon =D Ich kann’s echt nicht erwarten… Budporn ist einfach magisch 😄🔥 Über die Tage sind immer wieder größere oder verdrehte Blätter rausgeflogen – hauptsächlich, um Luft und Licht auf möglichst viele Triebe zu bekommen 😊 Man kann wirklich ohne Bedenken ~30 % Biomasse rausnehmen, wenn die Vitalität das zulässt, ohne sichtbaren Stop im Wachstum 🌱 🌬️ Luft & Ventilation Hab jetzt noch zwei Clip-Ventis dazugezogen. Die Angst vor Schimmel kickt langsam wieder =D Es laufen jetzt zwei unter und zwei über der Canopy – jeweils gegenüberliegend und zirkulierend. Ich muss gestehen, dass ich den Boundary-Layer-Disruption-Effekt kenne bzw. davon weiß, und ihn durchaus stimmig finde 😊 Aber bis jetzt war die Angst vor Schimmel in irgendeiner Ecke doch größer 😂 Ich hab nicht den Eindruck, dass es negativ ist, zirkulierende Luft auf die Pflanzen zu richten, solange man nicht voll draufpustet 💨 ⚙️ System Läuft nach wie vor stabil =) Die Top-Ups halten die Nährlösung sauber auf Kurs. Gestern hat sich klar abgezeichnet, dass wir mitten im Stretch-Peak sind 😄 Sie ziehen massiv Kationen und verursachen dadurch einen deutlich messbaren pH-Drop.
