High GD community, Week 6, Wonder pie doing fine. She keeps her tempo steady, not really fast, but she keeps developing. Some of the side branches starting to take form and first lining is a fact. Ive removed 9 leafs, so te center gets more open for the small branches trying to come up. I think i should cut the internodes that are up and down, but i only cutted the one underneath. If anyone is convinced its better to get rid of the upperone 2, please comment. I do thinl it might cause problems in a few weeks, bcs it will grow up instead of out to the sides, so, hormone regulation will change, slow down the outgrowing buds and extra pump up these internodes. Enough rambling about that, lets talk about the plant intirely, bit by bit she starts to look like something i have in mind. 💦👨‍🔬 Just spraying ph 6.2water and 1 feeding this week. 3 waterings this week, 1 with nuts. Do-Si-dos auto is growing really good. She had some training done today. The strange spotting stopped on the leaves a week ago. I think she just wanted more feed. Everything is looking great now. Finally received a couple of humidifiers to test from the local shop. These shitty low cost humidifiers will not really do, I can only have them on non stop until the water runs out. If I connect them to a sensor that switches them off, it won't go back on because it doesn't have a mechanical switch, I have to press on each time. Still, let's see if this helps my poor dry leafs a little bit

Le piante alla fine della 1 settimana di fioritura sono state defogliate e ripulite dai rami inferiori e dalle foglie a ventaglio, ora avranno più spinta alla fioritura nei siti importanti cioè quelli più in alto ed esposti maggiormente alla luce. I fiori iniziano ad ingrossarsi, ho iniziato a dare una dose massiccia di Canna Flores, azoto fosforo e potassio a volontà. Aggiungerò alla miscela di fertilizzanti il Pk 13/14 durante la 4 settimana di fioritura per dare ancora maggiore spinta alla produzione e all ingrossamento dei fiori. Per il momento è tutto, a 7 giorni per un nuovo aggiornamento ✌️🏻💚

So far my confidence in this next go around is very high! 😃☀️ Putting the seeds straight into a jiffy pellet is the way I am going to proceed with germination going forward. You are just adding extra variables to what should be a simple equation (seed in sterile medium + warmth + moisture = seedling) unlike with the paper towel method, where you need to transfer them to the medium. But this is just one opinion of a rookie grower.

Flower Week 5

Welcome back to another week, finally decided to flip to flower as these girls do grow pretty quickly in DWC. Aiming for some nice quality buds bit also a decent yield of at least 1 gram per watt of light. Nutrient solution has not been changing to complete flower schedule yet but I will be sure to switch it over in a few days. The crucial part now is keeping the EC and pH in a good range to avoid any deficiencies or Nutrient lock out. Let's see what the stretch brings the first few weeks. Stay tuned, and I'll be back for the by the end of the week to report some video feedback. End of the week has ending with a heavy defoliation session. Plants were getting bushy and covering potential tops so that needed to be addressed. For now, it will be selective defoliation once they have recovered, which should be in 2/3 days. 📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Maybe next grow! 🍶 Nutrient solution changed to RO water 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🔆 Light power at 25%, DLI 20 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this grow.
