Hallo und herzlich willkommen am Anfang der 2ten Blütenwoche Einiges viel zum Wochenende an. Darunter viel, dass wir eine große Population an Trauermücken durch eine Nematoden- Kur und Gelb wie auch Blautafeln in den Griff bekommen mussten. Bisher obwohl wir es auch schon mal erwähnten, haben wir bis hierher von dem Neemöl- Extrakt noch nichts verwendet, da die Pflanzen ohnehin schon zu dem Zeitpunkt arg angeschlagen waren. Dahingehend haben sie sich alle gut erholt. Da unsere Liter Vorräte an Dünger nun doch kurz vor Ende nicht mehr alle samt top waren, sind wir jetzt auf das JU JU Royal Programm von Biobizz umgestiegen. Was soll man sagen, wenn man wem Vertrauen kann auf dieser Ebene, dann sicher Julian Marley 😇 Gestern Abend dann haben wir das Lollipopping unter der Voraussetzung Sauberes bzw. Desinfiziertes Arbeitswerkzeug wie natürlich auch Handschuhe vollzogen. Es war jetzt das insgesamt 3te mal das wir sie entlaubt/ gestresst haben. Was aber auch wichtig ist, es tut ihr ja gut und daher verwöhnt man sie auch wieder rum^^ Wir haben ca. 20 % entfernt, alles was Licht abbekommt und Sonnensegel blieben stehen. So ist bewerkstelligt, dass ausreichend Photosynthese betrieben werden kann. Sie waren alle schon sehr dicht gewachsen und schöner wäre letzte Woche gewesen zu Entlauben um so besser, für Luftzirkulation zu Sorgen und auch die Raumfeuchte runter zubekommen. Dennoch haben wir uns dafür entschieden, den Beschnitt genau zum Übergang in die 2te Blütewoche umzusetzen. Grund dafür auch, den Streck abzuwarten. Jetzt Anfang der 2ten Blütewoche ist die Bildung von Blütenansetzen voll im Gange und schon gut ausgeprägt. Demnach auch der Streck bald Stagnieren. Gießverhalten, sehr unberechenbar... man kann in die Pötte geben und nächsten Tag sind die Nährstoffe bis auf ein geringes quasi verpufft. In der Regel versuchen wir alle 2 Tage Nährstoffe zu verabreichen, ansonsten Wasser in auch PH angepassten Wasser. Ab der Blütephase fahren wir mit mind. einem PH von 6.5 bis höchstens 6,8 Da wie eben genannt nichts in die Pötte zu bekommen war, haben wir gestern auch mit 1 ml/ L ne leichte Blattdüngung mit Green Mystic vorgenommen. Nur erreichbare Sonnensegel bzw. Blätter wurden besprüht. Andere Blätter darunter bzw. daneben wurde versucht so gut wie möglich abzudecken (Küchentuch). Ja soweit wäre es jetzt erstmal. Wie immer, hinterher fällt einem immer wieder noch was ein was man sicher Schreiben wollte ;-) Aja Gesternhatten wir dann auch auf 720 Watt umgestellt. 420 Fastbuds Week 1 Gorilla Zkittlez Auto Hey hey what up grow family. Started another couple seeds from 420Fastbuds of this amazing looking strain Cherry Cola Auto. Germination started on 9/21 and 48hrs later after soaking in a glass of water they where put into the soil. Fast forward 48 more hours and we have sprouts that appear to be healthy. All in all Happy Growing

I added another 4 tablespoons of pridelands bloom top dressed after defol. Still watering in brix, green aminos, armor si, calmag and great white everyday till max saturation

2nd time doing Brix levels...some ladies went from a Brix of 4 to a Brix of 10 while 2 only went from a Brix of 4 to 6. I am pleased with their progress upwards. Dam just learned you should take leaves for testing 2 hours after lights on....I took leaves from dark period 😣. Will update with new Brix numbers taken with lights on. Chopping is coming very soon. I will tag the Brix of each plant when I hang to dry so I'm able to keep track of how the higher Brix relates to taste, smell and potency😎 😁The ladies noticeably got fatter over night!(Nov 11th). Man they really enjoyed that last watering, hope this continues into next week. Just read to take your Brix leaves in a "Z" or "W" pattern as older leaves will contain higher carbs. The refracted light tells us the amount of carbs in the "juice or sap" and minerals too like calcium, proteins and fats (lipids). High Brix enables weed to produce secondary metabolites = greater medicinal value. Sucrose/sugar (Carbs) & mineral levels in the fruit or flower translates or relates to taste. A tasteless 3 Brix tomato from the grocery store or a 14 Brix tomato from OMG you grow delicious tomatoes. Death to covalent bonding! (My goal a 20 Brix😀 Won't be happening with this grow but will be the next😁). Read that most people can detect a half point difference in Brix in the flavour. Lots of smell coming from these Gorilla Girls😵 I can only go so far with plant chemistry and then I get a headache and get lost😔

📆 Week 14, Harvest 11-20 January 2024 11 January - I made a determination to cut light power to 25%, and go to a 12/12 schedule, instead of turning light offs for 3 days. After a review of current philosophies and theories - I understand there may be a possibility that coldness, not light, could be more associated with a terpene and cannabinoid boost during this end process. So I will try something new. . 13 January - Harvest Day. When I opened the tent, the smell of fresh berries, sweet, ripe, heavy with a slight scent of pine filled the air. I cut branches and all shade leaves off, without damaging the sticky buds, and hung them to dry. The closet was at a low 35% RH (due to the 0-5 degree F temps outside) and 60 degrees F. It will remain here with circulation for about 5-7 days. 18 January - The buds were small enough and the closet RH staying staying 35%, it was ready to trim and jar up. This wasn’t too bad a process actually. The leaves flaked off prefectly leaving the bud in tact, so most of the trimming was done by hand using my fingertips, not clippers. A delicate process but fast once you get the hang of it. I’ve weighed and jared them up, along with a boveda 62% RH packet #8 in with each. Here they will stay and cure until their peak THC/terpene levels are reached at about 30-40 days, burped daily until a RH of 62% is reached and maintained. 📑 Product Review: Hybrid Indica Dominate The outcome: 4.2 ounces/119 grams of quality bud in about 90 days. The developer says just under 65 days, this could be done, it would have to be manipulated somewhat. The buds appear large, compact in size, but not so dense, a true bush variety. They are however loaded with trichomes and covered in resin. There is an excessive amount of sugar leaves that make it more challenging for the beginner to know how to care for it in later stages, especially flower. Week 6 Flower Day 45 Fruit Spirits are getting more mature as you can see in the closeups... the trichomes are getting cloudy but I dont see any amber so far. She is definetly the first one who will be cut down, but I will wait a week longer i guess maybe starting flush in 5 days or so. Green Gelato what can i say super frosty big buds awsome smell!!!! I could cut her right now but it would be such a waste. Skittelz is showing more flower and trichomes slowly... lets hope for the best with her 😇

This was a pretty explosive week for growth! These girls really took off this week! I have been topping off the res with just plain RO water this week after the change and for this run I have kept the strength of the nutrients pretty low and have been hanging around 0.6 EC, I don't see much of a need to increase at all. I am going to continue to keep a lower EC and just watch the plants. I think last run I may have fed a little hot a time or two so gonna go low and slow this run and it has been working out so far. I will be putting my trellis net up either today or tomorrow because I think I am really going to need it this run. I noticed yesterday that it looks like these girls are showing signs of entering the flowering phase so I need to get set up and be prepared for the stretch! I'm getting a little nervous about the height of the plants as well because they are growing fairly tall pretty quick, but hopefully the net will help a bit. The jack herrer had some problems so she wasn‘t really tall, but the buds turned out really well so all good :)

Started to flush one of the 2 plants. Using pH 6.5 water without anything else. Last couple of feeds for the second one which is about 1 week behind. Have to say that despite my initial skepticism, the dark purple, almost black in the leafs has gradually appeared. Not as deep as with the autoflowers, and nowhere as sudden. The amount of crystals is much higher in these FF ones. Hopefully I don't pull any dumb mistake in the last few days so I can have a no stress dry/cure.

Temperature and measurements listed in grow conditions are averaged for the week. The pH listed in the grow conditions is soil pH. Nutrients listed in nutrients section are ml/per gallon of soil. Day 1 we had rain showers in the morning and throughout the day. They showed first sign of flower. Day 2 we had rain in the morning, drizzle and showers in the afternoon. The ferrous sulfate reduced the soil pH from just above 7 to just below. I added 10ml blood meal and 10ml ferrous sulfate top dressed to each pot. The nitrogen should boost the stretch during early flower. The additional ferrous sulfate should keep the pH in the 6.5-7 range and help with chlorosis during early flower. Day 3 we had more rain, drizzle, and mist all day. The soil pH is responding slowly. It's down to 6.8 Day 4 we had rain all morning. The pots are soaked. Day 5 we missed the scattered showers, but it's been 80-90% humidity. We did have lots of sunshine. Day 6 we had lots of sunshine and temperatures above 80° F Day 7 we had lots of sunshine with temperatures in the mid 80's F. I had to water about .5 gallons directly from the hose. The well water is 7.6 pH and 50°F. Overall this week was a success this plant more than doubled in height. There's still a small excess of phosphorous in the soil. The plant grew into it this week.
