What a great week it’s been!today is day 65 from seed!! One of the Forbiddin Runtz got it’s last feeding on Friday and will get flushed for 2 weeks and will be ready for dry and cure! February 23, 2021 (Week 7, Day 50, Flower 1): It's the first day of flower! The plants slept for 12 hours last night and will keep that up until harvest. Still seeing pretty crazy growth even for the 12 hours of darkness they went through. Grew about another .5". Excited to see how much these things stretch. Soil was very dry this morning so I watered with 4l of water per plant with 3ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Big Bud + 1ml Cal-Mag Plus + 1/4 tsp/gal Humboldt Nutrients Big Up Flower Powder with a pH of 5.8. Runoff pH of 6.3. I will start watering with a 6.0 solution going forward. I also top dressed with about an inch of fresh Roots Organics Lush soil. Plants are looking great. Not seeing any problems currently. I'll keep a close eye on them as they transition. Turned down humidity another 5% today. Averaging 50% rH and 73℉. February 24, 2021 (Week 7, Day 51, Flower 2): Plants look great. Soil still moist from watering. Tilled half inch of topsoil. Averaging 50% rH and 73℉. Nothing else for today. February 25, 2021 (Week 7, Day 52, Flower 3): No complaints at all. These plants are as healthy as they can be from what I can tell. The growth sites are starting to do some funky stuff and everything is kind of starting to "clump" together. Really interesting to watch this process happen, as I've always wondered exactly how the buds begin to form. I was greeted with a very sweet smell when I opened my tent this morning, nothing strong yet. To encourage further vertical growth I've removed all LST ties except for two from Gelato 1 and Unknown 2. I adjusted the ties on Unknown 1 because it's already starting to stretch and I need it to slow down just a bit while the others catch up. Soil is semi-moist this morning but the pots are still pretty heavy, so I'll water in a day or two. Averaging 50% rH and 72℉. February 26, 2021 (Week 7, Day 53, Flower 4): Pots were light today so watered with 4l per plant with 3ml/l pH Perfect Bloom + 2ml/l pH Perfect Grow + 2ml/l Sweet Raw + 1ml/l Big Bud + 1ml Cal-Mag Plus at 6.0 pH. Runoff sitting at 6.4 pH. Defoliated one more node on each growth stem - the lollipop look is coming around. It will probably be my last defoliation like this. From now on I'll only pluck fan leaves that get in the way of bud sites. Unknown 1 grew over 2" in the last 24 hours. The stretch is getting real. I removed all remaining LST ties from Gelato 1 and Unknown 2. I redid the LST ties on Unknown 1 in an attempt to control its growth, but at this point I feel like it's just going to be a lanky plant and there's nothing I can do about it. I'll do my best to keep them as level as I can. Also, I took off Unknown 2's stem cast today and it healed really, really well. I have never seen a plant do this, but it filled itself in with tissue that is soft to the touch, and there's only a slight split at the top. It's looking really great. My wife noticed the smell of the plants this morning for the first time - so that's a good sign! Plants are starting to put off a lot of their own humidity, so I haven't refilled my humidifier in days. Averaging 50% rH and 72℉. Happy Friday everyone! 👻 February 27, 2021 (Week 7, Day 54, Flower 5): Soil is still moist - tilled half inch of topsoil. Overnight it appears Gelato 1 and Unknown 2 are doing their damnedest to catch up with Unknown 1 - they both grew about 2". Plants are looking great and are definitely starting to stretch! Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. February 28, 2021 (Week 7, Day 55, Flower 6): Top soil is pretty dry, but the pots are still heavy. I'll hold off watering for a day or two. The last 24-hour period I think I saw the biggest difference in the plants so far. Each growth stem stretched a ton on each plant, but at varying degrees. The canopy is suddenly uneven, but I think trying to keep everything even at this point will be futile. I will let them go and install the SCROG net soon if the colas start growing too differently from one another. The stipules on every plant tripled in length overnight so I think the plants are definitely getting with the new 12-hour schedule. All the plants are starting to shoot off tons of pre-flowers and pistils now. They're in the swing of things now. Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. March 1, 2021 (Week 7, Day 56, Flower 7): Soil is dry but pots still have some weight. Will probably water tomorrow. Plants are looking fantastic. Canopy is stretching all over the place. Averaging 50% rH and 70℉. Looking forward to next week! Hopefully we'll start to see some flowers poking through soon!

As of day 14, the Blackberry Kush is still exhibiting it's abnormal leaf growth. I've only ever seen this on another genetically purple strain, so I am curious if there is a connection. If anyone has seen similar issues in their own plants let me know! It's growth hasn't been too bad, and I am sure it's going to continue to take off over the next week! I usually top my plants between day 14 and 21, so i am hoping it is growing vigorously enough to prevent any stunting. I haven't seen any adverse effects from temporarily switching to my plentiful dry cal-mag, so I am happy about that so far! I am still adding a similar EC worth of Cal mag (.5) so it's good to have dialed in a rough equivalent. I hope everyone is staying safe, and happy growing! 👍🌱 Day 15: the leaf growth continues to be very screwy, and even if it's at least partially a genetic issue I continue to triple check all my practices and parameters. The PH drifts up mildly in my reservoirs between cleaning/remixing of nutrients, but it is going from roughly a 5.8 up to a 6.2 (at worst) with no change in the EC/PPM. Between the lack of EC drift and lack of smell, I don't think there are any major bacterial issues. The outflow PH is also acceptable (5.8) and the outflow EC is around .2-.3 above inflow, which is also acceptable. I dug into the coco a little bit, and the medium is not oversaturated with water (it is always a bit "fluffy" with good drainage and never compacted) and the roots are white and healthy. With the healthy vigorous growth of the other Blackberry in the same conditions, it brings me back to this being at least partially a genetic issue. I looked through grow questions of other diaries for similar leaf issues, and it seemed that most were either blueberry or blackberry strains from a range of breeders. This could be purely a coincidence, but it does make me wonder. The grows with similar issues seemed to otherwise have no commonalities in how they were grown. I am going to keep trying my best with this plant regardless, so I hope it pulls through alright! Day 17: being very careful with my PH and keeping it a bit lower, to rule it out as a possible cause of the twisted leaves and less vigorous growth. I am keeping it between 5.5 and 6 for the time being to make sure there is no lock out of micro elements like boron. As per the comments, I am being more accurate be using a pH pen as opposed to drops which I may have misjudges. I topped the plant, which is definitely a risk! But I am hoping for some healthier leaves to come in, and the plant hasn't stunted so far! It has grown the number of nodes it should have for its age, it just not as filled in and lush as I would like it to be. Day 19: I have been monitoring PH especially carefully, taking a few measurements per day and keeping it between 5.6 and 5.8 (a little on the low side). The runoff is consistently under 6 as well. EC and other conditions have stayed where they should be as well. I reduced any PH drift by running the air pump for the res 24/7, instead of just for mixing and before fertigations to rule that out. But I haven't seen any overall improvements for the leaves so I am reverting back to my theory of a genetic issue with this particular plant. It's growing larger and it's stems are thickening, so I'm just going to keep it growing as well as I possibly can and see what it yields!

Day 35 (day 1 flowering): Wow these ladies kick into flowering early. thankfully they have allowed me time to get them spread out. Today was a last attempt at getting them into their own space fornwach growing tip. even the lowers have been encouraged to join the party for the stretch period. Bring it on , we are ready !. lol The Mimosa lemon has really got busy the last week and her transition for flowering should be very positive with her l.s.t set up. She has so many growth tips that are joining the vertical climb. she is still very workable but is hardening up more now. I definitely notice the lack of using silicon fornthese so will start tonadd it early on I think. Seeing how well she filled the pot is a bonus too. she will be a good producer I think . she is at The edges of the 30L pot now and will be held there until late in flowering. Once she hits 21 days , I will defoliate her along with the Glueberry. The Glueberry is a thicket of new growth and hopeful main buds. The stems are so thick that she is nearly unworkable. with the breakages to her 4th node , I am hoping to keep her stress below snapping point till the finish. She has some serious thick mains fighting for the top slot and i expect a beasty of a flowering girl. Having g just hit the flowering , I hope to use the stretch to get her set up better. seeing her clumped up makes me nervous. Her structure is similar to a manifold but less planned that way. lwrs see what she does. be well.

I'm clearly going to have some tucking and training ahead of me again this week...For anyone who wonders if heavy defoliation is detrimental - last week these plants were almost totally stripped and were ALL pulled back under the screen - and I'd said that you'd never know they were bare. Well, here we are a week later and we're pretty much doing the same thing again! I'm blindly hoping to avoid tucking much more. The screen is full and the girls are powerlifting it off the floor - we'll have to get some weights on to keep the canopy level, but what do we really expect from Bruce Banner?? I've also got my fingers crossed that we can manage the rest of the stretch with defoliation, though that's probably unlikely and we'll be working a very full scrog and tent for the next few weeks (based on some diaries it's about 4 weeks of stretch before they settle into a solid budset - I wish I had read that before vegging the screen to 80% capacity!

Day 35 Shes really stepped up in the last week... look at her size😅 If i had some more space in the tent i think shes get even wider. Shes starting to show some pistils, wonder how much more she will stretch.

Flowering day 70 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. So just a quickie for ya, Maria is two weeks into flowering and she has slowly started to show the signs of the tentacles (le-tenticle'). She has also shot up about 15 cm taller than she was (WOW!). Using LST to try keep all the branches a little further apart from each other- just gentle bending.

This week the GMO cookies is just blew up. Started the week with a transplant to 1gallon pots. An the took to it very well to it. both ended w2 at 6in & 7in tall. Hand watering 300ml daily to these girls at lights on.SF light set to 35% @ start of this week. With a 60-65% humidity level.

we improvised with threads the mesh was badly placed but everything served and fulfilled its function, now the leaves have grown again and the mini jungle is re-formed, we really liked how the previous pruning turned out although aggressive to the plants it did not affect them they recovered almost instantly, and it works in our favor because of the space, so this is already the end of the second or the beginning of the third week, in the next one I will upload the pruning and everything as it is already at the end of almost the 3rd week of flowering, at least of the larger, the others, as you know, are 2 to 3 weeks apart, so for them it is 1 or 2 weeks of flowering, which is noticeable in their development. the risks that are written down in the diary are the fertilizer once a week, and 1 3.5-liter drum or a gallon is used, which is divided into the 2 largest and another equal gallon with a different proportion for the 5 smallest , in the newspaper it is written down of the great ones.

Got a dehumidifier it’s reading different from what mine controller 69 is saying but I have it set at 40% it’s the lowest so it’s going pull humidity regardless right now it’s about 53% which is okay would like it to get down to the 40’s I also changed the light schedule today to 20/4 the humidity raises at in my tent when lights are out so I figured change it to 20/4 instead of the 18/6 I’ve been running so if humidity does go over it won’t be for as long as before hopefully this works just trying to avoid any mold situation So far the Amneisa Haze 2 is at stretching she’s going be big I can but the haze 2 is done seems to just be flowering the sour diesel is looking good as well so far I’m happy with its looking like left town for two days and the auto watering pots worked!
