5/11 - Started the "flush" this week! Making it as easy as possible on myself and just using straight tap water to fill the res', and guess what?! I installed the new AC Infinity 6" in-line fan, and it's finally allowing me to keep the tent closed while maintaining an optimal environment. Smell begone!...until I open the tent, that is. The tester nug I clipped from the other week is losing the hay smell, and looking like the frostiest bud I've ever seen. Everything is looking like a 5/16 harvest! Do I seem excited?! I am!! I'll add some pics later today when the lighting is better. Funny how I now have the optimal setup with only a week left to go. Excited to utilize it for the next round though!
5/16 - Y'ALL!!....Y'ALL!!!!!! Attention, please! I have a very important announcement. It is time for Helen to go on to the next life. To commemorate this historic and paramount moment, I am uploading my first video and some amazing (iPhone) pictures (if I do say so myself). As a first-time grower, but loooooonng time cannabis enthusiast/consumer, I still cannot believe I grew this amazing plant. In fact, I am now writing this entry after having vaped part of the tester bud, and let me tell you, I almost cried tears of happiness after the high sank in -- it's phenomenal. The taste has a hint of lemon, lime, earthiness, dominant pine, with a menthol exhale. The effect is very cerebral (as expected for an early harvest), but relaxing. I feel a wave of calmness flow down my body and a nice pressure around my eyes and sinus (which is usually stuffed). I hope she doesn't mind me sharing, but I thought it was touching (and humorous) that my gf legitimately started crying when I told her it was Helen's time. It's ok, she will be remembered and honored over the next several months, and ages to come.

Sunday last day of week 11 expecting to cut it down fed banana, molasses, and honey for a final flush with ice, Friday final ice flush. In the dark for 12 hours then cut down for harvest

Esa familia, estamos de vuelta, actualizando la 4 semana de floración de las Zkittalicious de Exotic seeds.
Y de primeras , estoy sorprendido con la velocidad y el ritmo de floración de los 2 ejemplares, son muy rapidas.
Están repletas de tricomas y ya empiezan a brillar, las flores están engordando y formándose perfectamente, tanto colas principales como colas laterales.
La verdad se ven bastantes flores estoy muy contento.

Las maximas de temperatura no superan los 26 grados y las mínimas no bajan 20, así que no me puedo quejar.
Los niveles de humedad también son los correctos van entre 50%/65% de humedad relativa.
Por supuesto el Ph lo estamos dejando alrededor de 6.

Flipped to 12/12 today at day 52. Defoliated alot and pinched almost every top. Lets see how much they stretch.
Another defoliation in 2 weeks , will also topdress then.

Things are looking very nice! I’ve top dressed and defoliated here and there. Lots of frost coming in as things are starting to stack and take shape.

Well...that escalated quickly...she's stretching and stretching i was worried i'd run out of space. I started using 'bends' to supercrop some of the primary tops to level out the canopy.
Upped the PPM to 700 and she didn't like it again. The PPM increased after three days so I backed off and decreased it to 600. Not sure if it's the nutes collecting at the bottom of the res but i moved the meter around.
Added some Zyme as I had some sample capsules - Hopefully will benefit her.
Everything looks fine so far and doesn't seem to be any deficiencies.
Timelapse is over the course of 11 days - final timelapse is day 25 of flower..

Hello Diary.
It has completed its sixth week of flowering, a total of 9 weeks since Purple Punch sprouted.
As you can see in the photos, the plants look beautiful, the flowers are large and hard, full of trichomes. I believe the yield will be better than I had hoped. The smell is very intense.
I would also say that Purple Punch is quite resistant, along with them, as you know on "Farm", there is also one plant Watermelon Auto that has suffered a lot due to over-feeding, which cannot be said for Purple Punch.
The treatment they receive is the same.
Watering is every three days, I regulate or lower the p.H of water to values between 6.1 and 6.5. And I do that with every preparation of water for irrigation.
I stopped adding any additives the previous week so they get clean water.
Let’s take a look at the review of the week.
26/03/2021 - Day 59.
Watering. p.H. water I regulated to 6.4
Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 32% humidity.
29/03/2021 - Day 62.

-Our subjective and objective are going to get a little boring these upcoming weeks ):
We were worried about frank not filling in (or at least I was) but everything is looking beautiful. We took 10 clones from B and 9/10 have rooted, cannot wait for that grow.
Our scrog has filled out very nicely and we have nice spread out plants, still baffles us that they are only 8 inches apart from the top of the bucket to the scrog level.
Everyone should keep a look out for when we introduce Project- Red Tide

Week 6 of flower, the buds are fattening up and triching out. The terps are super sweet and very potent smelling. I haven't seen very many nanners or balls lately, but I have seen them popping through the buds occasionally. I still inspect daily, but some days I don't find any, so I hope it won't give me too many seeds. I did notice that the bud that gets the most intense light has started having tips pointed upwards and flipping its leaves. I attributed this to heat stress, so I moved that light over bit.
Day 38 update: this last week I was only watering with distilled water and the yellowing has progressed, so I assume I was right about the nitrogen deficiency noted a couple weeks back. Today I top-fed with a homemade fast acting high nitrogen organic fertilizer, we will see if this helps. Also nothing in my current flowering feeding regime has a lot of nitrogen, so I think this will likely solve the problems. I have also decided to give them an extra 15 minutes darkness for a total of 13.25 hours darkness, 7.5 minutes extra on each end, tell them its almost time to finish with ~4 weeks left.
Day 40 update: still been pulling herm balls and nanners off the big one, the others seem to have stopped, but i still check them daily. Gonna be slightly seeded for sure, but I hope not too much. Also, the yellowing seems to have been managed after that nitrogen feed.

Not impressed with how much is on it and Buds are smallish compared to my other photo grows. Looks more like an auto. Great levels of frost but disappointed with both Plants. Expecting more from its great linage. To be continued....
Bubble hash review : most probably used 2oz of trim and all the sugar leaves. Looks an easy oz and if so that's a banging return. Will update when dry 👍🏻

Timelapse! I've meant to get a timelapse camera set up since I first started this grow. I am reasonably confident that future weeks will include full-week timelapses.
For most of this week, my plant has seemed to have stopped growing. It got to a point where the leaves were becoming wilted, which prompted me to add nutrients. I was a bit skeptical regarding whether it was a good time to do this, or if I would be adding nutrients prematurely. All has seemed to have gone well with the nutrients, as the next day the leaves perked up substantially.
Mid week, I changed the light schedule form 18/6 to 20/4 because I figured more light would enable better growth.
Currently, I am puzzled as to why the leaves have developed some light and dark splotches. Could this be a result of light stress?

Thanks to those who have responded to my leaf spotting question! I have raised the light from 18.5in (I never measured it until now) to the recommended 24in.
There is no chance of nutrient solution getting on the leafs to cause the spotting, but I did spray the tent with water + (dilute) hydrogen peroxide in an attempt to raise the humidity. Maybe this is the cause?
I am currently battling the relative humidity. As someone mention, it is low! If i plug in my room-humidifier, the humidity will get way to high (80%+). I've placed an open container of tap water + hydrogen peroxide mix in the tent, but it doesn't appear to do much!
I'd like to note here that I am using liquid indicator drops for my pH, so the pH is only my best measurement at the time of mixing solution. My pH may not be as low as I indicated this week!
I think I'll throw in some tap water in lieu of cal-mag supplements,. I figure my city's hard water may be of benefit here!

Im Großen und Ganzen bin ich zufrieden mit meinem ersten Grow. Ich freue mich jetzt auf die Endphase (Wie lange wohl noch bis zur Ernte? 1-2 Wochen?) und in meinem Kopf spuken schon jede Menge Ideen für meinen nächsten Grow.

The buds become thicker! Otherwise, not much happens; the first leaves are fading and the plants show phosphorus deficiency (purple stems and a few brown spots) and possibly also potassium deficiency (stretched leaves). At least that's what I suspect.
I now look at the trichomes every day. Today I spotted the first brown ones. It's going too fast after all. Today the youngest plant is 7 weeks old, the other two are 2-3 days older. According to the data sheet, Quick One needs 8-10 weeks. Was I too frugal with the fertilizer? Do I need to pay more attention to the pH value in future and possibly also bring the EC value into play?
All in all, I'm happy with my first grow. I'm now looking forward to the final phase (how much longer until harvest? 1-2 weeks?) and I already have lots of ideas in my head for my next grow.

I started Flushing two plants as there nearing the end of there days. I'll start Flushing the others this week apart from the kalimist indica pheno as it started flowering 3 or so weeks after the others even though they were all forced together. (alkward bugger)
Some of the plants are showing red /purple colours a little bit 👍

Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are right on time for a small adjustment in lighting, PH and nutrients. 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) and the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work. Starting at a PH of around 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights increased to about 70% brightness.
Day 9 - Cheech is taking nicely to the adjustment in light and nutrients, but CG 1 is looking a little bit too perky. Going to give her 24 hours to adjust.
Day 10 - We have finally renamed CG 1. Fellow enthusiasts, meet Venezia.
Day 12 - The root systems are clearly visible in the ladies today
Day 13 - The ladies are looking well today. Venezia seems to be showing some light signs of heat stress with slight curling of the leaves. The lights are due to be adjusted tomorrow to account for the seedlings growth over the last week.

Starting this week off again with some nighttime flashlight shots!
For their growth, i cant say anything i havent said before, they keep being fast, they keep being awesome, they keep on swelling. Colors are also a treat for the eye, their yellow pistils contrasted by the purple buds, supplemented by the nice green fan leaves. I might even look over the clawing on some leaves and the starting nute burn ;D
Staying with nutes, i turned down growth from 3ml/L to 2ml/L for both waterings this week, and ramped up topmax to 2ml/L for the second watering. They still received 2.5L both times, but both are starting to uptake a little less watering, leading me to probably give 2.25L or just 2L the next time, and i will probably wait a day or two more in between waterings. But we will see.
I defoliated both on Day 53 pretty aggressively for my terms. This will also probably be the last time i did that, i like how they look now. Maybe some minor leaf-removal if some leaves look at me funny, but probably nothing id call "defoliation" moving forward.
Also, some pistils started turning brown. I will, out of curiosity, start checking trichomes, and upload the pics/videos later this week when i will add the usual weekly timelapse.
Also also, im still super happy with them.
Later this week, here i am adding 3 more shots of both plants and a budsite, and the ever so important timelapse to finish week 8 off. See you next week!
