That was the most difficult week. It was very cold and rainy, the humidity of the air reached 90% at most, but without sequels, thank God. On day 63, I defoliated and she is strong, fat and definitely smells like cheese.

Day 35! One week from transplant and we started our first LST which was topping today. After topping we watered with recharge to help combat any of the stress woes.

Flowers continue to stack

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! Day 35-42 (June 4th - June 11th) (Day 36) After it stops raining I’m going to amend some 2 gallon pots and get some of these clones planted. Tuna recovered nicely from topping. The wind keeps impaling the slurricane leaves on the mini garden stakes. If everything goes to plan, I will be transplanting all the slurricanes and tunas into 5 gallon fabric pots on the 21st. If they recover nicely I will flip them on the 30th. (Day 37) It’s looking like I fucked these autos up pretty bad with the hot soil mix and low night temps. It was a dumb idea to sow directly into amended soil. I guess I’ll just leave them and see if they can push through the nutes. The 4 meatbreaths I’m going to transplant into 3 gallon smart pots in a few days. They won’t be transplanted into their final containers until the 10th of next month. (Day 39) God I wish this rain would fuck off soon. I want to get some of these clones transplanted but can’t in the rain. Forecast says sun for the next few days then more goddamn rain. None of these plants are liking these low night temps. It’s currently 6 degrees (42f) which is guaranteed stunting. Zone 3 problems..... I honestly should have waited a little bit before planting the autos too. (Day 41) Weather finally let up. Got all of these clones and meatbreath’s in their new homes and looking happy. (Day 42) The gelato 33 autos are definitely doing better than all the rest for some reason. Grapefruit, Dr seedsman and exodus cheese haven’t even pushed their second set of leaves yet. Their containers are definitely too hot for seedlings but I will just leave them and hope they recover. Maybe the gelatos are just heavier feeders. Next year I’m going to establish the autos in coco before I put them outside. Or just start them outside in coco and transplant.

So #3 and #4 were selected by me to go into the flower tent(video) and the other 2 are going to veg longer and get 5 gal airpots for their turn in approx 4 weeks, as soon as my autos are done and 3+4 are halfway done.

Watered with Real Growers Recharge and moved the main air circulation fan out to blow cooler air in. Tucked and tied down some larger leaves to allow for better light penetration to lower sites. I topped a few of the lower branches (couldn’t help myself) and have good regrowth so far!

Cooled off a bit, trellis has been great! I made it modular so I can just slide it up the supports and she grows. It has really helped develop a nice even canopy and will help with support in the long run. Seen a few ants and aphids, nothing major, may up the Lost Coast sprays to every 5 days. Heavy top dress of homemade screened compost mixed with Gaia Green 70/30 AP/PB. All in all super happy with this strain, very easy, uniform growth. My other 7gallon same time/strain is 2 weeks into flower, but hates being contained, unlike this girl. Love the early flower in a smaller pot with the same strain to really see how she flowers.

This poor, sad little girl. I feel bad for neglecting her earlier on. But hopefully she will live up to her namesake and persevere! (I guess it is a little messed up that the strain is Widow Remedy and I killed both of her husbands😕) Anyway... So bugs suck, and I sprayed with some neem oil and put out a sticky trap. Fertilized with some of the Coast of Maine and watered it in with some lime water. Heat wave is moving through right now, I hope she likes it hot😎 Forgive my slurred speech in the video, it's been a long week and my brain is addled😜
