pH was important as expected and a bit of light burn later on in the grow but ultimately it was pretty smooth sailing. I used a very common nutrient (GHE) and not overly strong. Buds were thick, dense, and moderately pine smelling. The plant did not grow excessively tall thanks to LST, and the LST did not seem to have any ill effects at all. Foliage was thick, and I let it go for a very long time before doing any sort of defoliation. Even then it was modest and just to get light to the lower colas. Still in trimming mode and will continue to update :) Also, other plants in the house got spider mites. Not this one. Could have been that it was in hydro and others weren't but hard to say.

Leider musste ich jetzt schon eine Woche früher ernten da eine meiner Katzen auf die Zeitschaltuhr gekommen ist und die Ladys die letzten Tage zwischen durch ne Stunde Licht hatten. Hab sie jetzt 48 Stunden im Dunkeln gehabt. Eine große Bud ist leider geschimmelt bei der kleinen im 8L Topf. Werde nochmal ein Update wegen Gewicht etc. geben.

Day 35 Flowering: Hi Growmies, hope we are all well and in the green. The Exotic ladies have been displaying their skills this week and fan dancing to this beautiful set of buds now filling the spaces. The smell from them is definitely identified as mango now too. #1 is fattening out her buds all the way to below the canopy tops too. She isnt the biggest in height but is pushing out some very nice thick buds sets #2 is the biggest of the 4 Mango cream with a chunky nice looking mainstem that I tried to avoid forming. She had other ideas I think. The side growth is just as impressive too with fat colas forming nicely #3 is the odd one of the bunch. She is between the two lights and lifted higher than the other 2 the same age but smaller in general. she looks way more mature than the other plants too which is odd. Her colours are really showing through like finished buds tend to look pre chop. She smells so strong of mango too. still with at least 4 weeks to go it will be interesting to see how she matures further.. #4 is at day 28 flowering and has pellets as her feednin the medium. She looks a little rough and nowhere near as healthy as her sisters do. signs of mg deficiency are heavy too and I am using the bloom element that is with the pellets now too. I thinknthe pellets have finished being of use now and might have to get her in mx after all. Her buds look OK but need some powering now from the greenery stores. All in all things are going well with these ladies and I can only imagine how good they will harvest now. Be safe growmies ***UPDATE DAY 39 MAJOR DEVELOPMENT*** A major development in the ripening of one of the mango cream girls. #3 has reached full maturity!!!! I thought she was developing very nice colours and a texture similar to harvested wedding cake strains I have done. as she was still really early in flower and in a small pot , I assumed it was something to do with this that had accelerated her a little in some way. Seeing her trichromes under the scope and seeing amber ones today has me convinced she is done already at 39 days in flower only. Wow thats a fast flowering for a plant of this size too. I have not seen any do this before except a barneys farm Blue gelato that hermied at week 3 flower with perfect seed pods and very mature flowers lowndown . i am leaving her a few days more to see exactly what she does but will keep you posted. Happy days.

A really fun grow comes to an end, the result is more than impressive from this strain. I grew a few critical cross autos in hydro, they all have their typical grow strength, especially at the beginning of flower but this one stood out. Started "normal" and then just didn't want to stop anymore and that with a very basic feeding regime. This strain can take stress and nutrients, what you get in return is some purple flowers that smell so amazing that you ask yourself why you are not only growing this strain :P I made some ice water hash from it and it was such a beautiful smoke. The potency is quite impressive in this one, it seems a lot of growers are to focused on THC levels but terpines decide where your high goes, this high is great and compared to other strains with a much higher THC numbers the purple queen auto can easily compete. The smell and flavor is super floral and fruity.

Glookie Bomb did great from Bomb seeds. Very sweet earthy smell. Lots of frosty goodness. I cut her, and will be hanging for 24 hours. Then I will trim fan leaves off, and put her in the cannatrol for 8 days. Once done I will do a final trim, and be back with smoke report. She grew great with the Spider Farmer SE5000, and in the Athena blended line of nutrition. 10th week of flowering: week from 23/10 to 29/10 This is the last week of flowering for this strain. Unfortunately here in north eastern Italy the outdoor climate isn’t so kind in this period. So even If I wanted to let them mature a bit more, the temperature at night goes to 10°C. It hasn’t perfectly matured, but that’s what I have. I noticed some trichomes have lost the head or sphere at the top. I read that’s due to low temperature, so I see myself forced to harvest it now. Also it’s better to get them out the rain since bud rot and mold are still spreading in some branches.

Pretty much the same state as last week, plants growing well, still have the runty Pink Kush plant but its pushing flowers out well and getting some good colour to it. Red Pure plants are growing great though one of them has some leaf spotting but its not seeming to hinder growth. Nutes same as last week, only watering when I get a full finger-depth of dry Coir and checking with soil probe for pH and Moisture too, getting a regular pH7 in the soil, I've got some pH Down to add a drop into my tap water just to ensure I'm watering with the right pH.

One of the plants turned out to be male. Another one turned out to be herma. I don't think it was my fault, there was probably something wrong with the seeds. I took them both out of the cabin. We continue on our way with the remaining two plants. It was a stressful week.

Day 64: Second Grow We’re now in the fifth week of the flowering stage, and the buds are getting thicker by the day. We’ve decided to order a microscope to keep a closer eye on the trichome development. Additionally, we’re considering ordering CANNAZYM, a nutrient that could help our buds grow even bigger and healthier. Here’s to another week of growth and progress!!

Both plants are thriving. The mimosa still growing fast despite the fact it was burned by the light. The bourbon berry is trying to keep up with the mimosa plant.

Pulled her out of the tent with a 10% amber trichomes, she’s megga frosty and sticky . Bit different this one from others of grown but uniquely brilliant. Buds are dense as anything , and from the sneaky smoke I had she’s potent as . I’ll add some more pics once I’ve trimmed the buds up and got em hanging.

The addition of an enzyme has produced amazing results that were shocking and worrying at first. Massive rise in EC and PH every 24 hours from 5.3 - 6.8. Research yet no sign of any harm to the plants, in fact they seem very happy! The enzymes has created an environment friendly to the beneficial microbes and fungi that has lead to a feeding frenzy (Which wouldn't have happened ad I used Hygrozyme from the start.). EC rises a point or two as the microbes and plants expel waste and create a plethora of negative charged hydrogen ions. Thus, the PH rises. Never above 6.8, strangely. Because the microbes are eating and shitting so well, they have added a lot of chilated nutrients that are easier for the plants to uptake at a wider range of PH (Yes, some as high as 6.8). The fact that there are so many bunches of calyxes sprouting and exploding, filling in the flower space is proof enough for me. Only water for the past week being added to reservoir after nutrients..... Huge intakes... Very big plant.. Very big Buds... I have no idea what the weight will be... But it will big lol... Fucking awesome... All grown with Cheap leds lol well relatively cheap about 400 CAD all said and done on all the lights.. Full 1000 ppfd coverage on this plant with some extra ... There is a method to the madness. Foxtails are genetic related.. As they are present on all parts of the plant. The very tips of all big colas have been circumcised and my buds are all Kosher Now lol. No it helps make for fatter colas and stops some of the long and spindly look from happening.. I'd love to explain to everyone in great detail why the tip clipping is a cool idea especially with a foxtaily strain but if you can't figure it out.... not worth explaining..
