Not much happening this week. WPM treatment worked like a charm and they are looking great. Flipping the lights and installing the netting in next 2-3 days just trying to hold out for some equipment to show. Adjusted ties a few times throughout the week and canopy is kept even. Gave #1-3 another round of defoliation on day 4, last one before flip. Plants really filling out tent now. Grew 4" this week, looking nice and healthy for the flip. Extended my tents exhaust to 18' and temp/humidity still holding as set.

She seems to be overfed, showing yellowing here and there. Also other has some leaves have brown spots. I might have messed up the Ph because I did not adjust the Ph of nutrients mix. I assumed it was ph corrected. Now, I am adjusting the Ph and reducing feeding. Let’s hope that she recovers next week.

I changed the reservoir and set the pH to around 5.3 and reduced the nutrients by 5ml/g. I just realized I've been adding far far fewer nutrients than I thought. I've been using 30ml in a 5 gal bucket (probably 4.5g volume) but I should be using 30ml/g so 4x as much. I'm going to leave it for now but I should probably start adding more nutrients. I took the wires I was using for LST off the bucket so it isn't stressed during flower and so it's easier to change the water. I'm taking off fan leaves that are blocking bud sites if I can't tuck them away. It grew a crazy amount today, so many little pistils came out. It's an exciting time. July 10 she thirsty. I added half a gallon of water and a full 30ml of each nutrient. That should bring us close to half the recommended nutes. I'll probably change the full res out and give 3/4 nutes sometime this week and go up to full strength next weekend if everything looks OK. https://www.remonutrients.com/calculator/ I just looked at my chart again and I think I was right the first time. I just added more nutrients for no reason. I added another half gallon of water and checked ppm and pH. Ppm is 1050, pH is 5.8. Gonna keep an eye on it through the day and see what happens. 305pm pH 5.8 ppm 1200 July 11 pH 5.8 ppm 1300. I'll add some plain water after the res goes down a bit more. Looks like the plant isn't using all the available nutes and is probably leaching some. She looks good though. Loads of vertical growth over the past week, now really going hard making bud sites. I'm going to see how this nute situation goes before doing any major defoliation or pruning. Leaf temp was 29 on the central cola so I turned up the fans and raised the light a bit. July 12 ppm down to 1200, pH still 5.8. Looks like it's going to be ok. July 13 ppm 1300 pH 6.2. I dropped an entire oscillating fan on my plant today. I broke 4 stems almost clean off. 3 appear to be surviving through duct tape and wire. The biggest one appears to be a casualty. I'm pissed. But the cabinet is coming together. Once it's perfect this kind of thing won't happen. I salvaged a piece of plywood yesterday and hand sawed the whole thing to fit as a door.

Day 43. One Blackberry is going for the roof. Both late ones are small and have 33 days to flower .... Ridiculous ... That run shouldn't happen. But I have at least 5 okeish plants and hope to push them with Mars SP3000 as extras, plus first wavers will be starting to fall , so more space and light .... Day 44. Two smallest girls should go and are going. I will create second proper grower this year already ! I gave to this guy 5 Alaskan Diesel seeds for this year to try to grow, but only because of time - I can't finish smallest two - so I will give them for my friend as well. One turn out not so bad from those 3 lategoers , so I hope 30 days of flower will be enough for her ... One Strawberry Banana looks like a magazine cover girl ! Day 46. Yesterday I kicked them out and it was frosty night, both went down , some branches froze ... It will be interesting ... These will be added back later as part of the mulch. --- Continued until the top 5-6 inches of top soil was loose and soft. --- The soil moisture felt great and smelled earthy with no foul odors. --- Also glad to find worms in all pots! - [18:03]: Time for the soil amendments! --- Top dressed: ------ 1/4 cup of Kashi Blend ------ 1/2 cup of Craft Blend ------ 2 cups of BuildASoil Worm Castings --- Sprinkled each amendment evenly. --- Using my fingers, gently tilled the amendments into the top few inches of soil. --- Also dug and loosened the center area. Made sure the area was deep enough for a solo cup and had some of the top dressing mixed in. --- Dug a hole and placed a solo cup into the center of the pot. --- Made sure the sides of the cup were tucked in and each cup has drainage holes. - [18:24]: Placed the larger roots as mulch. Spread the roots evenly. --- Placed the original straw mulch on top. - [18:33]: Placed the Ecowitt soil sensor back into the pot. --- Also re-connected the drip-ring rig. --- Set the pot aside for later. - [19:36]: Repeated this process for each pot. --- Alright all pots have been reset! --- Time for a bit of cleanup! - [19:53]: Cleaned the tent floor. --- First sweeped and removed the larger leaf debris. --- Then sprayed the floor with distilled water and let it soak for a bit before wiping with paper towels. - [22:48]: Placed all pots into the tent and connected the drip-rings to the auto-watering system. --- Also placed the floor fan back. --- Ca-Caw! Time to transplant both Heady OG (BX1 #1) and TKO into the (7-gallon) pots! --- Let's go! - [22:59]: Gently removed the left two solo cups from the fabric pots leaving perfect holes. ------ Sprinkled 1/4tsp of Great White into each hole, --- Dusted the sides of the hole. --- Also sprinkled a bit around the top soil. --- Great! Time to transplant! --- Going to start with TKO since she is going to be in the back left quadrant. --- It’s been a day since her last watering. --- To loosen the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom upwards. --- Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant and flipped her upside down. - [23:09]: TKO easily dropped straight out of her cup! --- Nice! Roots look healthy and white! --- Did not break up the rootball. - [23:15]: Gently placed her into the pre-inoculated hole (back left quadrant). --- Pressed and evened out the top soil. - [23:22]: Repeated this process for Heady OG (front left quadrant). --- Looking great my ladies! --- Okay! Time to water the new mothers and re-amended pots! --- Since most of the time these girls will be receiving straight RO water, going to water in a diversity of microbes to start off the initial breakdown process. - [23:57]: Filled a pitcher with 8 cups of RO water, ------ Added 1/16tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract ------ Added 1/16tsp of Beauveria Bassiana Plus ------ Added 1/8tsp of Recharge ------ Added 1/4tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/4tsp of Horticultural Coconut ------ Added 1/2tsp of Mycrobe Complete ------ Added 1/2tsp of WDG3000 Extra Strength BTI - [+00:04]: Mixed the solution before pouring 2 cups straight into a pump sprayer. --- Misted the solution onto the straw mulch of the back left pot. --- Tried to avoid spraying the solo cups. --- Repeated this process for each of the pots in the veg tent. --- Misted the straw mulch evenly. - [+00:22]: Done with the tent reset! --- All pots are fully re-amended and clones have been transplanted! --- The tent is ready for another veg cycle! - [+00:25]: Checked on the propagation dome. --- Growth is looking great! --- Heady OG cuttings have probably both rooted, but will leave them in the tray for a bit longer. The Heady OG (BX1 #1) mother is clearly going to survive and the genetics has been preserved. So going to wait to transplant the extra cuttings into solo cups at the same time. --- Did not mist the top growth. --- Opened the right side vent. Now only one vent is open. - [+00:27]: Oops! The extra mother plant cuttings still need to be placed into the tent. --- Earlier in the day, refreshed the RO water. --- Also while culling the mothers, took a few more cuttings from each to root in the cup. - [+00:35]: Instead of using the floor rack, decided to place the cup of cuttings on top of the propagation dome. --- Placed the cup on top of an upside-down drip tray. Each Coco Coin is about 1/4-1/2 inch below the top soil. - [20:59]: Added some BuildASoil Organic Straw Mulch to the top. --- Using the small straw bits at the bottom of the bag is great for solo cups. --- Time to water! - [21:15]: Filled a measuring cup with 2 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/64tsp of Beauveria Bassiana Plus ------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Coconut ------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/8tsp of Mycrobe Complete --- Mixed and poured the solution straight into a spray bottle. - []: Took the dry soil weight of each pheno before watering, --- To make waterings easier, marked each clone with A and B. ------ Heady OG BX1 A weighed 237.7g ------ Heady OG BX1 B weighed 244.4g --- Marked the starting weight on the back of each cup. --- While on a scale, --- Gently misted the straw mulch of each cup. --- Focused on the straw and sprayed as evenly as possible. --- Misted 5-10 sprays. Let it sit for a minute, then misted again. --- Repeated this process until each cup weighed at least 300g --- There was no runoff. - [21:40]: Took the weight of each pheno after watering, ------ Heady OG BX1 A weighed 300.3g ------ Heady OG BX1 B weighed 305.6g --- Also marked the wet weight on each cup. --- Placed each cup on top of the fabric pots on the right side of the tent (under drip trays). --- Done! - [21:43]: Back to the propagation dome. --- Misted the top growth with RO water. Also misted the lid. --- Then closed all air vents. --- Placed the spare mother cuttings back on top of the propagation dome (also refreshed the RO water). --- The clones on the pots seem sort of stressed. - [21:55]: Covered each clone with a clear solo cup. --- Misted each cup with distilled water (~2 sprays). --- Secured each cup with a bit of painters tape. - [22:19]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Tanks are still full and no leaks found. --- Another grow week done! --- Need to transplant more rooted mother cuttings next week into solo cups. --- Also need to clean-up the under canopy in the main tent. --- Onwards to next week Ensign! This week they got defoliated again like last week, rotated them and re arranged the net so they got nice canopy. Started using sugar royal and green sensation. The random seed turned out to be auto, and i thins she is a little faster, she thickened up faster, and already gluey so much i can't wash it easily from my hand. Note to myself: get some gloves I am very excited about both plants now, if anyone having any idea what strain is the random one, i'd like to hear your thoughts.

Left them to it l after 3 days in dark. I opened tent today like a jungle.proably should have turned sooner.

Dear Me, I had a Growers Nightmare, An Equipment failure around 21th of Jan,24. My 3X3 Mars Hydro Kit is IMPORTED from United States. it comes with a pretty powerful grow light FC-E3000. But Unfortunately it broke only after 1 weeks of usage. The Rotating knob stopped responding to dimming function. The push button only turns lights OFF/ON. And without having the ability to control the Light intensity I was left with nothing but 100% light, 400+ PPFD and 25+ degree Temp in my Grow Tent. Hence I Disconnected the Two of the Centre Light bars and Increased the Height to maximum at about 1.3 Feet from plants. This at times was showing between 230-300 PPFD but it now it's back at showing 400 here and there. At the very least the tent temperature is 23-24. I Contacted Mars Hydro notified that I'm in different Country and that I'm helpless and I can't basically send you the Unit for a replacement since I'd killing my plants at that point so please either 1) sell me a new controller stand alone unit to my country. I'll pay upfront. or 2) send me new unit and I'll send back as soon as fresh unit arrives and I swap the malfunction unit. I'll bear shipping cost upfront for both ways. But it's been like 3-4 days no conclusion we're still figuring out and yet to get to any conclusion. Hence I ended up placing order for a AC infinity 6 inch exhaust fan which comes with AC infinity 69 Pro controller( a separate unit that can connect to Mars hydro Grow Lights using RJ45 Cable Type B Connecter). It's cool how just one thing can add a whole Semi-Automation to Grow Tent Environment. Not gonna lie I did thought at this point that I had in fact made my tent buying decision in a jiffy without looking at all the other options. I hope Mars Hydro Fixes it provided that I had invested my faith in them with my money at around 1200 usd( Tent cost about 600 USD + about 600 in Shipping and import fee). Prepared Cal-Mag Buffered Coco-Perlite Mix for Coming week. Plants are already on a Light Feed Schedule with a 3 Part series by General Hydroponics. 1st Week Nutrients Diet Per Gal Water 2ml CalMag 1 ml micro 1 ml Grow 0.5 ml Bloom Ph-6.1 TDS - 277 UPDATE : 4 February : - I learned First week starts "After" the Cotyledons when first true leaves show up. Which means I've been actually in my first week only. Putting an end to my anxiety over my current plant sizes. Also, Mars Hydro replied with a humble gesture and decided to replace the dimmer at no Additional cost, They told me I could keep the faulty unit which means I don't need to spend money on returning it. and they're directly shipping to my country without any extra fee (a cherry on top). I'm yet to get the tracking but it should arrive at the very least sometime before I hit the Flowering. My first week plants look somewhat healthy despite a little light stress in the early stage. Although the Plants heights not been upto the desirable min. so far which is mostly because light was throwing too much ppfd in the early stages.
