A busy week again. White widow and x2 Renaissance are gone to the flowering room. Next week will be flipped lights for them. Veg room has one white widow and 2 Green Gelato, once ready all will be sent together along with some clones hopefully.

Welcome to my Damn Sour Diary sponsored by Green House Seeds. DAYS 71-75 Pre Flower Days 2-6 Turning out to be a cracking little plant. Has a lovely uniformed structure that I'm very pleased with. Very healthy lush growth. Has throw up a leaf with cal def. So applied a high dose of Cal powder feed, "deeper details in Diet". She's taken to her LST great. Haven't had to adjust. She's making some lovely tight colas. Can't wait till pre is over so I can get in there and open her up. Haven't touched her defol wise, as you shouldn't while in Pre Flower. All the hard graft was done during her prolonged veg. She has just 3 top nodes. And was pult to make her fill out, and I think I've saved this from what it could of been, after I messed around with her. She's a very reliant Pheno as is all GHS gentics. Diet: Short flowering powder is currently been used, "From GHF". 5-550ppm. Also, I noticed a cal def on 2 leafs, "can be seen from 2nd last pic from above at the back" . So, gave her a dose of Calcium Powder from GHF. 270ppm 160ppm/110ppm ambient tap. Also she's been introduced to Terra Powers Bud Starter Fortuna, adds like 50-70ppm to water. PH - Bloom from Advanced Hydroponics is used to level it out to the feed level. I don't adjust my tap, seems to pick up the PH of what it's coming behind so not needed. Also Fire Yields will be used from TP enzyme line along with a few others from their collection. "Bud/Resin/Terp enhancers. Not many. I'll chose 1 of each and make that my primary Enhancer in its class. The days of juggling 14nutes are beyond over. Also, I'll be getting Green Sensation from Plagron with a few others. And whatever can be used in this grow will be used. So upon picking out what I like from there. Next wk, I'll be adding the 25:30 PK BOOSTER from GHF also. Rasing the ppm by another 150ppm to start off with .15G/L. As is the Short Flowering .45grams/L for an extra 450ppm added to your ambient tap ppm No. LST Was finally applied more to this fine lady. I opened her up some. I nearly snapped of the biggest of the nodes. She broke half way deep inearly taking the end of the top of the stem. I tied the node to the stem, securing it in place. I checked on day 77 and she seems to be pushing through it. Wonder what impact it'll have on the bud making process for that side of the plant. I'll go back after pre and open her up with hard defol(s) 15-20% 2-3x over the space of a week. Lights SP 3000 was used for most of this grow. And the IR/UV45 has made for such a quick flip. 5 days is all it took for her to be fully showing pre flower. I started seen a full flip within 3 days. First week of heavier feeding, added Calmag & Bubblezym V2 and the day after they were very happy with it. Nice second week of flowering 🌸

I transplanted this week from the 3L into 20L round pots and moved them into a bigger tent (1.2m x 2.4m x 2m). I added two 200w LED lights to the 400 LED for vegging in the bigger tent. so I have total 800 Watts in total. I changed the switch to 12/12 yesterday 18/10/20 and changed the lights again (2) 600W LEDs and (1) 800W LED for a total of 2000W. Temperature is 40C I can't do much about this I am growing in a sealed room and I have the co2 between 2000-2500 so they can cope better with the high temperatures. Critical is an afghani strain so hopefully they are able to cope with the heat better than other strains. I don't use much of the nutrients listed I have them around from previous grows and use them rarely as I made a strong super soil mix. I use the Biosys and Mammoth P once a week. Everything is going well and plants look happy as Larry!

Last couple of days... No watering from today, (Day 129) and the light will be switched off as well from tomorrow (Day 130) so I will harvest them approx on Day 132 or 133 on the 18th week :)

She was not getting enough light outside. Given proper light and Sensi-Grow nutrients, she's growing like crazy!! Soon it will be time to start LST.

The soil gets a new cover with fresh brewed grass mulch. I brewed hay and 15L water for 48h hours under air bubbles by 23°C. The remaining compost tea would still be used for watering. Two days later I waterted with 1,5L sf nematoden. I gave Lady Strawberry a thorough pruning. It was the right decision. I found some hermaphrodite flowers in the shade. 27th jan: Topped and Started LST. Plants are looking fine. Expecting slowed growth. Looking to baby these plants with the LST not looking to break any stems so slow and steady wins the race, especially when you only have 2 plants . Minimal lollipopping as Im making sure to leave them bushy Im not sure if I have said this already but I abandoned the main-lining idea, good for when you have a lot of space but I need to keep it under 30cm for flower, I need that bushy plant as instead ill have lots of stem taking up space instead of colas. I might try mainlining next run. 31st jan: theres a possiblity I might have a 2 meter tall tent, in which case I really shouldnt be training these plants that hard. But im still training for 15cm until veg. #1 really hates me and is just trying to increase in height. (not stretching i dont think) So I upped my game and really took a few minutes to delicately tuck those leaves out. #2 im not sure whether its having a hard time recovering from the initial top, but it literally hasnt increased in height at all. Interesting 2nd feb: note: keep lights at 50-60 % through veg. Plants were 31c at 75-80% and started canoeing (heat stress) #1 seems to be vegging much faster than #2, probably the reason why it has developed some sort of deficiency. I assume potassium. #2 is a bit slower but seems perfectly healthy, seems to be growing out more bushy and doesnt really care about vertical growth. 3rd feb: added 60 grams of 248 (bloom 1) fertiliser to top dress for each plant over 1.5 liters per plant. This water also had some banana peels I let brew over 2 days. Not sure if it will do anything but we will see.

The three plants are doing well. Fat Banana with topping has recovered strongly and continues to grow. Fat Banana without topping is unstoppable. A little defoliation applied. 🌿 Week 5 Update: Breaking Dominance & Structural Shaping Grow Environment & Conditions Light Cycle: 18/6 Training Method: LST (Low Stress Training) Pest Control: Active monitoring via yellow sticky cards (No current infestations noted). Weekly Observations & Actions This week was all about manipulating the architecture of the plant. I’ve officially moved into the vegetative training phase to increase my final yield potential. LST Execution: I’ve applied 90° LST clips to the main terminal. By pinning the main apex down, I am successfully redistributing auxins (growth hormones) to the lower lateral branches. Stem Health: The main stalk is showing great flexibility. No "knuckling" or stress fractures observed at the bend site. Growth Response: Within 24 hours of clipping, the secondary nodes began turning upward toward the light source, confirming the break in apical dominance. Root Zone: Maintaining consistent moisture levels. The plant is currently housed in a smaller starter pot nested within the main container I’m keeping an eye on root-bound signals before the final stage. Nutrient & Water Log Feeding: Continuing with the base veg formula. pH Level: Stable at 5.8 – 6.0 (Targeting the sweet spot for coco). Runoff: Minimal, ensuring no salt buildup in the early stages. The "Kewpie" Guard 👶 The garden guardians are keeping a close watch. They seem to be providing +5 to "Vibe Stats."

Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. It's been very cold for around here this week. -10 c and it going down to -21 c with the wind chill. This week we will be going back to normal temps. The weather broke all sorts of freezing records for around here. I worked to keep the hummingbird feeders from freezing, (they need sugar water) and checked them hourly. This is the last week of food for these beautiful girls. I will flush with water with a bit of Hydrogen Peroxide in it. When the pots leach out their nutrients the reservoir water still has some ppm in it. The first week it will round off at 600 ppm. And the second week it will round off at around 300. So the plants will still get a bit of nutrients. But not what they are use to so they start bringing in the nutrients they have in the fan leaves and the leaves turn yellow. Have Fun. Chuck.
