Should of been done last week *shameface* now some of them are very top heavy and are starting to bend, this is also due to having my clones way to long to begin with. Let’s dive into all the details and talk about the key elements shaping this transition. 48 Hours Dark Period & Transition to Flower Before flipping to flower, we implemented a 48-hour dark period. In my experience, this technique helps the plants transition more smoothly and accelerates their hormonal shift into flowering. It’s a method that has consistently worked well for me, and I encourage growers to explore different approaches to find what best suits their setup. The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. Hello Growmies, Here we are at week 17 of flowering with our Northern Lights by Zamnesia, and the excitement is palpable. Let's dive into the updates from this incredible stage of growth. Our Northern Lights is flourishing beyond expectations. The buds are incredibly dense and continue to swell daily. This remarkable growth is a testament to the resilience and genetic quality of the plant.The trichomes are predominantly cloudy now, with a few beginning to turn amber. This is a crucial indicator of maturity and potency, suggesting that harvest time is approaching. The tent's aroma is becoming increasingly potent, a sign of the buds' maturing profile. I'm keeping the tent closed more often now to manage the strong smell. This intense aroma is a clear indicator of the quality and health of our plant. Looking back at the initial issues we faced, it's incredible to see how beautifully our Northern Lights has turned out. Her resilience and our adaptive approach have led to this stunning result. The EC level is now stable at 1.3, and she seems to be responding well to it. Over the next two weeks, I plan to gradually decrease the nutrient levels and then start the flushing process. So.... as you guys can see above i HAD to go brutal with this lady applying the "SuperCropping" technique, im not gonna lie that i was very worried since i had stress out the plant just a few day before this with heavy lollipopping and defoliation, but i had no other choice, the plant was still going up, no matter what hahah, she is a REAL BEAST, and it does not matter what i do she still want to be hugging the light hahaha, im FKD, but whatever lets see how this goes!! the recover was super fast, amazing how she just did almost not care at all with all the pinching and breaking of the stems and went right back up!! stay tuned

I use with her top crop complete mix .... she grows outdoor ... without any relevant information ... only her vegetation is slow ... it's autumn ... and the sun is not very strong ...

Kept tucking leaves and tried to fill up the canopy. Guess it's working out. We'll see. Any tips? I see a lot of buds developing, deep in the canopy. They seem to catch a fairly amount of light. In hindsight, could I have trimmed them more a couple weeks ago? Early on in the grow the two light hung closer together, therefore the right half of the tent got to much lighting before I replaced the light, further apart. I'm thinking this being the cause of the right half of the tent being lower then the left side. I'm hoping it will catch up.

Got a couple more days until day 56 (week 8) but just wanted to add a few things from this week. The flush is coming along nicely and getting some really nice colors to come out, Really excited for the finish. Just uploaded the day 56 pictures, shes looking beautiful!

Gelato this strain is really something special. Amazing smell, amazing taste, amazing terpenes really citrus cream bubblegum like. But beware of the smell, this is crazy it's to strong. Also this strain got so much frost on it. Both lady's had so much frost on it that I saved some good trim and made some nice bubble hash .

Getting a good spread on the canopy with LST. Added Recharge to the mix after defoliation.
