Hey guys, this other week went very cool, I start reducing the nuts to the minimum and I can see really how fattening are the buds. Now I can see some pretty milky trichomes, and just few cloudy, so I consider to chop in max 2 full weeks... (71 total days from seed) but anyway I'll adapt to how the plant is at that time. The smell it's absolutely, insanely strong and ill need to buy ASAP a carbon filter to reduce it. The only issue encountered in this grow was keeping low the humidity, and in fact I was not really able to do so as it stands at 55-65...but without noticing any mold issue on flowers. 🌸 Woche 5 der Blüte Die Early Skunks sind jetzt mitten in der Blüte und entwickeln sich richtig stark. Der Stretch ist so gut wie durch und die Pflanzen haben ein schönes, gleichmäßiges Blätterdach aufgebaut. Die Blüten werden von Tag zu Tag sichtbarer und setzen schon ordentlich Harz an. Das DWC-System läuft stabil: frische Nährlösung, klare Werte und die Wurzeln strahlend weiß. Genau so soll es in dieser Phase aussehen. Die Pflanzen nehmen sehr gut auf und zeigen keinerlei Mängel oder Stress – Farbe, Struktur und Wachstum sind voll im grünen Bereich. Das Klima bleibt konstant und das Setup arbeitet sauber zusammen. Licht, Luft und CO₂ greifen perfekt ineinander, wodurch die Pflanzen richtig Tempo machen. Fazit: Sehr starke Woche. Gesunde Pflanzen, satte Farbe, stabile Blütenentwicklung. So my sacrificial CF3 clone is in flower. I'm spraying her with silver now. The change is 3 weeks away. I have transplanted 9 of the 10 Citrus Farmer S1 tester's in some shitty soil. That's right miracle grow soil... with extra perlite. Because that is what a normal person would do, shop home depot and buy some soil. So let's see how this works out. #5 was chosen to be different. They all are similar all have had thrips and a fucked up regimen. All look like mom (CF3) too similar. But that is a good thing. I will decide who gets pollinated from here... #5 will get pollinated. The last few pics are of 2 CF3 clones I have going for fresh personal flower. They are starting to look nice.

Day 63: This should be the last week in veg. It might be a partial week...I'll make the call in a few days. I'm excited to see these babes flower!!! Day 64: Last night I saw what appeared to be signs of overwatering, so I turned off the humidifier and the temp increased immediately and today, they look just fine. I also raised the 150W LED on that side of the tent just a bit to reduce the intensity. This will be the last week for veg. I flipped the other tent, but these babes need just a little longer before flipping. Day 65: They looked pretty thirsty today, so I fed 1 gal of late veg nutes per plant. The soil was very dry according to my meter, so if I overwatered last time, they had plenty of dryness today. Day 67: I came home to near wilting plants! It had been 52 hours since last feeding and I've never seen them this thirsty during this grow. I watered 1 gal/plant again and GZ is showing the same signs of over watering again. The leaf color is fine with zero nutrient issues, so I suspect there may be a root problem. I don't know what else it could be? The photos are about 4 hours after watering. Day 68: The moisture meter showed bone dry again, so I watered a half gallon of water/cal-mag. I also decided to turn off the extra 150W LED sitting above her and just let the main LED do the work for now. Day 69: She was dry again today, so I watered a half gallon of late veg nutes and she's appearing to be recovering just fine. I think the heat in the tent might have been causing some issues as well, so good thing I turned off that extra light for now. Day 70: Last day of VEG!!!

Flowers coming along well, with frost now developing. Nutrient strength increased now they're gonna be eating a lot more. Remo grow reduced slightly now they're slowing their growth, but Bloom and AstroFlower have been increased to favour PK for flower development. Day 28 will be the last day feeding Growth Tech Liquid Silicone as it takes the longest to completely flush out of the plant. I never feed silicone later than this in flower otherwise you risk hard, black ash with a horrible burn in the end.. More leaves have been stripped here and there to slow growth and to allow the light to penetrate deeper, uncovering flower sites. Leaf stripping is a great technique to stunt the growth of selected branches, allowing the others around to catch up and meet the top of the canopy more evenly 🦊

Small review on the viparspectra v300 that I used, maybe it can be usefull If someone are looking for a budget light: Cons: -it's noisy! if you are growing in your bedroom or living room etc.. keep it in mind. -the spectrum it's poor, lot of blue n little red, no green, yellow, orange, uv etc.. -it covers a little less than what the vipar claim. Pro: -among the made in china's led is one of the best built and has a long and reliable warranty period. -it's really good for vegetative. -it's very cheap to conclude, it will grow your plant quite well but do not expect super results.

This week was really great except for some weather problem, cold is came a little bit earlier and i m still fixing something in the grow box. Roots are really large and strenght. Flowering started exactly in the 28 day. Let's go!

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle.
