Hey welcome back in the 5th week of flowering with the Dutch Passion’s Colorado Cookies. Last week my fan broke down and I had to order some new bottles of nutrients because the CannaZym and CannaBoost/accelerator had gone empty, but yesterday I received the nutrients and a new fan! Not to long anymore before harvest! I stopped giving the PK booster, from this week on I will decrease the nutrient values for the coming 2 weeks for the last week I will perform a flush (on most of them). The Brooklyn Sunrise and the other 2 Colorado Cookies just need a week or 2 extra. The one Colorado Cookie in the tent is producing so much trichomes/crystals, as you can see in the pictures I made some close up shots. I noticed that the buds start to get a bit to heavy for the plant which is good, volume of the buds is very dense. Thast it for now see you all back next week!

Hey everyone, Starting some CBD seeds to go along with everything else growing. Kinda making the best of what I have available, small little pop up greenhouse. Got some solar powered fans and run the humidifiers on a timer depending on heat and what not. Looking to be doing good so far, weather is crappy right now but should be better later this week.

first few days of LST

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Buds everywhere…the smell is also coming along. I gave her too much tiger bloom which is noticeable on her leaf tips but the benefits are worth it. I had an attack of the aphids trying to destroy the stem but I pulled out the spray and got rid of them. She takes training really well and bounces back from the pest attack quite nicely. I am also impressed with the way she leafed out after the defoliation.

Destiny has given me a wonderful climate so far but from the 18th the weather will change completely, precisely in the last 10 days of flowering which fortunately is very accelerated by the anomalous heat, especially at night. Typical late summer weather here, kinda for weed. First storm is expected on Saturday, I'm ready to protect them. I've made the last rearrangement of the tent, trying to give more room to the vigorous and overflowing Pineapple Kush so I've rised the roof to 110". The plants are all carefully sprayed with thyme extract to control mites infection, it seems to work, infection is stable from 1 week. I kill manually 20/30 bedbugs a day. During nighttime, maybe a monster grasshopper, is munching some leaves, at this point I don't care, I have to defoliate anyway and these bastards don't chew buds, for now. She's flowering fast now, I hope she will finish before October rains. Every side branches is thicker as the sister's main branch. Expected harvest time october 1st/2nd week. This will be a hard challenge to complete flowering without mold issues. If she doesn't gave to me at least 2lbs of weed, I'll kill her. She's moving along into flower and I've started using a little bloom nutes now that the stretch is tapering off. Took off a few fan leaves that were blocking some bud sites and removed some lower growth that wouldn't make much more than underdeveloped larf. She's definitely crowded in the tent, but she's continuing to go through her paces and should stay on track. She's starting to effervesce and it's a sweet earthy note with a more skunky stem rub. Lets see where this week takes us!
