CBD Blue Shark Day 21 - 2020.01.21: Hello friends, I'm sorry for being delinquent in commenting on this grow; I got hit by a car last autumn and I'm still struggling a bit with depression and anxiety (hence the weed!). Let me assure you that the Shishkaberry from last year was very helpful 😌 So to begin with I have to thank Barney's Farm for their great genetics. This week I started the regular fertigation schedule for the vegetative period. I'm getting very precise with the measuring of the nutrients, I'm using some industrial syringes for accuracy like Dr. Coco recommends. The TDS is high - I'm working on it. Next week I think they'll be ready to top to begin the HST. Alright gang, I'll close for now, with love. 😊

Hello Canna Fam, So the end of week 8 has arrived and the ladies have started to bud up😎 I did a bit of defoliation last night to the Six Shooter and the Girl Scout Cookies as they were very bushy. Hopefully I wasn’t too heavy handed with the plucking and the growth does not slow down too much. The LSD-25 and the Gorilla Cookies are the most developed in terms of bud size and trichomes production but the Girl Scout Cookies is closing in nicely. Hello Growmies, As we wrap up the first week of vegetation for our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, we've observed that despite being a mere seven days behind, these plants are making their mark with remarkable uniformity. They might be smaller compared to their peers, but they're growing with a precision that speaks to their strong genetics. Their identical appearances aren't just skin deep; from their symmetrical leaf patterns to their sturdy little stems, it's as if they were meticulously 'copied and pasted'. Their compact nature is a characteristic of their breed, suggesting a deliberate breeding choice for a smaller, more manageable plant. The same attentive care provided to their companions in the tent—comprising the Orca, Rhizotonic, and pH-ed water blend, administered every three days—has been extended to these youngsters. And they've responded in kind, with a vibrancy that promises much for the weeks ahead. Even in these early days, the Watermelon Candy plants are showing a resilience that bodes well for their continued development. Always cool to see what old school strains are all about. If there’s something experience has taught me is that classics are classics for a reason, and that’s the theme of this cycle. The germination was exceptionally fast, followed by the development of a thick stalk and huge broad leafs, this Gorilla surely started strong. Humidity and temperature kept fairly high throughout the week (70%/ 24°C), with regular misting, which they love! So far so good, feels like a happy and healthy seedling. Let’s see what she’s got 💪🌱

I removed the older leaves to help the plants focus their energy on fresh new growth 💪🌿 — and they’re loving it! 🍋 Fast Buds Lemon Zkittlez is smelling incredible — a sweet, fruity mix with that sharp lemon zest punch 🍬🍋🔥 🍇 Grape Wedding Force is stacking up with a strong, solid structure — it’s looking like a powerhouse in the making 💒🌲💥 🌶️💜 Red Hot Violet is coming along beautifully with a structure perfect for LST — can’t wait to see her stretch and train

These girls are packin! The most satisfying part of a grow for me is to see the fruits of my labour blossom into plump nuggets of dank joy! They are reacting to the flush in typical fashion. Phosphorus is running out of the fat indica fingers, creating a purple hue. The pheno on the left is a week ahead of the right side plant. At least. I could even see it going longer. Very excited for the range of effects in regards to sativa/indica ratio. A few amber trichromes here and there but the majority are developing a haze that will lead to the results seeking. Soon. We are almost there.

Week 7 Day 43 to 49 of flower I fed them half nute flush water this week. Feed this week was 1.25 gallons 1 time. I used 400ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). However, I also added .5ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and 7ml of Roots Organics HP2 (Aurora Innovations 0-4-0). PH balance this week was 6.3. Since P2 looked mostly ready to harvest I decided to dry out after the first feed this week. Next week is play by ear week. Currently day 48 I plan to harvest p2 tomorrow and leave p1 for another week. So I will feed p1 once more with the same half nute flush water feed that I used this week then let her dry out again.

01/09/2022 Finally time to flower, and all girls went into flower room at lights out.The males will be next week, don't want to put them in to early so I will carefully check every day and separate before they open their flowers. I'm guessing week 3-4 I Will select two branches on each female to selectively pollinate. 01/11/2022 Blue Matter #5 (update #5 culled male) repotted with lemon og seed Will continue in her own evolving diary. My hope is to eventually graft different cuts for a multiple variety mom plant, I can have 6 total plants And would be nice to be able to maintain only one mom.
