I am excited to try out this new gorilla cookies from fastbuds. I originally started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irritated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

I will always go organic from now! Especially using rqs nutrients had the best grow and the best outcome I’ve ever had! Dense buds all over and end weights matched that! And I didn’t even top it or stress it Too much! Wanted to see what happened if I just let it grow and I’m amazed! Royal queen seeds deserves the top place!

Not a lot to report this week. The leaf curl has diminished, and all the girls are looking pretty good! This tent is going to fill up quick, using the SoG. Let's see what happens next week!

8/8/24 New leaf growth starting to turn purple. Not sure if this is bad or not?! Buds are getting bigger

Haven't really been updating much as traction is low and I keep hella notes upstairs and on paper. Flowers forming, slight stretch began days ago. Looking and smelling good. May need to hook up the external RES with how massive the root system has gotten. Main stem is over an inch thick. She's drinking ALLOT and eating well. F Day19 - RES clean/change. Mixed 3gal M-4.6ml/g G-4.6ml/g B-6.6ml/g PH'd to 6.2 since it's been dropping last few days on its own and needing adjustment. F Day23- stripping day... added a goodmorning vid of the Booshberry prior to stripping it. Will update post pics/vid this afternoon.

Girls seem to be coming along nicely, color is uniform for the most part..I did notice a little cal-mag deficiency starting in the lower part of 2 plants, i bumped supplement up to 5ml/gal....

Hey growmies, another week and here we are. The flower structure as you can see in the pictures is crazy in this strain. Long colas l, filles with flowers. If this led fixture I'm using for the first time performs, im about to have baseball bats of weed. I'm hopping it knows there name is not only banana, but FAT too. The smells are sweet and fruity. The ec are at 0.95. 0.25 of the water plus 0.7. See you guys next week

2/12 Week 7 Hairs beginning to show up more each day and the growth tips are transforming. Continuing to encourage bushing by defoliating the top canopy every couple of days. Lots of bud sites in their future. Lowering Nitrogen by putting them on all Bloom nuets , prob should have done that weeks ago. 29 inches high no sign of slowing. No problems unless we hit 40 inches. Then I gotta think 😣 Don't see any reason to worry stretch should end in a week to 10 days or less and there are a few things I got up my sleeve. Actually these are the kinds of problems I signed up for and Ive nothing to complain about, this stuff is fun. 😁 Here's hoping for a big arsed harvest! I was asked why I am letting the lower end of the plants get so over grown. The idea is that this will slow down the upward growth and maybe get them to bush more later. When the room exists in the flower tent that will be cleaned up. Hitting them with the kangaroots again one last time in the morning to see if we can get those root balls expanded for bud building. 2/13 Pics Starting to get some height differences(less than 2 inches) between the plants under the LED and those under the HPS so I have changed the HPS out for a MH light to slow down the height gains in the flowering tent. Their nodes could use some shortening. Have other reasons but thats it for this grow. Hung a small 2700K 30 watt LED directly over Aeryn out of the path of the main light to give her just a bit more red spectrum. Not much but something. 2/14 Rearranged the tent to give better access to the photos and allow better hanging of the small LED and give a bit more light from the MH. Runoff tested on all plants and ranged from 550-600 ppm which just leaves us all kinds of room later for more nuets. Heck this is perfect 2/17 Stepping down the nuets slightly 2/19 End week note: Finally see some very slight nitrogen def on Aeryn so nuets back up, found the bottom end of of it. Folding in PK at a low dose Flipped week back to veg, only in flower the last day or so of the week

Probablemente esta semana también haga la poda apical. Día 14. Le hice el corte apical el día 10. Ya está recuperada y creciendo. Por el momento mantengo la solución. Mañana seguro ya cambio y le agrego un bioestimulante de crecimiento. Aún no fui a buscar las bacterias, pero esta semana tengo que ir sin falta. Ya voy a ir preparando la parte de arriba para cuando lleguen los esquejes. Pero una vez que corte, tengo dos semanas de enraizamiento. Por lo cual todavía falta. Pero ya está todo encaminado.

I added Per 6.5 litres; ♡ 1Tsp Sea K(elp) ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion PK booster ♡ 7ml Trace PH: 6.4 PPM: 780 I added the PK booster this feeding, just to provide some phosphorus without risking an excess. Next time, I won't use it. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. 22.5.25: Well, I had a total disaster with my HulkBerry. My tall, oscillating fan fell over and smashed straight down on her. 3 tops broke, so I had to improvise. I made the repairs and took the photos in under 5 mins. The next morning, the branch closest to the camera had fallen again, attached by only a small membrane. Amazingly, she had turned all the leaves, now on the floor of the tent, upwards towards the light. I patched it up again, and she's not looking too bad. However, I'm going to have to be exceedingly careful when watering the two other plants and moving the pots. I'm going to need to add support, stakes, maybe. I will think of something, no doubt. After all this occurs, I taped her up and watered. I fed 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with; ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Ecothrive Biosys. I also added ♡ 3ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids. I figured she would need some nitrogen and the building blocks to heal. N5-P0-K0. I will water again with the same today. Send some healing vibes 🍃✌️💚🤞🌱😊 24.5.25: I watered with Ecothrive Biosys 3ltrs each. The plants are still drinking at least 2 litres per day. They are increasingly thirsty, and it's important that I don't let them dry out. The soil is mostly coco and perlite, so it can dry out quicker. There are plenty of worm castings, too, so that definitely helps. The buds are developing and progressing very nicely, keeping up with the flowering nutrients and alternating between Ecothrive Biosys, Trace, and Greenleaf Nutrients. 25.5.25: I watered with 2.5 ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 I added Per 6.5 litres; ♡ 1Tsp Sea K(elp) ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion ♡ 7ml Trace PH: 6.3 PPM: 840 SOLUTION TEMP: 30°C SOIL PH: 7 SOIL TEMP: 21°C AMBIENT TEMPERATURE: 23-26°C RELATIVE HUMIDITY: 58%.
