Bit late posting this but the pictures are from D70, with work I didn’t have time until now. They’re still filling out the room ever so slightly. The girl at the front is suffering from light stress even though she’s the shortest, I have dimmed the light above her down to 70%. Out of all the the plants she has been the most difficult to manage from the start and has the smallest root mass. The other plants seem to be handling 100% with no issues. I have to say, at this stage of the grow, they do smell nicer than Strawberry Lemonade, very sweet and perfume like, harder to grow it seems but I am looking forward to trying her in August! I don't know where to start and I must admit I'm completely overwhelmed by this beautiful beautiful plant ❤️❤️❤️ Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I'm so happy 😍😍😍 She is a blessing! Excuse the outburst, but she is magical ☀️ I applaud you guys at Humboldt for creating such a wonderful strain 🙌 Some details upfront, before I rave some more: - 134 Days in total: 70 Days in Veg, 64 Days in Flower with 128W LED in a 60x60x160cm tent - 7 Days Drying regularly, 9 Days Drying in the Fridge - 432g - Wet weight with stems - 103g of those for Fresh Harvest Infused Oil - 190ml Olive oil with 30mg/ml THC & CBD - approx. 20g dry (for dry weight calc.) - 87g for the DrZiggy's Low And Slow Drying in the fridge - 20g dry - 242g for regular Drying @50% RH and 22°C - 55g dry - 30g dried sticky trim in the freezer Summary of my growing experience with this strain: She takes well to massive training and a little neglect in the beginning, meaning she recovers well, which is what I want 😊 I didn't experience any major deficiencies. She had a little nitrogen deficiency during the later veg phase, which she showed with lighter green leaves. I blame this on my long veg time and my pot size of only 11l. She consumed all her soil and nutes by the end of veg. I will keep that in mind for my next grow. Since I increased my nitrogen levels so close to flowering phase, I overdid it a little on the nitrogen which showed a little bit during later flowering phase with downwards clawing leaves. So I will be more careful with nitrogen especially while transitioning into Flower. I did not flush this plant and she smokes already beautifully mild after only a couple of days of curing. Drying her took 7 days in the tent and 9 days in the fridge. She crusted up with lots of stickiness while drying and gave off a good bit of scissor hash & kief when trimming. Smoking her is a great and different experience to me. It's my first time with a 1:1 strain and I can definitely notice the CBD content. She shows in a very well balanced body high with a slight and gentle knock on the THC door. The first couple of days I felt a craving for higher THC which settled down after only a couple of days. Very interesting and definitely worth growing. So you guessed right, I totally recommend growing this beauty. Especially if you are interested in exploring a 1:1 THC:CBD strain with all its magical medicinal values 🙏 Why I grew this strain: Like @Experimentgreen on here, I grew this strain for my Mama ❤️ She is open minded to trying to solve some of her health issues with these beautiful plants and the magic they bring but she also likes to have a bit of fun, she doesn't mind. So a 1:1 strain was quite handy. She suffers from neuropathic pain, arthritis in her joints, restless legs and insomnia. All very relatable issues and perfectly suitable to be introduced to some good CBD and THC content. She already has a little tolerance, since she is treating her restless legs with gummi bears I made with a strength of 1.5mg/gummi bear. This small dose already helps her on a daily for her restless legs. Beautiful 😍 So with this special mission in mind, I wanted to process the plant with only the very best options and create Cannabis Oil (Capsules) for my Mom to take. I chose a method called "Fresh Harvest Infused Cannabis oil" by the wonderful member SweetSue over at 420magazine: https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/fresh-harvest-infused-cannabis-oil.363371/ I hope it's ok to relink, no need to duplicate already existing and well researched content, right? I will not go into detail and def. recommend reading through the whole thread. I only document the short version here, but feel free to ask me, I'm happy to share my experience. The oil I made has 30mg/ml of THC and CBD. That's a good value. I calculated the strength the following: 75g fresh Flower in 200ml Olive Oil - with 10% CBD&THC 85% extraction efficiency with the infusion method 85% * 10% THC&CBD = 0.0850 0.0850 * 75g = 6.375 gram of available THC & CBD 6.375gram * 1000 = 6375mg/THC 6375mg/CBD 6375mg/200ml = 31.875mg/ml CBD & THC I created capsules with 3mg per capsule. We are currently trying to find the right dose for her. She started taking one capsule 60-90min before bed for 3 days now and will increase by 1 capsule tonight. We continue until a max dose of 15mg/day but always re-evaluate how she feels. She's documenting her experience quite cute. Very heartwarming and powerful. So far she sleeps better and she falls asleep faster, which she hadn't done in a long while. Onset is pretty precisely between 60 and 90 minutes. She has not had any restless legs so far. I'm excited for her and can't wait to see where this takes us. I also made her a salve/creme she uses as a topical on her joints. When she uses it early enough, before the big pain hits, she feels it helps. Of course this is not a science study and everything is purely based on personal experience. I thought I share, in case anyone is interested, also I want to give back a little, since I consume so much knowledge from all over the internet, including here, so thanks 🙏

09/18/2021 At battle with catapillar this week Hand picking them off, some bud rot caused by catapillar's . Light defoiliating dying, yellowing leaves. Hand picking is tedious but well worth the effort. Feeding neptunes harvest 2-3-1 this is last week of feeding. Drinking lots of water this week gave each plant 2.0 gallons of Neptunes Harvest 2-3-1 hope it works out couldn't find fox farms, or big buds but I'm sure they will be fine.....will feed again on Friday then plain water for 3-4 weeks till harvest. Feeding should get them through the next two weeks then watering plain water should flush anything not needed by plants. Girls are thirsty this week, just in time for feeding! Neptunes Harvest seems to do the trick. Pistils piling on like crazy so one more feeding on Friday Of 2-3-1 and Week 7-8 banana peel tea, she should start Fattening up,and fading nicely by week 8-9.🙏🏻 The NPK value for banana skins is 0.6-0.4-11.5. But this is the value for dried banana skins. (I will make tea from peels) not sure of N-P-K Is for peel tea? But it works well in my opinion. Day # 6 week 6 applied gypsum today gypsum should help a little with PH issues,7.0 a little to alkaline but she will grow, but she thrive at 6.2 PH

Buds are really swelling and smell has come on strong ! Really shaping up to be nice plants and good looking buds. The trichomes are starting to stack on and hopefully will get better as the buds begin to bulk up here in last few weeks ! But really a beautiful plant and has great structure! Many main colas instead of just a Christmas tree shaped plant with 1 , so far that’s a bonus ! Beginning week 8 and things have come along great. After a slow start I’m really impressed with how these are looking. 1 of the 2 has quite a bit more color starting to appear on some leaves and in the new buds but both are turning into beautiful plants. Not a lot of smell coming from them yet but just starting to notice a few trichomes on some sugar leaves near the highest forming buds. Excited to see how things progress! @blimburm thanks for the genetics! Starting to really get excited about this Grizzly Purple Auto !

Esta vez toca darles vida a estos esquejes de Wedding cake, bajo mi punto de vista de las mejores genéticas que hay. Hoy hace justo una semana que llegaron y las puse en las macetas pequeñas, donde han estado 5 días hasta que las he pasado a las macetas de 1l que usaré esta vez para darles crecimiento. Las dos veces anteriores las puse del tirón en la maceta final, a ver qué tal sale así. El clima está siendo fácil de controlar porque las condiciones son idóneas en el exterior. He cometido algún pequeño fallo como transplantarlas demasiado pronto creo yo, también algún desbarajuste con el ajuste del humidificador, ya que es nuevo y aún no controlaba bien. Por lo general contento por cómo están evolucionando hasta el momento. A seguir dándoles cariño para que crezcan sanas y fuertes 💪

From start to her finish she has been a great plant to grow. Given more space and light to herself would have given a huge yielding plant i feel. She grew long branches and her node spacing was fairly good but a little wide for compact growing like the quadlining uses. In a scrog she would perform amazing and i would recommend this to anyone unsure of growing the strain. she could get very big if left untrained !!! Her response to training was always excellent and even when losing a limb from my error , she bounced back quickly with a pair to compensate. They soon caught up with the older limbs too. Her buds get very dense and are prone to budrot if the Rh is not managed. You need a lot of good airflow around the buds themselves to even hope to avoid it with these huge thick colas. I lost about 1oz in rotted bits during the last few weeks of the grow and pre drying trim. Overall, loved growing this girl and she impressed me at every turn. Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Lots of good growth this week. The stretch was on big time! The buds are starting to form and some are even showing trichomes. No signs of stress in the plant so I'll be bumping up nutrients next week.

Semana del 12 al 18 de abril Cada día más bonitas. Estoy feliz porque como hay menos humedad ambiental, hay menos humedad en el indoor. Incluso llegando a 43% de humedad, así que me confirmo. La temperatura suele andar por 24-26 grados Celsius así que bien. Tenía unas 10 hojas dañadas por la mosca negra, así que el 12 de abril apliqué el insecticida tec fort (foto del producto en la semana anterior). Lo apliqué a las 17:00 hrs y a las 22:30 del mismo día no vi ningún bicho. Dentro de 5-6 días volveré a aplicarlo igualmente (1ml por cada litro). Al menos dos de las cuatro plantas están tomando otro color, así que me conformo.
