I'm back! Almost gave up on these ladies but the genetics from Speedrun Seeds pulled through. They just patiently waited until I got the root issues figured out then proceeded to blow up. Floraflex Rootdrip saved roots without a doubt. I'll never run DWC without it again. Today was day 110. No idea what to expect for a dry weight just glad to be at my first harvest!

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. KL 08.00. The girls woke up after their beauty sleep, the leaves are always a bit down after 6 h of darkness, but they will stretch now when the HPS lamp starts. This is day 21 from sprouting. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test. 06/15: The ladies have started pre-flowering. They’re also growing in size. Annie has a height of 13”, soil to top leaves. She has a diameter of about 22”, which means I probably can’t fit more than three five gallons in my grow tent. I lowered the light to 12” in hopes of keeping her from getting too tall. Gave water in the afternoon. It was a day and a half since last watering. The five-gallon girls took in over 2000mL. I spotted to one worm in Alexis’s runoff and two in Annie’s. None in Aaliyah’s. I did notice that the bugs have no brown/black heads and also have a clitellum, which are characteristics not found in fungus gnat larvae. The plants look great as of now, but I’m going to keep a close eye on them for any changes. 06/18: Gave the ladies another watering. I didn’t see any pests, so I think we’re in the clear. I’ve been sticking to about a day and half between watering with about 1000μS. The salt in the runoff is a little higher than I would like it, but it’s nothing too crazy. Annie has a leaf or two with burnt tips, so I’m going to keep an eye on her. Both Annie and Aaliyah are about 15” high, but Annie has more of a curve on her main stem and is bushier. Her main stem is the same height as the other ones. The LST allowed Aaliyah to get light on her sides, but her main stem quickly grew back up and surpassed the others. Since the plants are going into flowering I want to avoid training them any further and just let them be. I also switched on the red light, but kept them blue. I read somewhere that this will allow the plants to get enough red light to help with the flowering, but still keep them a bit short because of the blue. I have enough space in the tent to allow the plants to double in height, but not much more after that.

Week 1 Veg Day 1: Things look good. When bottom watering the seed tray I noticed the roots had grown through the bottom of the seed tray. Will decide what size to move up to and when to start taking the PH for watering / fertilizing. Need to grab more soil too, these babies are growing fast. Week 1 Veg Day 4: had a couple days of just watching and watering intermittently, but the time has come to repot these seedlings! I’d say we are into veg as we move into these new pots for both the autos and the photos in this grow. I know we don’t have to (slash shouldn’t) transplant auto’s… but I only have so much space and didn’t have enough soil when the seeds popped.. and didn’t really know whether living soil would be too hot to start autos in. Decided to move the kids to 2 gallon pots though, and will probably let the autos stay here and upgrade the photos in about a month. Should just be watering and watching for the next week. Moving some of the autos outside in 2/3 weeks, will start PH monitoring water asap, and will continue to look into fertilizer options.

This week I decided they deserved better. Added some red/blue LEDs that are low output, 12 on 12 off, 29.99 Chinese, designed for house plants. Even upgraded the pot to a 11 litre Grownest.

Bubba Kush Mintz Autoflower is growing good. She just had a solution change yesterday, and ph correction today. She is starting to bulk, and will be given mainly potassium and phosphorus for her feed the rest of the grow. Everything is looking really good. -- day 29 -- Started week 5 off with watering the plants. The nutrients from the soil are probably used by now so I'm adding a first small dose of Alga Grow. -- day 30 -- Its been 10 days since I changed the lights to 12/12. Switched the lights to full capacity with the bloom mode on. -- day 31 -- I'm already seeing the first signs of flowering today. Noticed first signs of light burn so raised the lights to 55 cm above canopy. -- day 32 -- Watered the plants with 2 ml/l alga grow + 2 ml/l bloom. -- day 34 -- I think I've been too cautious with nutrients. Plants are relatively light green colored. Not sure if I mentioned this before but I chose to schedule my lights so that they turn on at 22:00 and off at 10:00 in the morning. I did this because the room warms up with lights on and keeps the temperature up at night without any heating on to save energy. Only disadvantage; I can only look at my plants in the morning and late evening ;)

This week has been stressful for me. I discovered 3 types of bug invaders.. I had some fungus gnats some spider mites and also some thrips... Bastards! I have deployed predators to deal with the canopy in the form of Amblyseius cucumeris and Amblyseius swirskii. I also deployed a platoon of lacewing larvae. For the fungus gnats I used nematodes watered into the root system. I now need to keep an eye for any further signs. I lost a lot of leaf to the pests I hope I did not take to much but anything I chopped was eaten and dead already. She needed a trim anyway and I did discover a load of bud sites that were covered up. I plan to strip the flower room out after this grow and do a deep clean and reseal everything. This will also be the last grow using biobizz range as I do. I was told before that I don't need to use all their product line and I feel I know what I like and need now. Ich habe die Pflanzen erfolgreich in größere Töpfe umgesetzt. Alle Ladys sind nun in 6-Liter-Töpfen mit BioBizz All-Mix untergebracht. Der Umzug verlief reibungslos, die Wurzeln sahen gesund und kräftig aus – ein gutes Zeichen für ein solides Fundament. Seit dem Umtopfen zeigen die Pflanzen ein gutes Wachstum. Der All-Mix scheint gut angeschlagen zu haben, erste Anzeichen von Nährstoffaufnahme sind sichtbar: sattes Grün, aufrechte Blätter und ein insgesamt vitaler Eindruck. Gießen erfolgt aktuell noch moderat, da der All-Mix gut vorgedüngt ist. Ich beobachte die Entwicklung genau, halte Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit stabil und freue mich auf die weitere Wachstumsphase.

Day 22 22/07/24 Monday Nothing new to report. Starting to see them beautiful fans appear that's all 😁✌️ Day 23 23/07/24 Tuesday Feed today, giving them straight all nutes Inc flowering nutes. I will update the dose as they grow and develop a bigger hunger. (Not sure what's wrong with Overdose #2, bit mutated, we'll see how she gets on 😅) Video updates 👌💚 Day 26 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update.

Day 14 - This girl was topped above the second node! She's showing some variegation, but is growing very strong! She's growing in Schultz premium potting mix, and is getting watered with de-chlorinated tap water at a dosage of 1 red solo cup every day from days 1-7, then 2 solo cups from days 7-14.

In general, I liked growing this variety, the only thing is a lot of small leaves, it is not very convenient to cut, but the colas are very dense and weigh well, there are also many small stepsons, although I cleaned up during unnecessary time, powdery mildew appeared after the rain, which is difficult get rid of the large number of leaves on the plant, and it's very good)
