Week 2: Trying to be anal about VPD. Feeding nutrients every watering, PPFD/DLI is not dialed in just following the manuals recommended light distance. Humidifier on the outside of the lower right vent and AC Infinity helps maintain RH %.

Start of Week 11 - Day 71 07/12: It seems as if Annie’s stretch is slowing down. She’s now at about 30” tall and she has a lot of colas poking out from her base. Aaliyah and Alexis have stopped their height at 34”. Alexis’s buds are starting to get bigger. The buds in Aaliyah’s main cola are starting to connect and are also getting bigger. Aaliyah’s bigger buds are also getting coated in trichomes. The smell is still pretty minimal. Based on the visual changes it appears that Alexis is about a week behind Aaliyah and Annie is about three weeks behind Aaliyah. Since this is my first grow I’m not too sure on harvesting time, but I’d say Aaliyah will be ready first and she still has a few weeks left in her. They are losing some leaves closer to the base, but they are looking amazing overall. It’s hard to believe it’s been 70 days since I put the seeds in water. Time really flies. 07/16: Playing the waiting game and it isn’t easy, but it will be worth it. The ladies are at different stages of flowering, so I’ve decided that next week I’m going to start giving them different doses of nutrients.

All plants are starting to flower and doing great. Starting bloom feed 20/12/20. I'll update 3 or 4 times this week.

hi growmies, this one is really bulking hard. taking over most of the box. she doesn't smell like a typical afghan anymore, very creamy. still amazing what you can do to these plants and they still recover from it. The buds on this one seemed very fluffy at the beginning, however this has starting to change know and they start swelling very nicely.

Day 63 F: Well here we are at the end of a brilliant grow that has seen totally different mixes of heights and genetics successfully completed under the Mars Hydro fc3000 and my own mix of supersoil. Rhe light managed to keep them all at full tilt even though they were at big , differing canopy heights. If inhad used the middle of the room , I could have covered the canopy a lot better and the light would have easily reached the whole canopy despite their odd height differences. I have a Mars tent that will be perfect for this light to totally fill out with 6 plants once I am back at full production and over this slight delay upcoming. The soil has been brilliant from the off , even the small Mexican airline #1 that seemed to struggle with the start up and strength of the mix has finished well. I only added ecothrive , eco life cycle and biosys tea throughout the grow with a couple of grams of Megacrop in flower as a booster. The watering in the beds has been very easy to maintain and keep moist and the more shallow depth has helped check at root level and bottom easily. The immobile nature of the bed has meant that using different strains as the 3 is maybe not ideal , workable , but not ideal and needs some forward planning next time out . Besides that , it has been very simple to manage. The strains have been perfect throughout the weeks with little to no signs of any deficiency. I did remove a lot of fan leaves over the past week to really open the lower parts of the plant to more light for the ripening time . It will also help with the drying time and harvest. There is a lot of really nice colas on these ladies and I cannot recommend the genetics for autos from Fast buds enough. The Strawberry pie finished beautifully and with 2 phenos ro enjoy once dry , I am really looking forward to hitting that one. The six shooter look deadly for the unweary too with their frosty and kush looking purples and reds. Mexican airline have done a nice job on fattening their buds at the end but the #1 is way less bountiful than her sister. Let's see what a drying period does to their overall yields now. They look so big when 1st hung to dry but it is so disheartening watching them shrink to tiny versions of the originals. The dark period has made them a little more tacky without a doubt and their smells are so obvious going through the plants cutting. Temps are at around 10°c in the room with no lights on so this will be a long ,low and slow dry . I do have the dehumidifier on its highest setting to avoid these fat buds developing any bud rot but the low temps will also be a huge help. I have a nice mix of aromas among these with lemon , fresh cut fruit , candy cane sweet and a spicy fuel . Roll on the harvest and cure now. Hopefully a harvest report will follow within 10-14 days. This strain is absolutely amazing, it's very different from any haze or even blueberry, the smell it's exactly like a fruit cocktail smells, very very fruity and sweet, I'm crazy to see how this nuggets taste after being well dried and cured boys and girls! 📆 Semana 7: La Candy Bubatz XL avanza con fuerza en floración. Los cogollos se densifican y brillan con una capa creciente de tricomas, mientras el aroma dulce se vuelve más penetrante. This week was mostly about getting everything ready for the vegetative phase. I will start to add some nutrients this week. I will first flush out most of the old water that has been running through the system for about 2 weeks now. When the plants get a little bigger I will add some nutrients and try get my EC level up to around 0.7 with the help from the very supportive people over at EHG nutrients. They have offered to sponsor me through this grow with nutrients which will be of great help. They are a local South African company, so for any one from South Africa 🇿🇦 please check them out. I have added an oscillating fan to add to the airflow en strengthen my seedlings whilst they start to grow stronger. Due to my humidity being a bit lower than what I want it to be, I have decided to add an air purifier/humidifier which will hopefully add some humidity to the tent. I am aiming for about 65% RH and will be monitoring this closely. My lights are currently at 40% strength. I am making use of a panel heater to break the winter cold and will be aiming to be at around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). I have added an Mycelium bag which is an alternative way to add extra co2 to your grow. This helps the plant to absorb nutrients better and handle the temperatures a bit better. I will be adding photos as the week continues.
