🌱 Day 43 - Beginning of the Third Flowering Week 🌱 Hello grow friends! 🌿 Today marks the start of the third week of the flowering phase. This week, I’m trying to adjust my nutrients a bit. I plan to slightly increase BioBizz Grow, as well as BioBizz Bloom, according to the feeding schedule. 🌱💧 I’m continuing to prune and thin out the plants a little each day, aiming to keep them stress-free. ✂️😊 The terpenes and buds are developing wonderfully so far, but I’m still struggling with very high humidity levels. 🌡️💦 Since my grow setup is on the second floor and we’re currently experiencing humid temperatures here in Germany, it’s been a challenge. I’m trying to reduce the humidity from 62% down to 50% during the day, but it’s proving difficult. 🌬️📉 I’ll keep you updated on how things progress! 🌿✨ 🌱 Day 47 - Everything is Going Well 🌱 Watering and Nutrients Today, I watered and fed the plant again. 🌿💧 Each plant received 1 liter, which is about 10% of the pot's volume. The plant is responding well to the nutrients, and growth is steady. Defoliation and Light Exposure I’ve done some light defoliation to ensure that every part of the plant gets proper light exposure. ✂️💡 My goal is to avoid any shadowed areas, allowing the buds to develop fully. Temperature Management The temperature is still quite high, reaching 27-28°C during the day. 🌡️🔥 I’m finding it difficult to bring it down, but the plant seems to be handling it well. To maintain a healthy environment, I keep both the fan and the exhaust system running on the highest setting, ensuring good air circulation. 🌬️🔄 Humidity Control Currently, the humidity is sitting at around 45-50%. 💧 It’s not perfect, but I’m monitoring the plant closely and making adjustments as needed. Careful Defoliation I continue to remove one or two leaves each day to minimize stress on the plant. 🍃🌿 This slow, careful defoliation ensures that the plant stays healthy while making sure all buds have access to light. Guard Dogs on Duty My dogs took a peek into the grow tent today and are now keeping a watchful eye over the plant. 🐕🌱 They’re doing a great job of “guarding” it! 🐾 I hope you enjoyed this update! Baklava de The Plug Seeds es un cruce de Wedding Cake X Gelato. Hay varios Phenos (3) el mejor para mi gusto es bastante púrpura y de gran rendimiento. Soporta bien altas cargas de fertilizante como además las altas temperaturas de verano. Con el frío tiende a cambiar el color a negro/purpura con tonos de verde lima y rojizos cobres. Terpenos que recuerdan a una bolleria o panadería, toques dulces, mantequilla, frutos secos, canela, miel y el pheno Gelato sale mas a crema dulce terrosa. Hay un pheno que es bastante mas Kush y Gassy! Altos contenidos en THC y muy buenos resultados para hacer extracciones.

Setting up the garden of my dreams - Scroggernaut 2.0 "either yer scroggin er yer not" Old grow was a 4x4 closet inside a garage. New grow will be a 8x10 room with a 4x8 and 2x4 in 2020, and adding at least another 4x4 in 2021. My son will be learning how to grow this year in a dedicated 2x4 space, soiless mix, hand water. The additional 4x8 will be in a dutch bucket recirculating system (Thanks to GreenMachine for the advice so far, coming for more). All tables will be custom designed and made by me. Genetics will be a mix of Original Sensible Seeds (Bruce Banner #3) In house genetics (Slurricane ix) and some FastBuds testers So far in 5 days I have built the structure, and completed most of the insulating. Wiring before I finish the walls to save some future headaches. Lighting will be 3 x HLG 550 clones over a 4 x 10 foot area. This gives 36 LED watts per sqft, and the PAR rating on these lights is insane. Should be more than enough light. 🌱 Day 8 — Veg Nutrient strength kept light (≈180 ppm) for root development. Water level just below net pots; bubbles lightly mist the bottoms. Reservoir and pH stable throughout the week. No visible roots yet. Will transfer the 4 best plants into the alien aero system when: Roots are long, white, and branching — at least 4–6 inches hanging freely into the SuperPonics reservoir. Root tips are firm and bright (not soft or brown). The plants have at least 3–4 sets of true leaves and are starting to accelerate growth. 🌱 Day 10 — Veg Roots have finally reached the water. Will look to transplant in the next 5 days or so.

An interesting discovery was made with this plant’s pot, I observed how having a row lesser of drainage drastically effected how I water this lady. Her grow medium swamps up if I maintain a 1lt daily water schedule, which would result in drowning the roots, luckily my grow medium has sponges up when wet, allow the slow irrigation to take place to avoid root rot. Luckily it’s spring time and in Mzansi(South Africa) it is hot enough to push my greenhouse’ temperature higher than the outdoor temperature, to encourage some form of evaporation and humidity, next week I will add pictures of the thermometers, and you can see the drastic difference in temperature.

Well, so much for taking the hands-off approach. Winter is coming and the heater has been on, which is drying out the air more. Temperature is the same in the grow room, but humidity has plunged to 23%. Gave the plants a thorough watering with nutrients last week. Today and the rest of the week, I'm going to treat them to just plain water until next week. UPDATE: Humidity definitely the culprit. Placed a small humidifier by the plants on Wednesday, and they sprang right back. All is going well now. Seed description says flowering phase of 11 Weeks. Should expect to begin harvesting around Dec. 20th (4 weeks from now).

Everyone is officially in flush mode, washing away all the chemicals in the coco and attached to the roots, making sure I flush them with atlas 50% runoff, I flush em with 14L of plain PH water at 6.4.
