Start of week 4 and the washing machine looking great, got the scrogg net laid down and will be just tucking branches back under the net. After digging out the Jaffa plants which were not growing at all we realised that they came in soil not coco, after cleaning off the soil and treating with super thrive and great white, giving them a new mix of Coco and some food at 1.0ec they begin to show signs of life 🙌 Hopefully they catch-up with the washing machine. Not seeing any major signs of deficiency or toxicity atm

Esta semana quitamos productos, que termine bien de chupar todo el alimento, y que hinchen ya estás últimas semanas. .tambien lavaremos la raíces esta semana para quitar el alimento sobrante y las sales acumuladas. Empezaremos con el ESTRÉS HÍDRICO:el cual cada vez que regamos, regamos menos cantidad , así La Niña resina estas últimas semanas. Os incluyo vídeos.

Everything is filling up the canopy nicely so I flipped to flower (10/19/18) so they don’t get to out of control during the first couple weeks as they like to stretch. Will be doing a slight Lollipopping in the next day or 2 and will have to add a second layer of trellis either this week or next.

Buds are really putting on weight! Frost is in abundance. Colas have really gained defined shape and structure. The aroma is getting intense. Full blown bloom is a wonderful thing. Just watching as the sexyness gets more defined. We have hit the major bulking phase. Do to the new phase of growth the feeding has once again changed. I added bud golem to the mix. To get every drip drop of flowering vigor this lady has to push. Really gives that extra umph for the bulking phase. Will eliminate that last bit of grow outta the mix next feed. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, resulting in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow slower to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. 8th Week Report 05/12/19 - 12/12/19 In photos CMXL is on the left and LSD on the right 05/12/19 Didn't changed reservoir as is more or less half capacity full. I plan to change it on the beginning of the next week(12/12/19). 09/12/19 Added a small and cheap diy dehumidifier kit built with a Peltier module (search on Amazon Peltier dehumidifier) 10/12/19 CMXL got a light defoliation where I removed bigger fan leaves covering lower bud sites 11/12/19 Even if they look healthy I added a small Humidity and Temperature sensor to be sure humidity doesn't get too high and let the mold form. However you will get an average humidity level the next week after some tests/readings. 12/12/19 I plan to change reservoir solution and increase its strength to 90% tonight, but diary will be updated with new values with the next week ;) For tomorrow (13/12/12) is also planned a stronger defoliation to CMXL before she gets in full flower, I hope it helps to achieve a better light penetration into the canopy and also it could give an extra stretch to the plant since I noticed that even after a small defoliation she stretches a little faster for a while. well im at the end of week 2 flower everything is going Great not a lvl as I hoped but every Bud is getting a lot of light Things look promising I belive this will be a decent harvest. I will change some things next grow I got a new 4x4 Gorilla grow tent with a NEW SET OF 5 Gal Air pots and another batch of living Soil AKA SUPER SOIL Ill explain how come living soil makes a huge difference when using a soil medium. And here we go! First week of flower (or rather, the first week with the new photoperiod) 😀 I'll give my babies one more week of veg. fertilizers and I'll swap to flower ones when the first pistils start to show! Also, not much happens in this week, the plant is still trying to "understand" what's going on to properly start flowering so most changes are going to be minimal (Pistachio grew only 2 cms). What's interesting is that the top leaves are now starting to get slightly lighter in color (a sign she's switching to flower) and that my girls are now drinking more water (I blame the heat!) and that my girls need more power! I spent The long easter weekend at the cottage so leaving my girl was a bit stressful, ph fluctuations could stunt the gros if it occurs. As for water temps i know my root inoculent will ward off root rot if temps gets above 25 degrees, although that was not the real issue,She almost drank herself dry in only 4 days. I had to defoliate her quite a bit but other that that she did just fine on her own

The light has been adjusted again, the values measured with the Photone app: Ppfd = 595-615 DL i= 40-42 the plants were watered with 500ml of water each. -12.07.2024 Just a visual check. -13.07.2024 Just a visual check. -14.07.2024 Visual inspection the soil felt dry, so the plants were watered with 500 ml of water per plant. -15.07.2024 Visual Check the light intensity has been increased measured values with the Photone app: Ppfd = 700 DLi = 50 -16.06.2024 Just a Visual Check. -17.07.2024 Today is the last day of the third vegitation week. the plants look good and are getting „white hairs“ - the pre-flowering starts. A few of the lower leaves have been removed. Both plants were watered with 500ml of water. (3ml Biogrow / liter - 1ml TopMax / liter)

It came into my head last night a migjt have been under feeding them by mixing enough feed for 10 litres of water instead of the 20 i meant to account for i will give them a full dose on the same feed as last week 4ml per 10 litre and 1ml of pk for the 1st feed tnis week and see how they look 🤯
