I was on a trip for work for 2 days, I tried my best to take care of everything before I went. They still got damaged cuz of underwatering.. also I’m not quite sure if they are underfertalized because of all the flushing for the right ph I did. They started to develop droopy yellow leaves that are pretty soft to the touch and don’t crunch up at the tips like they first did from nutrient burn. I gave them a top dress today with a mixture of 25% worm castings and 75% all mix, hopefully this will stabilise them. I would really appreciate some help in this case, as I’m not sure if it’s caused by nutrient deficiency or nutrient burn. Also I wanted to do a big defoliation and lollipoping this week, but I feel like I first should solve the nutrient problem, so I don’t start damaging the top growth.

Week 5 - Day 39 - 20/03/20 Coming along well, grown 12/13 inches since last week. Plants hit 28" to 31". I tied down the plants and spread open the centre of each pot, as you'll see from images, flowering well. No issues, no problems with nutes l, recovered well from a light flushing,. Doing a 4ltr feed per pot every 2 days, however I'm only feeding nutes once a week, followed by straight water feed. Sticking to pH.6.3 ;) It's beginning to hum, let's see what's happens next Day 42. Some plants showed signs of nitrogen deficiency. Push more nutes more frequently rather than a single nute feed a week. Watering plants 4lrs a pot to ensure there's some run off. Feeding once every 2 days.

started some little low stress training with some rubber bands and some aluminum rods I have laying around. Plant is growing greatly not seeing any signs of pre flower but I'm happy for that bigger plant more smoke "I guess".. but she showed sex already. Still feeding pat poo and bat poo tea, Plant looks green and healthy better than her sister seed i planted on the outdoors who has already started showing pre flower and Mutated from the shift from indoor germination to outdoor extrem heat .... .

Grund genug, den Strain auszuprobieren. Als Unterlage verwende ich einen Untersetzer mit Blähton der Körnung 4/8mm, der Topf läßt sich so besser ausrichten aus mit der gröberen Körnung. Das blaue Unterteil des Topfes habe ich mit einem doppellagigen Stück Insektenschutznetz versehen, damit die gute Erde nicht so schnell rausrieselt. Damit sind wir beim 2. Punkt der Neuigkeiten. Diesmal verwende ich die Bio-Hanferde von Sonnenerde. Die Aussicht, meine Pflanzen in Living Soil ohne Düngergefrickel anzubauen, stimmt mich neugierig. Auch die Aussicht, die Erde mehrfach benutzen zu können gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut. Zum Mulchen habe ich von Sonnenerde die Bio-Faser vorgesehen. Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Grapefruit is developing a lot of new internode fan leaves, but she's too late into bloom now to defoliate etc. and don't want to stress the GG XL either. Latest GG XL photos are in Week 5. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.

Now that was a great week indeed. she has really spread out nicely being held down with some yoyos. will be transplanting the ladies in the next day or 2 here and then flower in about 10-14 days is my guess. They are a little smaller then usualy for this time, maybe a week behind but i think i messed up on the calibration schedule again damnit. I swear you can not calibreate you ph tester too much, do it every 3-4 weeks is my reccomendation. I think the ph maybe a little low, i'm not postive 100% on the issue but dont really matter, she is very healthy

Wow! Look at these amazing two plants. They both turned a bit purple. The smell is insane. Belive me or not but my entire room smells like a sweet ice cream restaurant. 😍 I had given this week only PH adjusted water and darkness for two days before harvest. Going to dry for like 7-10 days and then curing for another month or so. I will upload more pictures of the dried buds when the time comes

Week 6 and they are still in the vegetation phase. Still growing it under 1 95w cfl 6500k. I really learned that leaving your plant in a small pot for too long can really stunt growth and slows down the whole process... It's growing pretty fast right now and every day i see how the plant is getting bigger. Did some LST to give new branches more light. Leave any tips :)

Gained some height since last week, bud sites everywhere. Defoliatated a few leaves to allow light in as its really bushy. Upped the nutrients and shes drinking alot more now. Hopefully see some trichromes popping up soon and they fatten up
