Tag 108 | Blütetag 64 Rocko's Terp Test featuring: Apokalypse Grow ☀️🔥 Das Wetter bleibt momentan der Chef. Um den sommerlichen Temperaturen entgegenzuwirken, wurde der komplette Lichtzyklus in dieser Woche auf die Nachtstunden von 20:00 bis 08:00 Uhr verlegt. Zusätzlich laufen die beiden XS1500 Pro nur noch mit 40 % Leistung. Ich habe sogar kurz überlegt, den Zyklus auf 21:00 bis 09:00 Uhr zu verschieben, um die größte Nachmittagshitze noch weiter zu umgehen. Vorerst bleibt es aber bei 20:00 bis 08:00 Uhr. In dieser Phase geht es nicht mehr darum, den letzten Ertrag herauszupressen, sondern die Pflanzen möglichst schonend ins Ziel zu bringen. Das Ziel bleibt klar: Fruchtbombe statt Hitzebombe. Das gesamte System läuft aktuell eher in einer warmen Suppe zwischen 26 und 31 °C, statt wie noch vor einigen Wochen zwischen kühl und heiß zu pendeln. Die Klimadaten lesen sich zunächst kritischer, als die Pflanzen tatsächlich aussehen. Trotz der schwülen Wetterlage zeigen die aktuellen Bilder ein erstaunlich stabiles Bild. Die Pflanzen zehren inzwischen sichtbar aus ihren Blattreserven, ohne dass die Blüten selbst deutliche Anzeichen von Hitzestress zeigen. Angesichts der sommerlichen Temperaturen unter dem Dach sind rund 30 bis 31 °C während der Lichtphase derzeit ein durchaus akzeptabler Kompromiss. Chicken & Waffles liefert in dieser Woche den wohl spektakulärsten Anblick. Die Zuckerblätter präsentieren sich inzwischen in tiefen Violetttönen bis hin zu nahezu Schwarz und zeigen stellenweise bordeauxfarbene Nuancen, die sich auf Fotos nur schwer einfangen lassen. Zusammen mit der massiven Harzschicht wirkt die Pflanze beinahe eingefroren. Die Spitze erinnert an mehrere kleine Zwiebelkirchtürme. Mit ihren organischen, leicht verdrehten Formen wirkt sie fast wie ein Bauwerk, das einem Hundertwasser-Entwurf entsprungen sein könnte. So eine Optik hatte ich bisher noch in keinem Grow. Fruit Bomb Punch zeigt in dieser Woche eindrucksvoll, welchen Einfluss das Training auf ihren Wuchs hatte. Durch das wiederholte Herunterclipsen während des Stretchs konnte sich keine klassische Hauptcola entwickeln. Stattdessen bildet die Topblüte aus der Draufsicht einen regelrechten Fünfender mit nahezu gleich hohen Spitzen. Von der Seite wirkt derselbe Bereich dagegen wie ein schlanker Turm aus übereinander gestapelten Blütensegmenten. Die übrigen, weniger beeinflussten Seitentriebe zeigen dagegen die sortentypische Blütenstruktur und machen den Einfluss des Trainings besonders deutlich. Strawberry AK bleibt ihrer Linie treu. Die klassische Kerzenform mit ihrer markanten Hauptcola ist bis heute erhalten geblieben. Gleichzeitig zeigt sie den deutlichsten Herbst-Fade und verwertet konsequent die letzten Reserven aus ihren Fächerblättern. Auch bei den Trichomen zeigen sich inzwischen Unterschiede. Chicken & Waffles liegt aktuell leicht vorn, Strawberry AK folgt überraschend dicht dahinter. Fruit Bomb Punch beginnt dagegen gerade erst sichtbar einzutrüben. Ob sie in der kommenden Woche aufschließen kann, werden die nächsten Makroaufnahmen zeigen. Am Ende entscheidet das Glas. 🍯🌱

Day 92. Girls will get 30 Yoyos and will be watered later. Still can't make my mind : A. Defoliate next watering B. Defoliate light and clear bottoms, too many airy buds, not enough light at bottom level. C. Just leave them alone, they know what they are doing ;))) All look too good, light are too close and i don't need any stress, but i want solid buds, still see chances in all ways and will make my decision during this week. Day 92. Late evening. Time has come, cleared some worthless bottoms mostly from Blue Dreams, installed 26 YoYos, took like 50-60 Top fan leaves to open secondary crown and thats last training. Notice : if you ever buy YoYos, theirs line is very important, mine is soft, but still thin like fishing line, cotton rope would be 10 times better. Day 95. Girls got feed, think to push one more feed and then start only water them till the end. Missing light a lot, too tall girls for my setup, but i am still more than happy !!! Think 3 weeks left till the end of journey ! Mini Runtz has nice structure as a plant and bud, next to him under fresh outside air ( cold now most of the time ) is Frosty Runtz, very potent and i think earliest finishing plant with other Frosty NoColour Asia Kalini. Other two Runtz are missing light, but are heavier producers too , so bud development could take longer. Two Asia Kalini, who show colour, look like twins, stacking very nice and frost is good. All Blue Dreams miss light and proper distance from light, top buds will be most airy buds on all plant, but i just ran out of space with those giants ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Como les comenté, antes del cambio 12/12 las deje 36 horas de oscuridad (primera vez que pruebo esta técnica) y luego de las 36 horas de oscuridad prendi 12/12. Estos son los resultados en su 1ra semana de floración. Me gusto la técnia, la seguiré usadndo. Esta técnica lo que logra en el periodo de 36 horas de oscuridad es inducirlas a producir hormonas. Que opinan ustedes amigos, Saludos por allá a todos, bendiciones y buenos humos!

Flowering! Return of the gnat issue this week. I am adding more gnat traps and adding a fan to point at the soil to dry it out. Lower leaves occasionally turn yellow and die off. About 5 a day. Still feeding RAW BLOOM at about 1.5tsps per gallon.

7th of May Day 59 day 11 of 12/12 4 plants are looking healthy the stretch has started and and the canopy is starting to get a bit dense I may rom I’ve some large fan leaves on day 14 of 12/12 to give better airflow and allow for the lower growth to get more light, I can picture the colas already 😁🍁 ppm still going in at 650 ph 6.5, i top dressed each plant with fish blood and bone mean 3 table spoons to each 3gal pot on day 1 of flower

This a cutting from the same line of Gelato Cake. Its in its 2nd week, and has been pollinated in 3 places with Gelato cake, dosi punch and an unnamed Sativa so expecting seeds.by abundance

Started bringing them outside 20° - 24° Celciious , getting them hardned to the wind.. i bring them back under grow light to continue the light cycle.

This is a strain that is very easy to grow and resistant, after the fourth week it sticks a lug, and does not need a lot of vitamins, it grew with only 13 and 12 hours of light and went through cloudy days and a lot of humidity

Got Big issues in this Grow Circle because of private Problems and time Problems, and this Strain performed anyway , great work fast buds will try it again ! Its almost died once and still Growed through Flower

Time to take the cuttings! --- Using a pair of clean trimmers, - [17:35]: Cut several clonal cuttings. --- Only need one cutting to root, but took extra cuttings of each cultivar. --- Made sure to trim most of the branches leaving a top node or two. --- Did not cut any leaf fingers and made sure to cut the tip of the stalk (about 45-degree) before placing each cutting into the cup of aloe solution. --- Made sure each tube on the PVC rig had the correct names labeled. - [17:36]: Also topped and defoliated the entire veg garden. --- Mulched the trimmings. --- Placed the cup into the veg tent. --- Have the cup resting on top of the drip tray (front center pot). --- Will change the water out tomorrow and plan to start rooting in two days. --- The current rooting Coco Coin cuttings probably need to be transplanted into solo cups by now. - [17:44]: Checked for roots and all Coco Coins had roots. --- Going to transplant one of each pheno. --- Planting into clear cups with bottom holes cut out for drainage. --- Will also be using opaque red cups (without holes) to keep the roots protected from light damage. --- Partially filled the clear cup with recycled BuildASoil 3.0 potting soil. --- Made sure the soil at the bottom of each cup was well compacted and had enough room for the Coco Coin. - [18:04]: Inoculated each cup with Great White mycorrhizae along with a bit of Beauveria Bassiana. ------ Sprinkled 1/16tsp of Great White ------ Sprinkled 1/64tsp of Beauveria Bassiana Plus --- Mainly tried to dust the center of each cup. - [18:07]: Placed a rooted Coco Coin into each inoculated cup. --- Made sure each cup still had enough room for more soil. --- To fully hydrate all Coco Coins, misted each with about 20-30 sprays of RO water. - [18:17]: Gently filled each cup with more soil. --- Completely covered each Coco Coin making sure to tuck the sides in. --- Each Coco Coin is about 1/4-1/2 inch below the top soil. --- Marked the names on each cup with blue painter's tape. --- Also defoliated both cups and removed the lowest fan leaves. - [18:35]: Covered the soil with BuildASoil Organic Straw Mulch. --- Made sure the top soil was completely covered. --- Culled the extra Garlic Budder and Chill Out OG phenos. --- Mulched the trimmings. - [19:01]: Filled a measuring cup with 2 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/16tsp of Horticultural Coconut ------ Added 1/8tsp of Mycrobe Complete --- Mixed and poured the solution straight into a spray bottle. - [19:03]: Took the initial dry soil weight before watering, ------ Garlic Budder OG#1 » 276.8g ------ Chill Out OG #3 » 260.0g --- While on a scale, --- Evenly misted the top of both cups with the wetting solution. --- Did not spray the top growth. --- Misted 10-20 sprays. 11/30: I harvested the first 6 today, flushed 5 more for the second time, and fed everybody else for the last time. I washed all the branches using the 4-step method ascribed by Doc Bud at High Times/420magazine and many other notable cannabis connoisseurs, with slight modifications: 4 x big plastic totes/bins 8 x ounces of 12% hydrogen peroxide (or 32 ounces of 3%) 2 x cups of concentrated lemon juice 2 x cups of baking soda 10 x gallons of water in each bin Unless your tap water stinks, you're safe to use tap water for the procedure, but I used an inline carbon hose filter to fill my buckets. Bin #1 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the hydrogen peroxide Bin #2 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the lemon juice and baking soda Bin #3 - 10 gallons of water as hot tap water Bin #4 - 10 gallons of cold tap water I was mainly concerned about removing as much lint and cat/dog hair as possible, but also rinsing off any residue left from all the various foliar applications of humic/fulvic acid, kelp, axiom, big bloom, and tiger bloom I did. First, I put my leaf blower on low speed and blasted my plants thoroughly, one at a time, replicating 50-60mph winds for about 10 seconds and watched as a whirlwind of debris and hair flew out the back door. Bud-washing: Pluck any necrotic plant material and any old fan leaves off while they're still on the plant. Then, take a handful of branches and submerge them in Bin #1 for about 30 seconds, agitating it, removing from water, submerging again, agitating, etc...then remove it and let it drip out for a few seconds...then repeat the process with Bins #2-4. Let it drip dry overnight with a little bit of airflow, then dry as you normally would...baskets, boxes, etc.. I hadn't watered these plants in a few days, so they were almost in draught, but after doing this procedure, they were fully hydrated(turgid) and seemed to have brighter colors than before. Nice!😍 12/1: The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well. 12/3: ...early a.m... The harvested plants are already dry!?!?? And have excellent texture??? Wow..bud washing is for real..roughly 48 hours after I hung them to drip dry, and 40 hours after I put them in baskets in 50% RH/70f conditions with moderate airflow...usually takes 4 or 5 days to get a good slow-dry in the same conditions, so I'm convinced that this must be attributed to the bud-washing procedure. I'm sold! Here's the talley so far: plant #1 - 115g (plus 13g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #2 - 108g (plus 18g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #3 - 119g (plus 15g larf) - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] plant #4 -  92g (plus 6g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] - the smallest plant in the main area plant #5 - 112g (plus 22g larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] plant #6 -  75g (no larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] - grown in upper area under 200w ...afternoon: I flushed 6 of the last 7 plants for the first time today and harvested 4 more of them. I washed them and hung them to dry.....my dripping wet bathing beauties!😍

Last week went well. She is growing beautifully and is doing great! Can't wait to see what she becomes. Think she will be a decent sized plant for sure. Since last week she has had her lst ties adjusted and a few fan leaves removed. She was also relocated to another spot so she can grow to her potential. Seedsman's autos have been great for me. Started germinating Tropicana cookies & Orange Sherbet F1 FAST FLOWERING from Fast Buds, germinated in 24 hours, planted into jiffy starters & sprouted within 24 to 48 hours. So far I've been happy with Fast Buds genetics 100% success rate, 6 out 6 germinated FF1 & Auto's. Looking forward to see how these fast flowers go? This FF1 grow will start off my perpetual grow cycle again.
