The goal of this project is to explore each cultivar’s natural structure, flowering speed, resin production, aromas, and final quality while allowing every phenotype to express its own unique personality. This grow is cultivated entirely with the Plagron Terra nutrient line, maintaining a straightforward feeding schedule while documenting every stage of development through macro photography and weekly reports. Every plant receives exactly the same environmental conditions, allowing genetics to tell their own story. Black Diamond Plant A continues to show exactly why this strain caught my attention. She has established a thick central stem with evenly spaced internodes, while the lateral branches are already beginning to push outward, creating the framework for what should become a very productive canopy. Her leaves display a rich, healthy green with excellent turgor, showing that nutrition and irrigation remain well balanced. New growth is arriving rapidly and with good symmetry, suggesting that she has fully settled into her container and is now directing her energy toward vigorous structural development. Compared to many plants grown under the 12/12 From Seed method, she is maintaining a compact architecture while still producing enough internodal spacing to ensure future flower sites receive adequate light penetration. ⸻ 📷 This Week Behind the Lens This week’s photographs really highlight the quality of her structure. The side profiles reveal a strong main stem with excellent node stacking, while the overhead shots showcase an increasingly symmetrical canopy. The macro images capture healthy new growth emerging from every node, giving an excellent preview of the flowering sites that are beginning to form. One of my favorite photos is the overhead shot where the plant resembles a perfectly balanced green star, each fan leaf extending naturally without competing for space. These are exactly the kinds of structural characteristics I enjoy documenting during early development because they often hint at the final architecture of the mature plant. ⸻ 🌿 Looking Ahead As she enters the coming week, I expect Plant A to begin transitioning fully into her stretch phase. The secondary branches should accelerate noticeably, gradually transforming the compact vegetative structure into a canopy filled with evenly distributed flowering sites. If she continues at this pace, she has every opportunity to become one of the standout Black Diamond phenotypes within the project. For now, the objective remains simple: maintain stable environmental conditions, continue the current feeding schedule, and let her natural genetics guide the process. Just got back from a 10-day vacation and the Gorilla Melon has completely lost its mind! The AutoPot system worked flawlessly—the reservoir ran bone dry literally right as I walked through the door, so talk about perfect timing. The girl absolutely exploded during the summer heatwave and turned into a massive jungle monster, to the point where she’s literally knocking on the ceiling fan. The thrips are still a problem, though. The green lacewing larvae did not win the war while I was away. I will need to cut some leaves that don't look good and do a major cleanup. In just a few minutes, I’m taking the trimmers out to hack about 50 cm off the top to control her height and completely strip the bottom third for some fresh airflow. But overall, we are still in a good mood. Time to shape her up!

After a long journey, we’ve finally reached harvest time for the SLH x RS11. This strain proved to be tall and resilient, handling the entire cycle with strength. Visual Appeal: As it reached the final stages, it developed beautiful deep red and purple hues, making it a true standout in the tent. While it takes a bit longer to fully mature, the wait is absolutely worth it. Aroma & Terpene Profile: The scent isn’t overwhelmingly strong, but it’s incredibly unique—a blend of lemon and soap, with a fruity sweetness and a funky, almost creamy-gassy undertone. Now onto drying and curing—let’s see how it smokes!

4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I will be taking two clones from each to breed over the next few weeks depending on when I am going to flip them. 4/3/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Veg (Day 61 overall) A little FIMing, A little Topping, and a Little bit of defoliation. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

I was lazy with changing water for the first two weeks but I change water weekly and it looks like she’s enjoying what I’m feeding her. Although one plant is growing after than the other.

Beginning week 5 of Flower, day 29 of Flower. Already past the half way mark. Thos strain goes between 50-55 day for the right amount of trichome ratio that i like to harvest. Ive grown this plant out a few times now. Never ceases to amaze on the outcome. Stay tuned!

Week two, girls seem to be OK still, although I have little clue as to how big they should be! May 11th (day 9 since planting sprouted seeds into final pots), I think they are doing OK? Pictures are from May 11th. No nutes given although I did add 0.5ml to 1 litre water, in a sprayer, but have restrained myself from using it yet!! Watering has been using bottled spring water which I leave (5ltr bottles) in the grow tent so it's the same temp as air and substrate. I've pretty much let them dry out between watering. Raised light height a little as I have a small amount of curl on the leaf ends. I also made the fan a little less direct. I feel like I know this has to be light or fan related as the girls are not root-bound and all other parameters are fine. I could well be wrong of course, but I'm determined to learn what the girls want by changing the obvious parameters first before worrying about the big stuff. It's a very mild curl anyhow so I believe it'll be heat/light and fan related. Size-wise, the three are between 75 and 90mm tall and span in 95 to 110mm. If anyone has any thoughts I would love to hear/read them! May 12th I was really pleased to see the progress when I checked on them this morning. I have added a picture. The difference between yesterday and today is pretty clear. Things seem to be OK(?) but what do I know; this is my first grow following reading and learning a little. I've been spraying the leaves before lights out. Is this a good thing? I am aiming to LST the girls so, could anyone recommend when? How many nodes, how tall etc... It would really help me feel confident in the training. May 13th. Pretty amazed at how they're doing. Not that I particularly have anything to compare to experience-wise as these are my first grow. They're kinda praying a little so, doing some reading up on here, I have decided to raise the lights to 20" from 18". Maybe I should go higher? I'll see. Anyhow, temps went up over night as I had closed my grow room window so when I checked this morning they were sitting in 28.6C and 41% humidity. Now more stable at 25C and 47%. One thing I had not realised was how mercurial the temp and humidity would be and how quickly it changes so I need to be more mindful of this. I have added .5ml Biobizz Bio-Grow per 1ltr bottled spring water, although I am still using water only at this time, but in the next couple of days (start of week 3) I will start adding low dose nutes and then foliage spraying them just before lights out and see what that brings. I can always back it off I guess. It's all a bit of educated guesswork, currently, whilst I find my feet with this! May 14th. Decided to hold back on the nutes; Biobizz schedule is seemingly for cuttings and not seedlings so I think I've avoided a potential issue there, given that the Biobizz All-mix soilds have enough nutes to carry the seedlings through almost to flowering of the autos. So, I will remain on giving just bottled spring water until day 21, so, another 1.5 weeks. Then I think I'll add grow and bloom together at the suggested rates. I have some foliar spray mixed up with grow at 0.5ml/L which I think I will use for misting just before lights-out. No picture today... but I will post pics tomorrow instead. May 15th, day 13. Pictures uploaded. The girls are getting really broad, but height only 110mm. Should I raise my lights which are at 19" above top of canopy. They're certainly growing and seem healthy! Still watering (every two days, allowing for an almost dry substrate using the finger/knuckle test in the soil. May 16th, day 14. Started LST with bendy pipe cleaners. Honestly, it was nerve-wracking. I placed anchors at the base and did a simple bend to between 55 and 70 degrees across them. Only thing is, some of the canopy/lower leaves are almost touching the substrate so, should I trim them? I couldn't get up to the top to pull down either and had to go lower, as the plants are very young and squat, seemingly, so not a lot of spacing so I did what I could, anchoring under whatever was free in terms of space. Tomorrow - week 3 of veg starts!

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

Close to the end of week 5 of for the two on the left. Starting to fatten up and fill the top 10 inches of most stalks. Pretty happy so far. The girl on the far right is just starting to form resin glands, hopefully she packs em in because she's on track to have some nice nugs. Looks like she's a little darker green this week. I should just cut her out of the rdwc and fix her. Day 77 moved the three girls to a bigger tent with a couple other autos. Decided to keep them all in rdwc vs dwc because i'm lazy. I did clean everything pretty good though

We are watching trichomes every day and it looks like it is almost ready so we are thinking of harvesting next week. It is already possible to see some amber trichomes. Unfortunately it seems that we are not going to harvest the expected amount, the buds were not very dense and fat, apparently the buds are just small leaves with trichomes.

This strain was an easy girl to grow. Very vigorous and towered over her double grape sister. She didn't develop the most dense nugs but I will attribute that to my lame light setup during this grow. She grew under 2 mars 300s and 1 hlg65 4000k in between. I've rolled 1 joint that got me pretty baked. I would judge this particular pheno as sativa leaning. I also vaped a bowl through the mighty and she still has a very green taste because She hasn't been curing very long. She developed a beautiful color when she ripened at the end of flower and yielded 54.8 dry grams of beautiful buds. I had probably another 40 or 50 grams of trim from this lady also. Next time I grow this strain, I will be dropping her in a much bigger pot. Harvested when trichomes were mostly foggy with maybe 5% amber. The biggest auto I have grown yet.

Day 57 26/08/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. No plagron products as noticed burning again. (I think I'll do a run using advanced. And Plagron. Just to see what's different. ) There all showing great progress!! Divine seeds - auto Overdose, the main bud is so compact and dominant it looks great! Defoliation of lower two fans that started to turn in colour. Apart from that left her to it ✌️💚 Day 59 28/08/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today, 400ml with little to no run off. Day. 61 30/08/24 Friday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with Plagron products.
