In the past week, one of my Forum Stompers has gotten massive compared to the others. I'm not sure if it's different phenos or me just stressing them out. I'm guessing it's stress. Hopefully the other 3 start to hit their stretch this week. I did some defoliating this week, and spent a lot of time on the big tall one. She's really opened up and catching a lot of light. I'm hoping the branches really start to get heavy and frosty over the next couple of weeks.

Bad Guy is showing some serious growth, but some lower leaves have started to yellow. I've increased feeding and will keep a close watch. 🌱💧 Don't worry, it's all part of the process!

Wow, another week done. It's become an absolute jungle in my greenhouse. A few of the GG4/Sherbets tops had to be mainlined since they're hitting the top of the greenhouse at 7ft8in tall. The smell is definitely getting stronger every day and it goes from super pungent, to sweet, to almost tropical. They're all still looking nice and healthy. The Athena Blended Line works wonders with my well water as the plants couldn't be happier. All in all Happy Growing.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . I'm not sure I'll go through all this effort of documentation here again, but please follow along on my instagram, stay in touch and chill out with me sometime @Fullmeltalchemist.00 All in all, I was running 1000w of quantum board across three tents and pulled just over 1100 grams, which was a big goal of mine. Tag 40: Ich gebe zusätzlich Alg a mic in das Gießwasser zur Stressbehandlung. Tag 46: Ich habe mich entschlossen diesen Grow abzubrechen. Seit kurzem werden die Blätter hell und fühlen sich trocken an. Ich vermute es liegt daran das ich einmal ein großen Schluck zu hartes Wasser genommen habe. Ich hatte einmal zuwenig Gießwasser vorbereitet (PH wert eingestellt 6,3) und es lief unten nicht raus so nahm unvorbereitetes (PH wert 7 etwa) Wasser zum Schluss, zunächst wuchs die Pflanze normal weiter, doch nach 1-2 Wochen stagniert das Wachstum die Blätter sind hell und trocken, auch die neuen Triebe sehen nicht gut aus.

So these 2 grew a little different, one from the other... They really thought me so much... Great growth all grow throughout and the low hight helped to avoid light burn, something I had trouble with last time. Will chop the second one in a few days time and add more info... Added some Bison pics

El día 15 de Agosto recibió la segunda pulverización de Bacillus Thuringiensis para prevenir el ataque de las orugas. Sigo alternando riego de agua un día con riego de Ascophillum Nodosum al día siguiente. He dejado de regar con Cannazym.

Vamos familia sexta semana de floración de estás apollo black cherry de SeedStockers. Que ganas tengo de ver el progreso de esta variedad, las plantas están sanas, se ven con buen color. La cantidad de agua cada 48h entre riegos. Esta semana añadimos nutrientes de la gama Agrobeta. Las plantas están bastante bien subió algo la temperatura esta semana pero por el momento no les afectó, a ver si consigo bajar un poco la temperatura estas próximas semanas y acabamos todo bien. Me pasé de mano con la comida pero solucionaré con agua destilada en un riego. Estas próximas semanas veremos como avanzan y como engordan las flores. I can see this strain having a great yield and quality potential with consistent optimal conditions, but haven’t found it the most resistant to any nutrient and ph imbalance or fluctuations.

Not a lot to report this week. The buds are growing well and the plants look healthy. They look bigger and better than my other 8 ball kush grows. I’m looking forward to the results.

Still learning day by day. Felt like I should back track a bit on the amount of nutes I have been feeding so I did almost cut my dosage in half for the past two watering. So far, so good. Training the girl on the right is a breeze (almost at the point where I would just let her be) but feel the need to keep training her to get down to the girl on the lefts height. Other than that, knock on wood, things are going well in my opinion! Another week or so of veg then it's time to flip! Can't wait!

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. switched the plant to 12/12 so far really not much difference other then a few inches of height. i do have some questions with leaves if anyone can take a look. for pretty much throughout this plants life as a clone ive had issues as it was my first photo and first plant in general. now after many recoveries the plant consistently having a decent amount of leaves look a little either burnt or deficiency stricken. now on another forum i was told nute burn. but im not really doing strong nutes, even after just water its still exhibiting this issue. the ph has been consistently alright. i just dont see what im doing wrong and a little nervous for flowering whats to happen.

Welcome to Week 1 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow courtesy of the fine folks at Sweet Seeds! This is the second of three consecutive grows/diaries that I am doing to showcase the tried and tested genetics from this reputable seed breeder. My last grow was a smashing success so I have high hopes for this grow as well. Nothing much to report for Week #1 although I will mention that the first watering was only 0.7 of a litre per plant (0.18 of a litre per plant per day) and the second was 1.4 litres per plant (0.35 of a litre per plant per day). I am watering on my usual schedule of every fourth day as this seems to be the sweet spot throughout past grows. I am using the usual- air bubbled tap water that is PH’d to around 6.0 and if need be (over the winter months in Canada) warmed to 68-70 degrees prior to hand watering with a small watering can. The seedling that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves is fine but still a little smaller than her sisters. So now on to Mom’s tip of the week… Mom’s Tip for Week #1 is- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- QUALITY IS KEY!… When considering growing Cannabis, even on a small scale, quality is an important factor in all aspects from the seeds to set up to the supplies used throughout the grow. Starting with seeds from a established breeder will raise the odds considerably in your favour for a successful outcome. Many seed companies are more than willing to ship out freebies while building up their brands which seems attractive to new growers- but use at your own risk! There’s nothing worse than being halfway through a grow and discovering male flowers tucked in amongst the lowest branches or realizing that your beautiful buds have been mysteriously pollinated just weeks before harvest. I know that seeds from a reputable seed breeder are usually more expensive and can be hard to access in certain parts of the world. But purchasing quality seeds from a reputable seed company is the first step towards homegrown Cannabis success. An area that new growers often overlook due to the high price is the quality of crucial components in their set up- including tent, lights, and intake/exhaust fans. Anyone can get away with cheaper pots, oscillating corner fans, water pumps for dechlorination, etc but it’s worth every penny investing into the workhorses of your entire operation. An initial investment of around two thousand dollars will provide serious growers with the longevity and hassle free basics needed. If done right, quality components will pay for themselves within the first 6-12 months of use and continue to serve your needs for 3-5 years to come. Supplies used throughout the grow are the final area where quality is important but somewhat subjective too. Although I’ve already stated that I don’t feel the need to spend big dollars on all the extras (pots, oscillating fans, water pumps for dechlorination, PH/moisture meters, etc- I do believe in doing my homework to make sure that I’m getting the best bang for my buck. I thoroughly research every item purchased and used in my grows by reading customer reviews, speaking with other growers and sometimes even trial and error at my own expense. Making quality an important factor in all aspects of Cannabis cultivation will benefit you, your grows and the planet we live on. 🌳🌎🌳
