Getting near the end now. Plants are smelling magnificent! I think it'll be two more weeks until harvest. Fingers crossed the buds continue to gain weight. I'll be fully stoked if I get an ounce of nice flower off each plant.

This is her last week! WHAT A STUNNER! . She just got an ice flush and was flushed with plain water all week. The fade is coming in strong. She is a beast for a lady growing in a 3 gallon pot. Soaked in all that light and took the nutes like a champ. Sort of disappointed that I only have one of these seeds! I got her on a trade! And didn’t clone. The buds are slightly airy—- but common for a haze. The resin is ON POINT—- she is very sticky! The now is a sweet berry musk almost. And the bud production has been fantastic without any training at all! Update next week!!! Cannot wait!! ✌️🏻💚🌿

I'm continuing to flush all three and the #1 and #2 pheno's are really getting some beautiful coloration! The #3 plant that has struggled the entire run is so pale she almost looks white, but she's the terpiest of the three, which I think is due to the stresses that she's been under. All three cultivars are covered in frost, and on the #1 and #2 pheno's the trichomes even cover their shade leaves! 1/5- After checking the trichomes on all three I decided to begin their 72 hours in the dark when today's light cycle is finished. All three plants have 85-90% milky trichomes with 5% amber showing, and will continue to mature during the 72 hour dark period before they are hung to begin the drying process. 1/8- Well, today is the day! All three Strawberry Gorilla's were released from 3 days in 'dark🌑jail' and all three look absolutely gorgeous! 😍 All three Strawberry Gorilla's are loaded with trichomes, and each has its own unique terpene profile with the #3, shockingly the 'loudest' of the trio. The #2 is the best looking of the bunch IMO, with the #1 taking the middle slot. After taking some pic's of all three, I cut them each off at their base and hung them in my AC Infinity 4x4 to dry for 10-14 days. I have the tent equipped with a de-humidifier, humidifier, and a fan to keep the air gently circulating. It's winter here so I'm pulling in outside air into the tent which is keeping the temp's in the 55-60℉ range, and I'm keeping the RH at 50% for the first 24hrs, then I'll up it to 60% for the remainder of the hang time. We zijn week 11 ingegaan en ze groeit (ondanks de koude nachturen 17°C) heerlijk verder. Wat is ze uiteindelijk toch prachtig geworden na de moeizame eerste weken. Hulkalicious. De toppen worden zichtbaar dikker en ze verspreid een heerlijke kush geur uit. Laten we zien hoe ze zich verder ontwikkeld deze week. Ik zal gedurende de week nog verse foto's uploaden. 👌🏽

Die Pflanze entwickelt sich prächtig und wird immer durstiger, bald kann ich sie toppen und umtopfen 😘 An Tag 22 habe ich die Pflanze bei 5 Nodien getoppt. Umgetopft am 26. Tag. 15L Am nächsten Tag ist Kleine um ein vielfaches gewachsen. 5 cm !!!😲 So das ich auch gleich auf das volle Spektrum meiner Beleuchtung wechselte 😃

August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

Week 12 Flower 8 Pink Rozay This week was all about checking trichomes. Pink Rozay trichomes show mostly milk and amber. There are a few heads that are dark brown that indicate too late to harvest. The older pistils are turning orange brown and water consumption is slowing down. These and the trichome indicators indicate readiness. Based on this, I put Pink Rozay in the cool garage with low light and ice on top of the pot at night this week. Buds are growing and trichomes are coming! :) The smell is now quite strong. I still poor +/- 2l in each pot during each watering (a little bit more for the 26l pots). I noticed that the leaf tips of all the plants become brown/yellow even far away from the light. I think it's because of a lack of nutrient so I started to progressively give BioBloom to all the plants. I removed some leaves here and there to have a better buds exposure. Plants heights at the end of the week: Honey Melon Haze : 120cm (+4) O.G. Kush : 75cm (+3) Mandarin Punch #1 : 140cm (+13) Mandarin Punch #2 : 123cm (+6) The plants are now slowing their growth. I hope they will stop soon because the light is almost at the maximum height. The Mandarin Punch #1 is the highest plant I ever grow!

Deep breaths... alright well things changed rapidly this week. She went downhill quick. Signs of potassium deficiency, but that shouldn’t be a problem. Thinking, after checking runoff, she faded a little too acidic (I had stopped checking regularly as I’ve had minimal issues on previous 5 grows). She got a nice flush, with final run off reading at 6.4. She only has 2 weeks or so to go, so not panicking; if anything just a learning experience. Her flush was yesterday; she’s scheduled for feeding on Tuesday, so we will see how things go. Video/photos taken 63 days after breaking soil.
