I love this strain. Really strong genetics. Nice fruity and og kush like smell. Cant wait to harvest and try them.

This strain is going to give a lot of big buds, its developing very well. It smells like sweet sour mango.

Got an ounce from her. Not too much as far as yield but the dense bud structure and purple hues made it all worth while. Pressing it for rosin and it is perfect.

4/9/25 This plant is beyond frosty. Stacking up super nicely. Seems like she will yeild quite a bit. My only gripe is that she has like no smell at all. Using the foil as a soil cover is working quite nicely. the top soil is getting filled with roots quite well. Top dressed 1tsp of Bloom 1tsp microbe charge 1tsp bloom

🤗 Hi fellow growers. We are back here to harvest the Northern Lights Auto from Seedsman. She took 11 weeks to finish flower and a total of 15 weeks from seed to harvest. 🌱Growing her was a little tricky as she was finicky at the beginning of flower. She wasn't the fastest auto but she put on some tall colas with some fair amount of resin smelling of sour stone fruit such as a plum. Chopped her down then dryed for 14 days in a environment controlled room. Then began the trimming process. After a nice manicure the plum smelling buds were then placed in a jar to set cure for 30 days. There was quite a bit of larf nugs on the bottom skirts that I should have trimmed off during the flowering cycle but sometimes I like keeping them to press into some rosin before my nugs are cured. I find that pressing the flowers with in the first week of the curing process produces the best quality flower rosin In the end I'm left with a gram and a half of some beautiful Northern Lights flower rosin that tastes and smells like a sour plum and packs a big punch. About a 10% return so not the greatest yield but it sure is some high quality rosin. Keep it mind it was the larf flower and I press at 180°F to preserve as much flavor as I can. I'm after quality and have been achieving that. Effects - Relaxing, calming, Happy Yield - 68 g nice nuggets 14 g of larf that went to rosin Smell - Sour plum Forrest Taste - Skunky plums

After the 3rd week and noticed about 15 plants weren't growing so I got rid of them. There are still a few that aren't nearly as big as the majority so I'll give them another week or 2 and if no improvement I'll get rid of them and only the strongest will survive!

from the original grow ive only kept the 2 pineapple express and the 3 grandaddy purples... ive sent one of the grandaddy purples to flower its probably in week 2 right now and i will be making a diary about it. the northern light ive turned into a mother so its no longer a part of this grow diary since its going to be kept in the vegetative state. ill be sending 1 pineapple express and 2 grandaddy purples to flower in the flower tent. as of next week.. i will feed them bud ignitor an begin the process :)

This week has progressed nicely - the plant is starting to work on fresh leaves and is pushing the second node now. This plant is looking really healthy and strong so far! Today marks week three - so I will be switching my light to 18/6 until flower - which wont be for a while since I do mainlining - generally my veg time is stretched out quite a bit because of that. I will be keeping this updated as I go along and I am excited to share the progress! This is organic living soil - no bottles - nothing made in a lab. Today I harvested about two pounds of worm castings from one of my worm bins - you can see in the pictures some friends decided to come along for the ride! I mixed the castings with basalt, glacial rock dust, crab meal, kranja cake, kelp meal, and neem meal - then top dressed with that mixture, working it down into the soil a bit with my fingers, and then watered that all in with about a gallon of water. I really like to grow in this large raised bed - its the entire size of my tent which makes it completely impossible to move during a grow cycle but I love the fact that each plant in this 2x4 raised bed essentially has 50 gallons of soil all to itself! Woche 5 03.08.24 - 10.08.24 Das Wachstum geht ungehindert weiter....! Diesmal konnte ich leider keine Fotos machen, da ich in der Woche wenig nach den Pflanzen schauen konnte. Dafür kleine Zeitraffervideos von der Zeltkamera. Die Pflanzen zeigen leichte Anzeichen einer Überdüngung. Daher wurde diese Woche nur bei jeder zweiten bis dritten Bewässerung gedüngt. Außerdem wurde die Beleuchtung umgestellt von der Lumii auf 2x Sanlight Evo 120er da sie endlich nach mehrmonatiger Verspätung angekommen sind. Die Werte Temperatur, Luftfeuchtigkeit und VPD füge ich nachträglich noch ein. Die Behandlung mit dem Neemöl bringt leichte Besserung. Ab Montag kommen noch Nematoden zusätzlich mit in die Box, da ich ab jetzt nicht mehr das Neemöl benutzen möchte aufgrund der langsam voranschreitenden Blüten.

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Dosidos continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall with stacked buds. I am interested to see how big the buds will be. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. Day 70 after switch. its going to end soon I think. 65 - 70 days recomended by breeder. Maybe I will just not water again and let her slowly die 😱 she looks good - beatutifull almost - although I inspected a problem at one of the buds... more in my question that I will create. bigger leafs are getting soaked out of nutritions and start to get yellow. probably the last time you see her alive.
