Rhino Filters’ Hobby 30 Filter in the 200 × 600 mm size is a lightweight carbon filter for small to mid‑size extraction systems. It uses virgin Australian RC4‑12 activated carbon in a 30 mm bed to adsorb odours and volatile compounds, inside a perforated aluminium body with a reversible neck and swappable base to even wear. On the official specification, this model is compatible with fans up to 1125 m³/h and is designed to mount on the intake side of an extractor fan (pull‑through configuration), not on the outlet. Typical service life is 9–12 months under normal humidity. The 200 mm spigot matches 200 mm ducting, making it a drop‑in option for 8‑inch exhaust runs in tents and compact rooms.
