Johnson’s Nat. Gas Stainless Steel CO2 Generator is a hanging greenhouse burner built by Johnson Gas Appliance Co. for natural-gas operation. The stainless model follows the classic unit’s performance: a 20,000–60,000 BTU/h burner range with up to 60,000 BTU/h input, producing about 72 cubic feet of CO2 per hour (approximately 8.25 pounds/hour) to enrich spaces near 4,800 square feet, based on 1,500 ppm with one air change per hour. A 24 V gas valve with flame-safety shutoff and the onboard pressure gauge enable output adjustment. Operation requires a 115V/24V transformer; an optional controller/timer package is available. The compact cylindrical body is roughly 18 inches in diameter and 20 inches high, intended to hang out of the way for reliable CO2 supplementation in controlled environments.
