TrolMaster’s ARS-1 AC Remote Station lets Hydro‑X controllers automate mini‑split and some window AC units that use an infrared handset. The ARS‑1 “learns” the codes from the original remote, then transmits them to the indoor head via the included IR emitter, switching between user‑defined day and night temperature setpoints based on photocell status. It connects to Hydro‑X over RJ12 and requires no external power. An LCD makes setup straightforward, with address assignment and micro‑SD support for firmware updates. Specs include 0–11.5 V output, 0.2 A max current, and 32–122°F operating temperature (≤90% RH). Package includes IR emitter, 16‑ft and 4‑ft RJ12 cables, and RJ12 T‑splitter. Not compatible with certain brands, including Daiken, Mr. Cool, Innovair, Denali Aire, and Cooper and Hunter.
