ARS-2 AC Remote Station

The TrolMaster ARS-2 AC Remote Station is an infrared interface module for Hydro‑X, Tent‑X and Green‑X controllers. It learns the IR codes from a mini‑split or compatible window‑type AC remote and lets the controller automate the unit. ARS‑2 expands on ARS‑1 by supporting temperature values in AUTO, COOL and HEAT modes. Day and Night setpoints can be configured; the connected controller uses its photocell and temperature sensor to determine which period is active and transmits the appropriate IR command. The module is powered through its RJ12 link (no separate power supply) and includes a micro‑SD slot for firmware updates. Operating specs include 12 VDC input, 0.1 A max current, 32–122°F working temperature, and ≤90% RH working humidity.
