Couple of days later- 3 1/2" tall- taking off- Need to check PPM(when new pen arrives today) and adjust(1/4 nutes or less of 3 pt. GH Flora).Have small ceramic heater and water to raise temp and humidity(cold basement & 30 per. RH. Tent temps avg. 80 deg.& rh 40.Thanks for the comments(Finitos & Hydrokitty- Hydro is not that hard- just use K.I.S.S. principle( don't overthink it) Monitor twice daily, cause things happen quick in hydro-but Hydroguard works to fight worse possible(Root Rot)My roots are always MASSIVE and clean white, even when res. temps have been 74 deg.

@Ripper, Thanks man, hope I didn't shock them with all the trimming- but they are very healthy. Do take a lot of maintenance with single buckets compared to one reservoir.

Ridiculous difference in the leaf development between these and my blue widows in soil. These are HUGE by comparison. Have to see what happens now that the girls are topped and starting to grow a lot faster. Since we're neighbors, we can have a smoke off when we're done :)

Thanks, Fitznick- just had our 1st growers meeting off another page (my state has legal rec. as of Dec.15th) and that was amazing-such diversity in technique-traded seeds,samples, shared tips, had drinks and food. The way it should be.Bunch of folks all in on their favorite hobby.

Ok, now its getting to be Zen time- Got lazy this AM. Didn't check my girls, so came home tonight & went in stealth mode(dark period) with led flashlight(shaded by hand so as not to wake the girls- and watered them in the dark( counting in my head as pump ran, to top off- Lots of practice) They went thru 6 1/2 gal. since yesterday AM.( that's on 4 4 gal. buckets) Took pics in total darkness(other than flash going off and appears 1st 2 plants are in pre-flower, with other 2 right behind. About freakin time!! been 17 days since 12/12 flip.But all my topping probably slowed things down- but many ,many budsites as a result- shooting for the 16 zip+ grow. And no LST or Scrog this round(do to time)- JUST Scissors, fingernails, and ROCK & ROLL

Thanks for the positive comments- so many ways to do this and I seem to have found a great combination( for me) that works. Takes a lot more work than people realize and always refining my methods to try to make the workload less. Good luck to all in their endevors

Grew 5" in 3 days(30" avg.)- day 38- Eating and drinking dialed in- steady Ph and PPm dropping~ 100 per day- gonna have Height issues again if stretch continues at this rate- flipped on 3/10, so 8 days @ 12/12- have grown 8" since 3/10, so in. per day avg. !

Day 34- eating and drinking hard- had to addback 1 gal. per plant+ food( had dropped to 550 ppm in 3 days; back to avg. 800 ppm

Day 31- Addback 1 gal. with food- flipped to 12/12- @ 24" avg. Been topping like crazy with no apparent shock And no deficiencies showing

In 5 days (day 29) we are hitting 2 FT.-Been topping everything in sight, to spread and slow growth- Changed res. on each- running avg. PH-6.0-ppm-750-Ignored during WW Chop(3 days of HELL) and got back today. All is good! Just burnt from dealing with the other( 3 days trimming ,drying, too much trim to deal with(talking 2' by 6' ft. stick of butter or 400 dozen chocolate cookies!!LOL

Topped yesterday-Grew 1 1/2" overnight- starting to suck up water/nutes. Need to move to big tent as soon as I can chop current(1 week?) Raised lights 2" to avoid light burn. Rock & Roll!! Start some more after move.

All up for that,Bos- I keep trying to get people to the DARK SIDE(Hydro) but they don't get it. Only issue is the dreaded root rot-use hydroguard- Soil confines roots, making it work harder,issues (nut. def., bugs,handwatering-PIA) all in hydro shows quick- and fixes quick- no worries- Ph pen and PPM meter(both cheap)- I'm an old school guy(61) and soil is natural( but not best) Just topped mine today- so on same track. Had minor in Botany at UT. so know enough to be serious. Don't want to spend 4+ months growing some spindly ass shit that gives me 2 OZ. Looking for poundage!! Got some 1 hit Dank if you want to hook up.

Running @ 6.0 & avg.700 ppm-these are 24 days from germination- just topped today(painful, but necessary) 2 weeks until other grow is done, then into big tent with 2 600 wt. and lots of room to explode(4 by 8' ) Then start some more, or some clones off this grow. Got to get going on my RDWC project and go 8 buckets for big site.
