Week 1: March 21 2021 - March 27 2021 Seed sprouted within 48 hours but came up root first. I delicately turned it around and lightly buried it. Leaves first popped up on Day 3, but the root started shooting back up as well. Buried it a little bit deeper and added an extra layer of fresh soil on top. After a full week, the plant seems to have figured things out and is slowly starting to grow. After growing Girl Scout Cookies last year, I had to run this strain again. I tried buying more seeds but they've been sold out for over a month. This was my last seed for this particular strain, so I'm relieved everything worked out. If you have any questions, comments, tips, or advice, feel free to post below. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 2: March 28 2021 - April 3 2021 Great second week. Plant looks strong and has tight spacing between internodes. She is nice and compact, and continues to grow every day. Based on how good this plant turned out for me last year, I'm very excited to see what happens this season. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 3: April 4 2021 - April 10 2021 Great week for Girl Scout Cookies. I was able to get her outside for a few hours with the beautiful weather on Saturday. She has jumped up, but she is a bit slower than the other plants I'm growing. Her 4th node is just starting to fill out where the others are already on their 5th or sixth. Still, she gets bigger every day and looks super healthy. No complaints so far. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 4: April 11 2021 - April 17 2021 Great week with no issues. Leaves were a little droopy even after a drink, so I decided to raise the lights a few inches higher. Girl Scout is growing as fast as Blue Dream, and I'll most likely be topping them in the next week or so. Thanks for stopping by. Have a safe 4/20. Cheers!

Week 6: April 25 2021 - May 1 2021 Gril Scout Cookies has recovered from the topping and is developing some awesome side branching. Not much else to report on, just another solid week. Hoping to get this girl outside if the weather cooperates in the next 2 weeks, but if not, May Long Weekend is the goal. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 7: May 2 2021 - May 8 2021 Insane growth from Girl Scout Cookies this week. Side branches at the bottom have almost caught up to the top of the canopy, and new shoots appear almost daily. Plant is branching off and growing nicely after topping a couple weeks back. Cleaned up a couple fan leaves at the bottom, but no other maintenance or changes. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 8: May 9 2021 - May 15 2021 Great weather this week so the plants spent a few hours outside enjoying the sun. Forecast is looking good so plants should be outside in their final homes by next week. No other issues, just strong growth. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 10: May 23 2021 - May 29 2021 We got rain on Friday and temperatures dropped to 2 degrees (35 F)! Covered the plants with garbage bags in the morning and then removed them on Saturday. Luckily, it was only one freak day and the weather is back to normal now... Only in Canada... 😂 Plants were a little shocked, showing drooping leaves and bent branches, but they seem to have bounced back after the weekend. Girl Scout Cookies continues to put on height with large internode spacing. The plant is also growing long stems with its leaves, but hasn't branched out as much as others in my grow. Will probably top the plant again in a few days once it's fully recovered from the drop in tempertaure. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 11: May 30 2021 - June 5 2021 Topped Girl Scout Cookies on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Clipped the main two branches around the 5th node. Did some light defoliation on the bottom of the plant, and removed a few fan leaves in the middle to expose more growth sites. I was a little nervous topping this plant again because she was growing long and lanky with large spaces between internodes and long stems on the fan leaves. Plant has really been pushing new growth since being clipped again. The stalk and branches have gotten bigger almost daily and her fan leaves are getting huge. She is really starting to branch out now and really fill out. She might need some support when new branches get bigger and taller. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 14: June 20 2021 - June 26 2021 Girl Scout Cookies is doing well and really looking strong. A few fan leaves starting to turn yellow near the bottom and in the middle of the plant, but other than that she gets bigger every day. Smooth sailing again this week, no issues at all. Week 15: June 27 2021 - July 3 2021 Hot, rainy and humid this week. Now that it's July and the plants are a few months old, I have switched over to stronger nutrients to give the plants a boost in P and K. Figure this will help as the days get shorter and the plants continue to transition into flower. Noticing a few yellowing leaves so it looks like that plants need a bit more food. I will slowly increase the nutrient dosage weekly and keep monitoring the plants. Trimmed and cleaned up the plants again over the weekend. I should have better pictures for next week's update. Girl Scout is doing fantastic and looking just as good as last year. She is really starting to stretch and put on height and branches are coming in strong. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 20: August 1 2021 - August 7 2021 Noticing a lot more dying leaves so I decided to switch to higher quality nutrients. Flushed out the plants and introduced General Hydroponics Flora Series, and GH's version of CalMag. Made a 4 L (1 gallon) mixture and fed it across the 4 plants in my garden. I realized this was not enough and a few days later I tried 1 gallon for just one plant. This seemed wasteful because a lot drained out the bottom of the pot, so I'm doing half dosage in 2-2.5 L (1/2 gallon) of water and feeding twice a week now instead of once. Let me know in the comments if you have any suggestions. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 21: August 8 2021 - August 14 2021 Nutrients seem to be working well, I can say that I have noticed a difference in 2 weeks. Last week of veg! Girl Scout is starting to push out more flowers and looks like she has finally stopped stretching. She looks almost identical to the plant I grew last year, so I am hoping for similar results in both appearance, and yields. Very excited to watch this girl bloom. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 22: August 15 2021 - August 21 2021 (Flowering Begins) Super hot and humid this last week with no rain. Been watering the plants almost daily. Decided to clean up and defoliate dying leaves near the bottom and center, and did a bit of lollipopping. Girl Scout Cookies is progressing nicely with no complaints. She has a had a few yellowing leaves, but she is so full it really isn't a big deal. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 24: August 29 2021 - September 4 2021 Girl Scout started yellowing rapidly at the bottom and center, so I decided to up the nutrients and am feeding a gallon (4 L) to each plant now. Think it's because of my lack of maintenance this year, I didn't clean up a lot underneath the canopy this season. Plant seems to have responded and isn't yellowing as bad. Starting to see some purple show up in the leaves as well. GSC is progressing nicely so far. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
