Bubba Kush - Outdoor 2021

Week 1: March 28 2021 - April 3 2021 This plant is 1 week behind from the others because my original sprout did not make it. Planted another seed on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Week 2: April 4 2021 - April 10 2021 Sprout is doing great and is trying to catch up to the others. It's crazy how much bigger the other plants are with just 1 week difference. Got the plant outside for a few hours on Saturday and it didn't seem to affect it. Not much else going on, just getting bigger every day. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 5: April 18 2021 - April 24 2021 Introduced a light dose of nutrients, and will continue feeding weekly from this point on. Plant is just starting to develop it's 6th node, will probably end up topping in the next week or so. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 5: April 25 2021 - May 1 2021 Topped Bubba Kush at the 6th node and cut off the bottom two. Plant has been extremely healthy and is keeping up with the others in my grow, despite being 1 week behind. Looking forward to how she turns out next week after recovering. Thanks for stopping by. Week 6: May 2 2021 - May 8 2021 This plant shot up fast in the last week, and has pretty much caught up to the other 3 plants in my grow. Side branches and the new tops are coming in a bit slower, but overall the plant is doing well. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 7: May 9 2021 - May 15 2021 Great weather this week so the plants spent a few hours outside enjoying the sun. Forecast is looking good so plants should be outside in their final homes by next week. No other issues, just strong growth. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 8: May 16 2021 - May 22 2021 Moved Bubba Kush outdoors on Monday, May 17, 2021 - Transplanted into 20-inch, 45 Liter pot (12 gallon) - Used a blend of Pro Mix Premium Potting Mix and Organic Black Earth topping soil Amazing weather this past week forced me to put the plants outside. Insane growth this week, Bubba Kush shot up a good 6 inches. Plant is a lot more compact than the other 3, and it's kind of on it's own on the other side of my yard. Fan leaves continue to get bigger and the plant is really pushing out new branches. No issues at all this week. Plants are extremely happy and loving their new homes. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 9: May 23 2021 - May 29 2021 We got rain on Friday and temperatures dropped to 2 degrees (35 F)! Covered the plants with garbage bags in the morning and then removed them on Saturday. Luckily, it was only one freak day and the weather is back to normal now... Only in Canada... 😂 Plants were a little shocked, showing drooping leaves and bent branches, but Bubba Kush was barely affected by the cold weather. This plant has been thriving since going outside. She has huge fan leaves and all side branches are growing into a nice even canopy. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 10: May 30 2021 - June 5 2021 Bubba Kush is doing absolutely amazing. Very impressed with this plant so far, she is a BEAST! She is just as tall as the other plants in my garden and she looks the strongest and healthiest so far. She has massive fan leaves and strong, thick branches. Week 11: June 6 2021 - June 12 2021 Topped Bubba Kush on Thursday, June 10, 2021. Clipped the main two branches around the 5th node. Did some light defoliation on the bottom of the plant, and removed a few fan leaves in the middle to expose more growth sites. Plant has turned into an absolute monster with huge fan leaves. I regret not topping her a little sooner, but I think she'll be alright. Plant is super healthy and adjusting to the stress. New shoots are growing every day and she should have new branches sticking out in the next week or so. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 12: June 13 2021 - June 19 2021 There is no stopping this plant! She has shot up to 3 feet tall and everything about her is looking great. Strong branches are coming in and her fan leaves seem to get bigger daily. Very happy with how this plant has turned out so far and am looking forward to when she starts to flower. Week 13: June 20 2021 - June 26 2021 Bubba Kush is doing great and keeps growing. 2 weeks after topping and new shoots and branches are starting to poke through the canopy. Plant is super strong and is currently the tallest plant in my garden. No problems or issues this week, just steady growth. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 14: June 27 2021 - July 3 2021 Hot, rainy and humid this week. Now that it's July and the plants are a few months old, I have switched over to stronger nutrients to give the plants a boost in P and K. Figure this will help as the days get shorter and the plants continue to transition into flower. Noticing a few yellowing leaves so it looks like that plants need a bit more food. I will slowly increase the nutrient dosage weekly and keep monitoring the plants. Bubba Kush continues to be a beast and gets bigger every day. Very excited for how this plant is going to turn out. Week 15: July 4 2021 - July 10 2021 No issues with Bubba Kush this week. A few older fan leaves at the bottom are starting to die off, but the plant is an absolute beast. Grows taller everyday and is showing no signs of slowing down. Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!

Week 19: August 1 2021 - August 7 2021 Noticing a lot more dying leaves so I decided to switch to higher quality nutrients. Flushed out the plants and introduced General Hydroponics Flora Series, and GH's version of CalMag. Made a 4 L (1 gallon) mixture and fed it across the 4 plants in my garden. I realized this was not enough and a few days later I tried 1 gallon for just one plant. This seemed wasteful because a lot drained out the bottom of the pot, so I'm doing half dosage in 2-2.5 L (1/2 gallon) of water and feeding twice a week now instead of once. Week 20: August 8 2021 - August 14 2021 Nutrients seem to be working well, I can say that I have noticed a difference in 2 weeks. Last week of veg for Bubba Kush. She is just over 4 and a half feet tall and is looking great. I'm going to try and spend some time next week cleaning her up and defoliating a bit more. Week 21: August 15 2021 - August 21 2021 (Flowering Begins) Super hot and humid this last week with no rain. Been watering the plants almost daily. Decided to clean up and defoliate dying leaves near the bottom and center, and did a bit of lollipopping. Bubba Kush looks great and is developing nicely. Week 23: August 29 2021 - September 4 2021 Bubba Kush is doing great and is really starting to develop some nice stacking. I have a feeling the colas on this plant are going to be massive.
