Week 9: May 16 2021 - May 22 2021
Moved Trainwreck outdoors on Monday, May 17, 2021
- Transplanted into 20-inch, 45 Liter pot (12 gallon)
- Used a blend of Pro Mix Premium Potting Mix and Organic Black Earth topping soil
Amazing weather this past week forced me to put the plants outside. Insane growth this week, Trainwreck is about 1 inch shorter than Blue Dream and Girl Scout Cookies.
One interesting thing to note is that there is a side branch that is growing 3 nodes on it instead of just 2. I'm tempted to top it to see if I can get 3 branches, but I don't know if it will get enough sunlight.
I'm also considering clipping it to try and clone it. Pretty bizarre, I've never seen a plant grow like that. Other than that, things are looking great.
Plants are extremely happy and loving their new homes.
Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
Looking great over there! Our plants are looking very similar in size and shape!
What are you using for soil and nutrients? I am using ProMix BX, worm casting, and Gaia Green 4-4-4.
Cheers and happy growing!π½π
@Zorachus, For soil I have been using Pro Mix Premium Potting Mix with a blend of black earth topping soil. For nutrients, nothing fancy, just a couple brands from the local garden centre that have different NPK ratios for veg and flowering. When it comes to nutrients, I find that less is more. I always start with at least half dosage, and always dilute with more water. If the instructions say mix in 2 L of water, I will put in 3 L. It is easier to deal with a deficiency, than an over-abundance or toxicity. The plants will tell you if they need more food, and then you just increase what they get. Hope this helps. Feel free to drop a question or comment any time, and good luck with your grow! Your plants are looking awesome, dude! Keep it up!
