Germination

Method for germination was a mixture of glass of water and paper towel. Due to going away I needed to boost the tap root and paper towel did just enough. Using a reptile mat to regulate air temp within a small table draw. Room air temp is around 18-20°c dropping overnight to sometimes single figures. A slight temp boost was preferential to ensure consistentcy and optimum germination temps of between 23-27°c Main concern at this stage is that I may have muddled up the seeds and picked the wrong one. If so it will be a Gelato Auto.

Drastic changes in external temperature from 17°c down to -1°c. First internally I was battling heat down and then later had to turn off extract to retain heat and boost with oil radiator linked to Inkbird. Day 1 - first site of green above ground. Nutrients: None Water: 1.5 litre to edges working in. Stayed near to seedling. Day 2 - slow and steady Nutrients: None Water: No water other than a small spray Day 3 - steady growth Nutrients: None Water: 1.5 litres Day 4 - good little burst Nutrients: none Water: Small spray to dampen surface 100ml max Day 5 Nutrients: none Water: 1.5 litres to edges small spray surrounding stem Added additional peat moss and vermiculite at same ratio to the top to compensate for initial contraction of substrate through saturation/ watering Day 6 Nutrients: None Water: 150ml sprayed to new peat moss to dampen Day 7 Nutrients: none Water: 1.5 litres to edges 1st week complete and has gone well.

Day 8 Nutrients: none Water: none *Will start feeding from next water (tomorrow or day after) Day 9 Nutrients: none Water: none *Happy that substrate seems to be saturated and holding moisture. No water today will wait until a couple of inches have dried off the top before next water and first addition of biobiz grow. Day 10 Nutrients - biobiz bio grow (2ml/1.5l) Water 1.5l Feed time: 60 mins pre-lights on. I'm hoping this will allow enough time to soak and give the plant the best conditions for uptake during light. Decided to take it easy with the feed so went 2/3's of recommend. Peat Moss has taken water well and retains efficiently thanks to the vermiculite. NB: Close internodal spacing which I believe is typical of the strain. Looks strong and healthy. Day 11 Nutrients: none Water: none Look healthy no signs of heat or light stress uniform green to leaves. No nutrient burn. Day 12 Nutrients: none Water: none pH levels seem low but might be inaccuracies of poor probe. No visual stress but decided not to water or feed today but will consider water to run off to test pH and EC/ ppm with more accuracy. Day 13 Nutrients: bio biz grow 2ml/ 1.5l (Ph 7.6) Peat moss Ph: 5.75 Water: 3 litres Note: Plant looks heathy so not concerned as nutrients kept to a minimum sand still early on so not expecting there to be a salt build up yet. Day 14 Nutrients: none Water: none (for another 2-3 days)

All temperatures play a big factor in growing. To high of a temp will cause your females to herm. To cold will stunt growth or shock your plants. Seedlings temps in my grow room 78-83 degrees 60-65% RH Veg 78-83 degrees 55-60% RH Flower 75-80 degrees 50% RH close to the end of flower I will drop temps even lower to around 68-74 degrees Drying room 65-70 degrees 62% RH for 10-14 days hope that helps

Hello everyone. I am having a battle with humidity especially during 'lights off'. I have reduced my 4" rvk fan using a dimmer plug but to no avail still sits around 35% RH how can I boost humidy would reducing temp during lights off would this help? Thank you 💚🙏

Don't worry about it. Your plants will be fine with atmospheric moisture levels. I do not know ANYONE in my country that has ever used or even worried about using a humidifier. Unless your humidity is zero or above 80%, there really isn't much real affect to upset your plants greatly.

Day 15 Nutrients: none Water: none LST to commence mid to later in the week Day 16 Nutrients: none Water: none (spray to surface to firm up peat moss following LST) LST started only had 10 mins before work so will tidy up later tonight. Day 17 Nutrients: Biobiz 4ml Bio grow 2ml top-max 2ml Bio-Bloom Water: 3 Litres (used 2 litres) Taken well to LST. Feed tea is Ph 4.45 so quite acidic. Will keep an eye on plant for any reduction in growth rate which may be due to inhibited nutrient uptake. Split some nutrients solution on plant pouring from 3l jug is inaccurate. Sprayed the leaves heavily with water 7.2ph. Day 18 Nutrients: none Water: none No nutrient damage to leaves Concerns remain over pH levels being so low. Ordered some Biobiz PH up. Day 19 Nutrients: none Water: none (small surface spray to bottom of main stem) Note: forgot to un-dim the lights yesturday so it's been a very dry cloudy day for the last 24 hours which has impacted growth. PH up not arrived in today's post so hopefully here in time for tomorrow's water and feed. Removed a couple of lower leaves to increase light penetration an free up space for continuing in a right turn Day 20 Nutrients: grow, top, bloom Water: 1.75 litres Used pH up to raise feed/ tea to pH 6.5 this should help create a buffer (Hopefully). Day 21 Nutrients: none Water: none

Hi fellow grower, can't really see evidence of calcium or magnesium deficiency. However she does look like she needs a feed. It also looks similar to sulphur deficiency so some epsom salts would be good for that. About 1/4 tsp to a ltr/Qrt of water. Use as a foliar spray just before lights go out or in morning. Spray everyday, Or add to your watering schedule. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

that info is pure bs. don't follow please. removing lst ties won't reset stress history of the plant and you'll lose the shape you put it in.There is simply no need to remove lst as plant already got over the stress.many people I've seen here don't know what is the signs of bending-low stress training stress. Plant looks droopy and stays behind other plants for a couple of days which is mistaken for overwatering. Then all the stress goes away as branches keep growing to the light, vegetation continues. Your plant seems to be happy with the training and have found its shape. lst doesn't cause a continuous stress. it's all temporary and usually goes away in a few days after bending. Now if you remove because it is in flowering, all effort will be gone and lower bud sites won't get the light because all of the bent branches will straighten up overnight.I've done it before, not because my plants were in flowering, but because ties were too crowded and thought about removing some. Shit happened and I had to start over.I didn't though. Autos are not pieces of glass, they can handle lst as well as photoperiods. Just put the ties on. this is a photoperiod plant's reaction to lst : https://media.growdiaries.com/static/post/photo/2308/3434418_golden-tiger-killer-a5-haze-congo-grow-journal-by-highroller909.jpg week after that : https://media.growdiaries.com/static/post/photo/2308/3465767_golden-tiger-killer-a5-haze-congo-grow-journal-by-highroller909.jpg while other enjoyed lst, this one was unsure about it and had a droopy sad look when I applied on it. You see the recovery in the second photo this one was an auto with lst on : https://media.growdiaries.com/static/post/photo/2308/1551893_blue-dream-039-matic-zkittlez-auto-lsd-25-cbd-1-1-aka-cbd-crack-girl-scout-cookies-grow-journal-by-highroller909-growdiaries.jpg and I loosened the rope a litle bit and look at the main stem. plant got much closer to the light,I've lost space because of that mistake : https://media.growdiaries.com/static/post/photo/2308/1563984_blue-dream-039-matic-zkittlez-auto-lsd-25-cbd-1-1-aka-cbd-crack-girl-scout-cookies-grow-journal-by-highroller909-growdiaries.jpg

Hey I checked your diary and I noticed you’re not feeding cal/mag. Cannabis plants generally use a lot of cal/mag throughout most of the grow. And your symptoms look very similar. I would start adding cal mag from here until a week before flush.
