Autos should be toped above the 4th node, removing the 5th pair of leaves. Personally I would not top outdoors, for some reason they just grow much slower than when indoors.

Wow, you start LST early! Best of luck with everything. Windowsill grows are awesome. You get the best of both worlds: free full-spectrum sunlight + the control of an indoor grow.
