yamadafakka First grow with Mammoth 120 x120x200 12 x cee cxb 3590 cob x 12 40 Powerplants 1 Blackberry kush 4 Runtz (Zamnesia) Everything is going really well so far. The Powerplants have settled in and are shooting up in height and width (with just one lagging behind). The Runtz have already been topped/FIMmed multiple times early on, and they have a nice dense canopy of growth spots (yeej)! The Blackberry kush mother needs a bit more nutrients, but is slowly catching up. When the bunch sticks out above the net, I’ll lower the platform a notch and trim everything back; we’ll probably go for lollipopping. Also added some ladybugs, but it’s still quite tricky to keep them in the tent! It’s really fun to see them scurrying around.

yamadafakka This week was disrupted by a power outage for a day (thankfully not caused by the growing equipment!) There are now many more ladybugs, it's really nice to see them going about their business. E.c. is now at 1.3/1.5 This might seem a bit high, but the cuttings can handle quite a bit. The ladies are growing so fast that I had to trim some leaves again to prevent them from choking at the Powerplants. The Runtz is already starting to show top formation. I also set up an irrigation system. This will be handy later when the canopy is too dense and you can't reach everywhere. To govern is to foresee! UPDATE!!! Question for the community with experience with cree cobs: I understand that the cobs can penetrate about 20 cm through the leaf canopy if you’ve defoliated well. Since my scrog will only reach a maximum of 40 cm, does it make sense to do some lollipopping in week three? After all, the light shines on the whole plant? Please respond in the comments!

yamadafakka Let me start by thanking the community for the tips and advice after my question this week, it was really appreciated! I've taken them into account in my decision. Thanks! Another week has gone by, you can't see anything from the trimming at the beginning of last week! It's only the beginning of the third week of flowering and the buds are already starting to form nicely for a few days. I'm giving the ladies (especially the Runtz!) one last trim before the flowering really starts, and I'm raising the EC from 1.6 to 1.8. They can handle it, it seems. I'm also going to tuck the outliers back under the net where I can, the stems are already quite thick by now!

yamadafakka Already reached the end of week 3 without any problems. After the pruning at the beginning of the week, the ladies had already recovered by the next day and the tops were significantly bigger again. I'm really satisfied with the genetics of the Powerplants. They're also drinking a lot more now; at 0.5 liters per day, the pots are just dry again the next day! The nutrients are going to e.c. 1.8 and I'm adding 10 ml (Fmax) xl cell for every 10 liters. I'm curious if anyone has experience with a higher dosage? Please reply in the comments! I had some mirrors left over, so I attached them to the cob frame to reflect the light back. If it doesn't help, it won't hurt, you know? I also upgraded the ventilation with a large oscillating fan on the ceiling. I think I'm also going to buy some predator mites as pest control before I get bothered by unwanted visitors!

yamadafakka .oohoo! Week 5 of flowering achieved, we're almost there. I found two old 100 watt blurple panels, so I hung those up as well. I'm starting to see spider mite spots forming on the leaves of some ladies, but luckily I scattered a predatory mite mix at the end of last week. I'm curious to see if that works well, or if I'll have to chop everything down after a week. I'm already very satisfied with the current bud coverage. I think I'll easily hit the grams per watt this run, even if I can't get the spider mites under control. It's important for the predatory mites to keep the temperature below 30 degrees Celsius, so I've got the ventilation up and the lights down during the first few days when the little guys come out. Too bad about the light, but pest control first! And I just think, outside the sun isn't always optimal either! The nutrients have been at an EC of 1.9 for a week now, and there's 1ml/l of XL Cell in there. For the next two weeks, they'll also get 1ml/l of PK/Boost. Since the Power Plants need 7 weeks of flowering, I was planning to give a bit more PK boost in week six, but then start flushing. Is that a good idea, or should I wait a week? (keeping the possible spider mite outbreak in mind!)

yamadafakka One week to go and I've made a lot of adjustments in the tent. The foliage had become very dense and a lot of moisture was building up in the tent. So much that the ventilation couldn't keep up and water was dripping off the walls. The moisture traps I set up earlier in the week were saturated after 4 days, instead of the promised 3 months! So, there's work to be done. I emptied the tent and removed the raised platform; there was already quite a puddle of water collected underneath. After mopping up, I decided to stop using the elevation. The ladies were heavily pruned and placed back without the scrog net, so they have a bit more space. An extra 2 fans (1 clip and 1 large standing fan) should ensure that there's enough air circulation in the final period. I'm really happy with the Roofwants mix; it seems like spider mites don't stand much of a chance anymore. Now that the net is off, you can also see better what the size of the buds is going to be. They're bigger than I thought; the buds are nicely closing into small colas. A few brown hairs here and there look really nice!

yamadafakka This was indeed the last week for the power plant. The growth had stalled and the hairs were quickly turning brown. Luckily, I had already started flushing, because not long after, several ladies were ready to be harvested! Now comes a torturous week of watching and not harvesting too quickly for the rest; I’ll only count the yield once it's complete for the Power plant. The runtz still looks nice and fresh, so I think I'll leave it for another week or two.

yamadafakka The harvest was a lot of work!Loads of compact buds all the way down the stems. It is not fully dry yet, but allready smoable ad has a kind of vanille like aste among others. Im curious what it will taste like in te end. Good strain to grow, with great diseas resistance. It grows quite uniform and dont ask for a lot of care. I will defintely try these clones again at the endd of the year for one last quick run
