aquicharles Hello friends, we started by putting the seed in a glass jar and keeping it in the dark for one or two days. When I saw that the seed had opened, I moved it to the easy star kit from RQS, which comes prepared and includes bacto for the first watering, and I placed it under a lamp. Once it had a little stem, I transferred it to a support with a bit more capacity and back under the lamp for about 18-20 hours a day. It's important that from the moment I add the bacto until the end of the process, I don't water; I just mist from a distance with a spray filled with water. I repeat, I only mist to avoid mold. Happy week!

aquicharles This second week, once the stem was a couple of cm tall and had the first two leaves always under the lamp, I transplanted them into 4L pots. They say it's not recommended to transplant autos due to stress, but in my opinion, it works for me personally. I notice greater growth than if I had taken it to its final pot. I've done two waterings this week: 1- Rootfast + Deeper 2- Top Auto (Base fertilizer) Always with minimal amounts.

aquicharles Third week, switched to the final 25L pot. This week, what I'm working on is regulating the temperature. We're still using root boosters combined with base nutrients, watering every two days with a different product, and the last one is just water.

aquicharles 2nd Week of growth, there is quite a difference in size compared to some similar ZEPA in a 7L pot, less capacity but more size, however, there's a yellowish color which shows an imbalance. I think it's excess fertilization and/or watering. That's why I'm not watering for 3 days, monitoring the weight of the pots; sometimes we water too much forgetting that the plant hasn't developed enough roots to absorb that magnitude yet. It seems like they are recovering their intense green, a sign of Health & Well-being.

I see a little yellowish girl, that means you havent found the balance on the feeding/// ph// wateringregime but out of the yellow she looks fine atm 2 possibbilities A) feeding dont has the right PH... Plant can take in the Nutrients B) feeding is to low in nitrogen and you can always take in somee calmag ( without nitrogen // or calculate the EC) https://www.growweedeasy.com/coco-coir I previously finished a miniature grow with 10 gram of soil, and i had tto learn to keep themm happy in controling the food and wateerinput aand thats the same here, yoou got to get used to the handling, dont give up...keep on growing

aquicharles 3 weeks in and we're managing to correct the yellowing of the girls. For that, I've had to lower the pH of the water while also reducing the amount of watering a bit. I only water with nutrients once a week and the rest is just water, also lowering the pH. I've raised the light a bit to lower the temperature, and every now and then I spray a little water. Although we had initial difficulties, luckily we managed to get a handle on things 🙂

aquicharlesstarted grow question 5y ago
Hey buddies, I'm going to do Scrog, with defoliation and apical pruning. What's the optimal distance to place the scrog net? I read that it's 30cm, is that correct?? When is the best time to do defoliation?

Hi mate, where to put scrog is completely up to you and your grow space. There is no set distance. Only defoliate what you need to, fan leaves causing shade for example. The more you remove the less energy the plant has to convert to fat buds. The only time i think you should defoliate is third week of flower times. open up the space between buds so air travel freely...Hope this helps...good luck

aquicharles Fifth week spectacular, the growth this week is amazing, and the first signs of flowering are starting to show. I'm applying Top Auto 2 ml/L Top Candy 2 ml/L Biobizz pH 1.1 ml/6L And we've done defoliation and LST with string and some stones, let's see how they respond.

aquicharles 1 week into flowering, it's starting to give off a smell!! And those long white hairs characteristic of its traits are beginning to show. I'm really happy to see them grow, now it's time to fatten them up and for that we'll use: 1 watering of base nutrients TopAuto + Top Candy organic flowering booster 100% natural 2 waterings of Big One organic stimulator which we will apply 1 more time in 10 days, then remove it in the final phase and finish with bloombastic. Happy week Growers!

aquicharles 2 weeks into flowering and I hope my training yields great results, guiding and bending the branches to receive more light and orienting them in different directions, plus defoliating to prevent them from casting shadows on each other. For watering, I’m still following the same technique as last week, although next week I’ll switch the base fertilizer to Top Auto (Top Crop), which is an NPK 3:5:6 and suitable for all cycles of our girls. However, I’m going to change it for something more specific for my case, like Coco Bloom A+B from BAC, ideal for the coco substrate in the flowering phase, with an NPK of 20:13:33, which I believe will provide more nutrients and increase production. Let’s hope for some feedback. Thanks, Growers!

aquicharles We're going to fatten them up with top Candy, being organic I combine it with bloombastic while measuring the pH and EC of the water. I think it's going to start fattening up like we like now.

aquicharles Final stretch, last weeks of flowering and fattening, I'm really happy with the results for being an auto, I'm going to get a good yield since the buds will have good weight. I'm still using bloombastic + top auto + Top Candy + Big One for foliar feeding where I manage to caramelize the buds.

aquicharles Good experience with the autos, but I'm switching to photoperiods so I can manage their light and save on costs while controlling growth. Autos are like wild ones, you can't control them. Enjoy!
