24hrs in water followed by paper towel method. They were left in towel for a little too long ,the seed was a sprouted root with the tiny greenish-yellow leaf popping out of seed shell (about 3cm).
The root was carefully planted in medium.
The seedling was placed on a windowsill with access to direct sunlight.

*The image added to be used as a reference to what the sprout looked like. No image was taken of the seed in question.
**This is my first EVER attempt at growing with intent to harvest. No official or formal experience.
***I do not know the proper definitions and names just yet.
The sprout had reached surface the very next morning. Later that week the seedling is looking healthier than expected growing upright . It grew tall and leaned too much to the right. A stick was placed to keep it upright. no nutrients were given just yet. Water sprayed every other day.
I noticed a poor root system. plants were moved to an intermediate pot due to weak stems and lack of grow space for roots. Nutrients were administered every other watering day.
Autumn has arrived and the air is cooling down. The seedling was moved to a custom made grow tent and switched to a 24hr light schedule.
The plant is doing well showing minimal signs of stress related to the transplant.
I have not changed the nutrient solution.
I am not sure if the plants are suppose to be as tall as they are before the first row of branches.
