Northern Light Automatic Low Budget

Otherland_Wildspice The goal of my grow is to give the plant as much sunlight as possible. This week the weather was very bipolar (foggy, cloudy, sunny, snow, rain). That's why I put my plant in my cardboard tent with my 36w lamp and ventilation during bad weather. I watered relatively little at the beginning of the week. However, I did give nutrients early on because I suspect that germination took too long and now it's missing 1-3 days of veg-time, which could affect the yield.

Otherland_Wildspice At the beginning of this week, the weather was very changeable. She developed well and beautifully, and I decided to do Low Stress Training even though it's a bit early. Even though she was a bit stunned from the LST, she recovered well. The spacing of the nodes is nice and short, and they are now growing vigorously. I'm considering training her with the fimming method at the beginning of next week. I water every 5-6 days with 1.5 liters.

Otherland_Wildspice This week a lot has happened. The weather was very good, and I was able to leave them outside or by the window often. I actually wanted to FIM them, but they didn't react as I wanted and just kept growing, so I topped them instead. Almost every day I've been removing leaves to get more light to the side shoots. Right now there are 10 shoots that are in the process of forming more side shoots. I think that in a few days the stretch will start since they are already in the preflower phase. Throughout the week, I completely replaced the FishMix fertilizer from BioBizz with Bio Grow and added Top-Max and Bio Bloom since the preflower phase. When the sun goes down, I always bring it back into my grow box (36 w led) until midnight, then the light comes back on at 6:00, and at sunrise, it goes back to the window or outside.

Otherland_Wildspice This week she has stretched a lot and is now in the flowering stage. Until the middle of the week, the weather was very good and she could be outside a lot. But then it got worse again and she was more often in my grow box (36 w led). I removed a lot of excess leaves and shoots that had no pistils. She's also starting to smell more and more.

Otherland_Wildspice Not much has happened this week. I'm giving more nutrients now and need to water more often. The weather is often very cloudy, which is why she's often in the grow tent. She's also producing the first visible trichomes and the buds are getting fatter.

At the end of the week, I defoliated her a bit to let more light reach the lower buds. The pistils have started to turn brown.

Otherland_Wildspice This week was very cloudy. That's why she spent a lot of time in the tent. By the end of the week, I noticed the first signs of overfeeding. During the last watering, I gave her regular water. I hope it doesn't get worse.

Otherland_Wildspice This week was very strange. I checked the trichomes and 50% are already milky, 10% amber, and the rest are still clear. I suspect I will harvest them sometime next week. Unfortunately, I also found some small black bugs cozying up in the lower part of the plant. They formed a kind of web which I immediately removed. Also, everywhere the bugs were, I discovered small black spots on the leaves, so I removed all the infected leaves...

Otherland_Wildspice At the beginning of the week, I flushed her. Something happened with the soil because the girl clearly signaled to me that she was overwatered (the water didn't drain properly). I'm also struggling with spider mites. By removing the leaves last week, it seems only a few mites are left on my plant. I always remove the nets and leaves where I see them. I haven't used neem oil. Now I'm waiting for the leaves to turn yellow.

Otherland_Wildspice Well, not much is happening right now. I'm just waiting for the leaves to turn yellow and the trichomes to be 50/50 milky/amber so I can harvest them.

Otherland_Wildspice Finally, the leaves are turning yellow :D The trichomes also look good, and she is now ready for harvest. I will put her in 48 hours of darkness and then harvest. I'm excited :)

Otherland_Wildspice I made a mistake while drying, the humidity was way too high (almost 90%) because it had been raining heavily for days. As a result, the buds lost some flavor and smell — but the high is still good ;)
