d8 - the second internode leaves are entirely visible
d9 - third level leaf is visible but worried 'cos usually @ d12 i have 5 sets of leaves and I don't know if I can achieve this result at this grow. Anyway can be the plant looks healthy, I've changed the setup and it could be that I gave them too little light in the first few days (I didn't want to exaggerate) but it could also be the variety, the cold weather etc...
d11 - showing first koalas - 0.8ec ph 5.9 -> sio2 0.05 / megacrop B 0.1 / megacrop A 0.05 / Ascophyllum Nodosum seaweed 0.05 mixed to calmag water 0.4 ec
d12 - out from the seedling phase but slightly behind the usual... Anyhow the fourth set of leaves has sprouted and 4 koalas are already visible from the internodes. I've probably been a bit conservative with fertilisation, but in order not to overfertilize (prebuffered coco + nutes = burn), it's probably better to stay light.
d13 - I have to revise the seedling feeding schedule because I was a bit light... for next time: 0.3ec at the third leaf
d14 - I'll wait a few more leaves and then make the topping for the mainlining... let's say until the first koalas at the bottom are big enough to take cuttings from.
@ihatemycat, nice one!
I grew Orange Bud my last grow. Absolutely, spectacular! My favorite citrus, so far. Good medicine for ADHD, too. Dense nugs and a decent harvest. Pineapple Express next, I think.
Currently, growing Black Cream and CBD.
@Growin_it, I thought it was an interesting strain too... in addition I was looking for something fresh but different from the usual citrous taste for this summer, and this variety is really promising!
yay! stay tuned!
@ihatemycat, With a little effort (and a lot of weed) we could create the first hemp defoliator cat in history .................... How nice to smoke weed 😂😂🤘🦄
@DreamIT, you have lifted my mood, i was getting worried that my cat was an addict! Any other kind of weed he doesn't like, even the one specifically for cats! ❤️ my little gourmet yummy cat 😹
Anyway i can also say that I have a cat gardener, he definitely takes care of the defoliation technique (but i'm lazy and I don't write it in my diary), anyway it is better to let it work from mid-vegetation onwards 'cos usually goes a bit heavy! 😜
@TerpyOG,
bha unfortunately not... it was a mix of events, I changed the nutrients and had to leave the plants a couple of weeks and this mess happened.
Mainly the plant has suffered during preflowering, the leaves are clawed because the nitrogen excess, i was get sizes with the nutes that are very concentrated. Now, because of the summer heat, I have to wait for September and I'm sorry because I really like the fastbuds "fruity" strains (my favorite is blackberry).... I think this summer the strawberry pie will be over soon.... 😭
