Within 48 hrs of being in the paper towel, 100% germination! This is the second time on a row, Crop King Seeds have all germinated. Awesome.
The room has undergone a transformation. A new Mars Hydro FC-E6500 will be used along side a 1000w HID. Upgraded commercial humidification system, full irrigation system and added a 4” carbon filter to help air scrubbing during flowering. I also put the exhaust from the air conditioner into a framed box to allow filtering from my 6” carbon filter before it goes outside.
Only looking for 11 pants in 7 gallon 400gsm felt bags for my 10x14 grow room. Also looking for 4 moms to grow in a tent using 10 gal 400gsm felt bags.
Very excited about this grow!
The end of week one and the feed was too strong…when will I learn! Haha
The growth is strong and I am pleased. It’s going to be hard to choose which ones will go on to finish and who will be moms.
This week they got there homes for the rest of their life. They still added a couple inches growth so I am happy with that. I withheld nutes this week to let them settle. I will feed next few days.
Defoliated, except one. Topped except one. LST on one. Letting one “runt” go natural. FIMed one but it didn’t stop shooting up so I topped her.
Flipping to flower in a few more days after they recovered.
This week ended with (hopefully) the stretching finished and starting that joyful time of watching the fruit develop.
Switching out the MH bulb for HPS now. So far so good!
Beautiful formation of flowers developing. Found it interesting that the HID light allowed a lot more stretching vs the Mars Hydro FC-E6500 (I’m not paid for that, that’s my honest observation).
We are in a hot spell where I live and finding it hard to get the temps under 25C. There is some cupping under the HID as I would expect. Training them to stay off to the side to help with that.
Still fighting some outdoor heat, but they seem to be holding up fine. Temps sometimes hit 32C.
Buds are filling in nicely. The girls engines seem to be working perfectly. Dialling back the EC has helped a lot with this grow. Leaf tips just slightly burnt.
Buds are fattening nicely. I think my air conditioner is giving out cause the room can’t cool to under 25 during the day, when it’s 17C outside. They are holding up to the heat ok, but I find the buds won’t be as compact at higher temperatures.
Definitely some fox tailing, but either way this grow is pretty much done. Throwing them in darkness for the next 48hrs, then hanging to dry for a week, followed by 2 weeks of curing.
