Welcome to my Greenhouse Mango Sapphire grow. This will be an all organic grow. I mix up my own organic super soil. It’s very similar to the TLO soil mix by the Rev but I have tweaked it some to suit my growing conditions. The original mix tends to be a bit hot for the genetics I run. This will be my first time growing out these genetics and I am pretty pumped to see how it goes. I will likely grow this in my greenhouse for a while but it may move outdoor if I run into space issues as I already have a Forbidden Dream by Humboldt started (3 weeks in) see other diary. Those genetics take longer to flower so it will definitely be staying in the greenhouse so it stays out of the late season rains etc. Grow Conditions: Starting indoor on a heat mat until it breaks the surface at which point it will go to the greenhouse 6x8 Greenhouse 100% all organic soil I might main-line this plant Aiming for 3 transplants with a final fabric container size of 30-40 gallons. Germinating right in the soil. I go this route so the baby goes straight into the soil and meets the myco right away 🌲 I find it results in a quicker start vs paper towel but that’s just my opinion. Well buckle up folks this should be a fun one 😎🍿

So this little lady finally decided to say hello. She is off to a decent start now. She is stretching a little bit more then I like so I lowered my light a bit. She will be going out to the greenhouse this weekend as well as the weather is suppose to be decent. That should stop anymore stretching as well. 😎🍿

This little Mango is doing her thing. Considering the weather hasn’t been great she is growing decently enough. I moved her to the greenhouse and the weather turned 🤦‍♂️ The greenhouse heater has been working OT this week lol 😬 Well stay tuned for this little lady doing her thing. 😎🍿

This little mango is loving life in the greenhouse. Looking nice an healthy at the end of week 4. I think she got a touch overwatered when I transplanted her into her new 1 gallon pot but she seems to be getting over it. The weather is looking nicer this week so there should be lots of new growth in store. 😎🍿

There isn’t much to report on this week. I have put this little mango lady in a ten gallon pot as I was growing tired of watering her all the time in the small pot. She is really starting to grow quickly sine I put her in a bigger pot. I will likely be topping her and taking some lower growth off in the coming week if she keeps growing as quickly as she has over the last couple of days. 😎🍿

Well this mango sapphire has really taken off this week! She has really taken on a nice shade of green in the last couple of days. She really seems to like her new pot and super soil mix! I took off some lower growth and topped her this week. Cant wait for more new growth 😏 😎🍿

Week 7 has brought some explosive growth with it. This plant is taking to topping like a champ! She has really started to branch out. She is pretty tightly stacked node wise so I foresee a need for defoliating her regularly. I will likely clean her up a bit this coming week and do some more topping as well. She is a beautiful green colour and seems to be really enjoying the bigger pot and is really starting to put on size quickly. I may move her outside soon and start some lst as well. 😎🍿🍻

Another week of scorching heat has made this lady grow like crazy. I had to do some defoliation as she was so bushy!! I also topped her again. I will be moving her outside this weekend and I will start to lst her to get that nice even canopy that we all love 🔥. I have started watering with Fish Shit and will be doing it weekly now. Humboldt genetics are always a sight to behold!! Onward!!! 😎🍿🍻

This mango is really taking off! I have done some topping and LST. She is really enjoying the outdoors it seems. I will be doing more topping, defoliation, and LST over the next week. I added a little top dressing of all purpose Gaia Green to keep her happy for a while longer before I transplant. 😎🍿🍻

This plant is great! She responds well to topping and LST. I have had to top a few times now to slow the vertical growth down. I have had to take lower growth and leaves off every couple of days as she is a very bushy plant and I don’t want any mould issues to crop up this early in the game. Although she gets treated with a variety of OMRI fungicides and pest prevention products on a 3-4 intervals. She still seems really happy in her 10 gallon pot of super soil. I will likely top dress again in the coming week to keep things happy for a while longer. I will likely move her into her 45 gallon home in a couple weeks I’m guessing. Great genetics thus far!! She clones like a dream too! 😎🍿🍻

Well has been it’s. This fine looking Mango saw a pot upgrade. I moved her into a 45 gallon pot of my custom super soil mix. The 10 gallon pot she came out of looked so tiny when I took the root ball out and put her in the 45 😂😂 She has taken well to her bigger home and I expect her to really start packing on some size in the coming weeks. I have been doing a lot of defoliation of the inner and lower portions. I will likely do another round of topping and more LST to really spread things out and maximize the canopy structure. Onward!! 😎🍿🍻

Well this plant is starting to take off exponentially in her new pot. I may have to do a big round of topping to keep her height down as I want to have the option to cover her up with the structure she is under and she is getting damn close to being to tall at this point as I anticipate there is going be some stretch once she starts to flower. I have done a bunch of cleanup of lower and inner growth this week but she seems like she almost needs more again lol. I can’t wait to see this lady in flower. 😎🍿🍻🌱

This plant is really getting big. I had to do a lot of topping and defoliation this week. I wasn’t planning on any more topping but she is getting too tall and I won’t be able to pull poly over her when she is in flower if she keep stretching upwards. Humboldt doesn’t lie when they tell you the size their plants can reach!! 🌱🌱 😎🍿🍻🌱

This lady is HUGE!! I hope she doesn’t stretch much once flowering starts 🤞. Humboldt genetics never let me done. I am starting to see pistils everywhere now so flowering is close!! 🔥🔥🔥 She is drinking 15-20 gallons every 2-4 days depending on the weather!! Hate to think about what she will require in flower 😅. 😎🍿🍻🌱

So this large lady is officially flowering 🔥🔥. I did some major cleanup as I found a little PM on a few leaves. I gave her a major treatment of OMRI fungicide and will have to stay on top of that going forward now. Although I took a lot of growth off so she should be more resistant now. I am looking forward to seeing this lady flower. 😎🍿🍻🌱

What else can I say, this plant is a beast!! She is bursting into flowering quite nicely. Pistils are popping out everywhere. I have found a little bit of powdery mildew on a few fan leaves so I will have to up my mildew spraying with OMRI fungicide to once every 3 days. I will rotate between two types to stave off resistance to them. I did a little top dress with my flowering mix of dry amendments. She seems to have liked it. This plant is healthy and happy with the exception of a little PM!! I’ve battled PM before so I know this foe well. I have conquered it before and will do so again 😎 😎🍿🍻🌱

Week 3 of flower has brought some frost along with it. It has also seen the stretching slow right down so she should really go into bud production mode now. I top dressed with some of my high N amendment mix and my flower mix at a 50/50 ratio as she was looking a little pale so I figured a little more N was needed to keep her happy. Plus the flowering mix to side in bud production. I have upped waterings to 17-20 gallons every 2-3 days and she seems to be enjoying a little extra water. I have been spraying her with OMRI fungicides and I haven’t seen any powdery mildew this week 😎 Onward! 😎🍿🍻🌱
