Well, there we go. My first grow. Total newbie but really looking forward to get better in this new hobby of mine.
Already done a mistake that I used just coco without perlite but we will see how that goes.
Wish me luck :D
2nd week and I can tell one thing for sure. I'm really bad gardener 😬 Had to leave for 5 days and that was let's say suboptimal. Another proof that this strain is able to live with little to none attention.
Changed the light hours to 20/4 to let them rest for at least a little time. Last big change was me finally finishing my controll system so even without me being present conditions were almost constant to preseted values (temp +/-0.2°C and humidity +/- 6%)
Really happy with their grow so i hope it all be OK.
I noticed that parts of the leaves of one of the plants are a little bent and twisted (as seen in the video). Is it a sign of a problem and if so what that problem is, or is it just natural?
Thank's for your help.
Both plants are bit bushy so i tried some LST. Hope that it wouldnt kill them because I don't really know what am I doing. But overall relatively happy with my first growing.
My [plant 1] started to have bit yellowish leafes. Is it just not enought water or is it somethig else? I'm watering when the coco seams to be more or less dry on the top because i don't want to overwater.
It really depends where this yellowing is can you make picture above the top of the Plant ( eagle sight)
because to me it looks like a lightburn.... i dont know ich light you use but 10 cm distance=?... always to close
( out of weak fl bulbs)
After resolving problem from last week and adjusting light distance, both plants started to grow better.
I'm bit worried that it is so bushy and still prety small :/
I hope they start to grow soon and get bit taller.
Also, I found first pistils so I'm really looking forward to next week! Flowering is near 😁
I will report again next week how that went 😉
Hi!
So, my [plant 2] is really bushy and the leaves look bit like salad. Is it normal for near flowering stage or should i do something to improve it's living conditions?
On the photo it does not look that bad but it's hard to take better picture :(
That curled up leaves is a light stress. Adjust the distance. It does look small for an auto in coco at this stage. But otherwise it looks healthy, so might ve just a light issue.
There was not much happening lately because end of the semester and there is no time to do anything. The first plant is now relativly tall wich is i guess good and started few buds. Second one, well, i'm bit affraid that she is gone. She looks good but she is still around 14/15cm tall and not a single sign of flowering. I just hope that she is just bit slower and that it is not him :D
In the middle of the week, there was like almost 30°C outside so it was bit scary. But somehow the temperature in tent stoped at around 26 or somethin like. My personal theory as is that it was caused by enthalpy of vaporization. So, thanks to physical principles my plants are still OK.
For now.... 😂
Well. I'm really happy from the first one, but disappointed by the other one.
Plant1 is going strong and those blooms smells phenomenally. It's so satisfying to see that one grow. Can't wait to see her growing.
Plant2 aka "big disappointment" is officially super slow, but girl. Saw few pistils yesterday, and also she growd lime 9cm since last week. The main stem is really dense on the top but without bloom. The side stems are now as tall as the main but thin and also without bloom. Hope to get at least yield at the end. If she's at the beginning of her flowering stage, It would mean that she's more than 2 weeks behind her sister which is not great, but better than nothing.
See ya and happy growing!
So I didnt reported last week because of school and stuff but now, week 8, here we go. And man, I love the progress. The [plant2] which i thought was doomed started to bloom and now she looks really well.
Not shure how much longer to wait with the [plant1] to harvest, so if someone can help me, I would be grateful.
And yes, this is my growbox :D It's as cheap as possible as I didnt know if this hobby is for me. Plus I'm poor student so everything DIY (except growbox)
I typically wait until about a 20-60-20, meaning 20 clear, 60 opaque, and 20 amber. How long you wait only determines the "Sativa or Indica" side of things. It determines your head or body high.
