Just regular water until the first set of true leaves. It's been one hell of a learning process but I know this diary will be instrumental in the grows to come. I am adding all this info months after the grow started so bear with me.

I almost started over on because I overfed and stressed the hell out of these plants for the first 2 weeks but look at them now. DO NOT GIVE YOUR COCO AUTO FLOWER PLANTS A FULL DOSE UNLESS YOU WANT TO FLUSH WAY MORE THAN YOU HAVE TO. I've settled on a weekly 1/2 gallon flush for my 3 gallon air pots with no ill readings. I water daily til I barely see runoff, .Transitioning to boom nutrients on the GG and BB. For the TG the only difference is a full 16 ml/gal of cocotek bloom nutes. Nutrients are cut down to 1.5-6 EC with buffered RO water. Usually 1/3 of mix per gallon total.

5/6 Pistils on the TD were starting to change color. I'm not sure if it's just heat stress or nute burn. Will dial back nutes to 1.45 for all plants this week and monitor. 5/4 Blueberry starting to claw, will feed at 1.45 EC until she is further along. Tangerine Dream and Gorilla Glue have are fine so far with a 1.6 EC feeding. 5/3 Clawing seems to have subsided, The girls are starting to smell lovely. I Will continue to feed at 1.6 EC and monitor closely. I noticed thrips on my tomato plant nearby so tonight I will be applying spinosad for insect prevention and soaking the coco coir with a mild solution 1 tsp/g then proceed with my weekly flush tomorrow. 4/30 I noticed a bit of clawing on all plants so i'm dialing back -.5ml a gallon the next time I mix a+b nutes. For now I will feed at 1.45-1.5 to hopefully offset the extra nitrogen and correct the issue.

I'm hesitant to defoliate since this is my first auto grow but the blueberry is damn bushy the tangerine dream could use a touch up too. Would you remove all the big fan leaves, half of them or what would you recommend? Tucking/tying down leaves is no issue if low stress is key.

Hi buddy, For me, basic rule would to be to defoliate anything blocking bud sites/ growth shoots from the light. Tucking can help but something you may need to do frequently. LST will help shape your plants to how you want so I’d recommend also doing that. Check my diary (Stardawg and girl Scout cookies) you’ll see what a difference it’s made to the plant I Lst’d. But feel free to message me and I’ll walk you through. Good luck and hope it goes well

5/11 Spinosad soak overnight and flush. Bringing up EC to 1.55-1.6 as im starting to notice a bit of a deficiency in the TD. My buffered RO water is about 200 ppm so I need to make sure I add enough nutrient mix to offset the difference. I may need to bring the ppm up to the 850-900 range. I can't wait to do this all over again proper 😅. Feeding early morning and late afternoon. 5/8 Lowered EC to 1.45 and split it into 2 seperate feedings for the day. I also pulled off about 10-12 fan leaves off the TD plant that were either layered or just in the way. It felt right, well see.

5/18 Spinosad soak at 1 tsp/g tonight then flush with a half gallon of clean water tomorrow morning. 5/16 Keeping EC at .85-.9 seems to be the sweet spot, I saw a bit of curling with a 1.0+ feeding twice a day. I wonder if the TD flowers started to stretch/dread because of heat stress and or lack of nutes when I was feeding in the .7 range for a few days. 5/15 Spinosad leaf treatment. Increasing liquid kool bloom 1.5 ml/g to make a it a total of 4ml/g

5/23 The fan leaves on the tangerine dream are starting to turn yellow. Im taking this as a sign to start ripening with kool bloom dry until a few days before harvest. Feeding 800 ppm until it gets closer. Update: I found a few mites getting ready to make even more of a mess. Spinosad spray tonight! Still feeding 900 ppm twice a day . The smell is such a tease! It smells like gods vagina in that shade house. My girls are filling out nicely. The Tangerine Dream is still plumping up and stretching a bit. Atypical of the strain and breed I suppose. The gorilla glue is so sticky it acts as a gnat trap, will def have to make a bath for her come harvest. The Blueberry is just massive, I thought it was going to be the shortest plant but it wont stop growing! This next week will be telling, I think we're reaching the finish line for the TD I'm in the process of getting some kind of magnifier that can take pictures for science. See you soon!

5/27 It's time for to start taking samples and dial in the effect. Even though I haven't seen many amber trichomes but the effect is getting heavier and heavier vaping in the volcano. The TD taste is definitely citrus with a hint of cheese. 5/26 Smelling better everyday. I finally figured out my usb micro cam and was able to collect good intel. The TD has at least another week to go and the other plants are 2-3 weeks behind. A few fan leaves are starting to turn yellow and she is swelling and ripening up like a fruit. The bugs including the mite have shriveled up and blown away in the wind. Will be applying spinosad to all plants as soon as the sun goes down for further assurance. It's getting a lot easier to deal with outdoor pests with weekly applications. 5/23 Definitely smells strong now. The trichomes on the TD are starting to turn milky. I'd say shes right on track for a week of ripening before a short flush. The other two plants are filling in nicely.

The buds stretching out is getting ridiculous on the Tangerine Dream. Aside from watching out for herms what would happen if i pruned the budlets that are stretching? The plant is healthy aside from those signs of possible stress. A week or so away from harvest IMO.

Hi there! There's many possible reasons for this : genetics (if so, there's not much you can do), heat stress, a serious lack of light, or too much Nitrogen during the flowering cycle. I won't try to prune the tops of these buds since it could stress the whole plant while it's almost ending its life. I'll be around, keep us up-to-date, and good luck with the last weeks!

6/7 The weather has been clearing up and it feels so good to get out of may gray. The Tangerine Dream smells exactly the way it should. Walking into the shade house you can tell she's close. I started my flush with plain spring water 2 days ago and will finish up Friday and Saturday with florakleen. Depending on taste/the color of the ash I may decide to flush the other plants earlier. The TD plant is very leafy compared to the other plants but she makes up for it with that citrus scent 😍. Blueberry and Gorilla glue are still 2-3 weeks away from harvest. I'll be transitioning to a Ripening formula starting with the Gorilla Glue next week as the Blueberry looks like its still going to be growing for a bit. Still don't see many amber trichs on the TD but the last big bag I did in the volcano managed to knock me out on the couch after a run. I do not desire any heavier effect from this plant so I just have to watch the dose. The high is nice, uppity and a little trippy.🙌

The Tangerine Dream has just begun and I can't wait to taste these in a month after curing at 62% RH. We are getting real close and the Gorilla Glue is ripening up nicely, just spotted the first amber trichomes. Blueberry is finally filling out and the frost on this plant is majestic. Soon.
