Giving this strain just over half of a full score as I didn't know much about genetics when I bought these seeds. With my current knowledge, I have doubts as to whether this seed pack has anything to do with the actual cut of Zkittlez. If this is a seed from a selfed elite cut, I have doubts about any population stability. Harvested at around week 13 of flower even though she didn't finish, definitely went over 120 days of overall growth. Made a lot of mistakes on this crop, had to chop early after two sightings of thrips on the buds. Currently drying and curing harvest in a dedicated wine fridge at 11 degress Celsius and ~65%RH. Will come back to these seeds after a few autoflower grows, as early stem rubs were promisingly fruity. Not doing a wet weight count. More details below. Will report on smoke once cured.

Reviews. Nutrient
I'm sure these are great nutrients, but I couldn't tell from the errors I'd been making throughout the grow.
Reviews. Lamp
Was made to believe this light came with an intensity dial in their advertising. Heat keeps tent in high 20s to 32 degrees Celsius on the hottest days.
Reviews. Tent
Flimsy tent, lots of light leaks to be cognizant of.

Crop failure was due to a cascade of negligence: - Getting over confident and slacking on my IPM in the last few weeks of veg/early flower. - I overdid it on the molasses, which put the soil in a semi-anaerobic state, inviting gnats. Soil smelled somewhat like a wet towel by the end of it. - Unaware that the "chop and drop" method of mulching is a prime environment for a thrip party. Didn't notice them until it was too late. - Trying to dry out the soil to make it uninhabitable for pests and larva was severely slowing down growth and basically put whatever system was left in the soil at a stand still. - Anaerobic soil was basically suffocating the roots, when I dumped the container, there was barely any rootmass. All of these mistakes resulted in a terpless, early harvest. On to the next grow, will be my second, going to pop an Anvil autoflower from Gnome Automatics, just waiting for my cover crop to come through the mulch.

Anyone have an idea on what that yellowing/browning is on that new, lower leaf in the last picture? First time grower, in Gaia Green's Organic Living Soil. Thanks in advanced!

Hi there, When I look at your diary, your plant is healthy and green.Don't bother with that leaf. But want to advice to give a slight touch of cal-mag, try to lower temp if possible and don't spray the leaves if not necessary. Then she should be fined.Good luck and happy growing... ✌️

Should I defoliate? As you can see in the pics, only the very top two nodes are growing fans, but it is getting crowded up on the canopy. The growth in the middle is from bottom branches that didn't stretch all the way up to the canopy, might use those for edible extraction.

I would remove that lower growth that’s gonna be stagnant air like organoman said it’s high risk for issues down the road. You’ve got a great canopy up top - I’d personally concentrate on that area and remove all the lower stuff that’s not getting light either, and will get even less when the budding begins - it will likely be dark under there in a few weeks time. You never know until you try things a few different ways and figure out what works for you but I would be worried about stagnant air/lack of air flow and lack of light in that lower middle area if you leave it as is
