Off to a good start, fingers crossed. There are 3 plants of each strain listed, and a few more I couldn't list. Started in Jiffy Pellets, then to 4" pots. The girls will stay on a capillary tray, and grow pretty quick inside, until June 15, when it's safe to put them outside in the fresh Maine air. No nutes yet, but they are growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest, and won't need any til they go in 1 gallon pots. They are on 24 full time, and I will be dialing that back to 18/6 next week, if not sooner. Goal is to veg them to around 1 foot, under T5 HO fixtures in the "big room". Have a couple of Dinafem "Blue Hash" that aren't in the pic too, and I won't be able to separate the strains until they go outside into their summer homes.
One week after germination, 2nd week of the grow.....I'm old, and do things "old school". Other than using Fox Farm trio, and dry solubles these girls will grow naturally, in the ground, in northern Maine.
The girls are recovering well from being totally root bound ! The roots grow so fast on the capillary mats that a late soil delivery almost stunted them badly. They are going into gallon pots right now, and will fill those in about 2 weeks. Everything going right on schedule again. The "big room" is where I veg the girls under 2, 4ft, 8 tube T5s. There are 35 now in all, and I am hoping there will be enough room for them...lol. This is the last stop before going outside to the garden in about a month.
Good week overall. Growth has gotten so fast I'm transplanting daily. The girls will go outside on June 5th, and be switched to Fox Farm nutes. Goal is 1lb per, and looks like that will be a conservative estimate this year. My best friend Mary Jane photo bombed the 2nd pic, but she is the best garden security device I've ever had so....she deserves her 15 mins of fame.
